The new trailer for arkham knight has been released Its made by rocksteady again instead of warner bothers montreal and kevin conroy voices batman. It takes 1 year after arkham city. The bat mobile is back and looking simulator to the model used in the Christoper Nolon trilogy. But to me his armor doesnt look just like a cloth suit. Now it literally looks like armor, So what do you think about the game and new trailer

I think that they're beating a dead horse in terms of naming future expansions. What's next? Batman: Arkham Arkham - The Revenge of Batman (Joker DLC 5.99USD$)

 

But I enjoyed the living buck out of Arkham Origins, so I have high expectations, as always.

To be fair, if they were ever going to have a completely thematically-different Batman game, they would need to make sure it's not confused with Rocksteady's stealth/beat-em-up series. And that's fair - for instance, did you even know that WB Games has made a F2P MOBA-style game using DC characters? (And yes, starring just about every Batman character)

 

For those who were put-off by Arkham Origins, you should be aware that that was made by a different studio - Splash Damage. Rocksteady have made both of the well-loved entries in the series, and decided to take their time on making Arkham Knight rather than have yearly releases. I guess it's a little bit like the Call of Duty Infinity Ward/Activision cycle.

 

I'm already kind of envisioning the ways that the batmobile would be put to use. I'll be damned if they're just going to make it a vehicle that you calmly call to place, walk up to, and get into. Part of me is envisioning, for instance: You finish doing something on a nearby rooftop, and your map shows a city street nearby. You hold down the LB button until you hear a double-beep. Then, you jump off the rooftop towards the street, and just before you become pavement-splatter, the Batmobile zooms past catching you in the driver's seat.

 

I'll be honest, ideas like that came from playing a bit of Titanfall.

I think by this time, they are milking the series to an extent.

 

Origins was great, but after that game, I do hope after this, they call it a good run.

Origins sucked IMO. So many inconsistencies that broke the timeline for the next game and things that seemed to be done just because rather than using the lore of Batman like Rocksteady did. It left a very bad taste in my mouth in what was otherwise a great run of games. I'm glad to see Rocksteady back behind the wheel for the final installment in the series.

The new Harley looks stupid though. You'd think with it looking to be an all out attack on the streets of Gotham after Arkham City's collapse and the death of Joker, she would still be wearing an outfit similar to the Arkham City version so she's more "street tough" looking rather than something closer to her stupid nurse outfit in Asylum.

I am looking forward to this game and it's top priority in 2014 for me. I know this is THE last Arkham game for Batman and people don't need to worry about the series being milked. First off, Batman is a legendary comic book super hero..Nothing will ever end with Batman. I can understand why people were frustrated with Origins. It's too short and the combat is not near perfect like Arkham City. Origins was still an all around good game though, just not a step above Arkham City.

 

In Arkham Knight I want to see a much bigger map and more interaction with underground sewers. Also walk into some building and explore more indoor ground.

 

Batmobile driving(good driving, not shoe horned design)

 

Please don't bring back the Joker. I love the Joker, he's not just the best Batman villain. But one of pop cultures best characters ever. Please give another Batman villain his/her time to shine.

 

Instead of placing in Robin in the background. Give Robin, Catwoman, Fawkes, Alfred, Jim and Barbara a deeper role.
