Does anyone like alternate ending fan fictions?

 

Like what if Nightmare Moon had won?

 

Or what if The Conversion Bureau ended with Ponies still winning and destroying Humanity, only for the Reapers from Mass Effect to invade and kill everypony and turn Ponies into indoctrinated slaves and Reapers?

Anyways, I'm indifferent to AE fanfiction, and not just because I don't read fanfiction all too often. In most cases, it tends to be way too light, or WAAAAAY too dark, primarily where it doesn't belong to begin with.

 

I don't hate it, but I tend to avoid it.

Alternate ending fan fictions show a different perspective if something from the show, was in reverse in terms of the ending. But, they are interesting in a way.

Yes I like the one of the popular alternate endings to My Little Dashie

 

IMOP its the more realistic ending as I dont think Celestia would be that much of a bitch to just have dashie abandon him like that. Also after being much saddened by the original ending, the alternative ending made me feel much better.

 

At least grant visiting rights.

 

There is even some sequels to alternate endings following the many years he spends in equestra.

 

However there is an alternate ending in that is very dark and is not a very good outcome at all.

 

Its kind of like the alternative ending of I am Legend when Will Smith does survive and follows the lady and her son to the survives compound. This was awesome espcially after I was saddened by Will Smith dying at the end
