I don't think they're trying to insult your intelligence, they're just trying to protect the forums. I'm sure if you asked a mod for a little more clarification on the guidelines, I'm sure they'd be happy to help you out! :)  (Or at least a little more clarity on why they flagged the posts that they did)

I bet I'm gonna end up staying up late since I had so much caffeine :izzy-shine:

Yes, but sometimes controversies arise from misunderstanding of a situation. I am in the process of having to ask them a question about something to avoid further issues with them on my end as well. They may be trying to protect the forums but it helps to try to understand where other people are coming from, it's easy to punish, it's harder to ask the question why, there's always a reason for why people behave the way they do, looking at the root causes of that behavior and helping them is usually the better option.

As for feeling welcomed by a community, there have been times where I have felt not so, but all we can do is try, even if we feel like the odds are against us.

I came to MLPforums because of like-minded citizens who also appreciate My Little Pony as much as I did, among other things they like talking about. There are other places for MLP fans to hang out, but Bronycons is something I've never been to nor have any intention of going to.

We're an open book, my friend. We all do what we can to explain things and set the record straight. The staff is always here to help, and we mean it.

As for what I am thinking right now?
...Food. I need to start cooking some food right now. :flutter-squee:

No problem :) I need to learn where the boundaries are, what is acceptable and what is not because MLPforums is not like every other forum out there, it has an audience who are more sensitive than others and that is not a bad thing. Some people here have been here for years, I'd appreciate it if things were explained better, not just for self preservation but also keeping conversation comfortable with people here, that is why I have to discuss this with the moderation team.

Well there is more that goes into it, but outside of following the basic Guidelines, there is a very simple answer. When in doubt, ask before you converse. If there is ever a subject matter that you're not sure if someone is ready to discuss, then just ask before you start talking about it. Most people are honest and will tell you what they comfortable with. It really is as simple as asking first and honoring their wishes. After all, you never truly know what someone is ready for at any given time. Even people that have gone through a lot in life can still be blind-sided by a subject they weren't ready for. Also, when you're posting in a public discussion, try to stay on topic as much as possible. There is always a time and place for deeper, off-topic discussions.

For now, I think that should be enough of an answer.
Let's follow the advice I just gave and keep things on topic here, shall we, please? :dash-hoof:

Just a reminder, earlier drafts of my fanfic were AI assisted, initially ChatGPT, then Grammarly. Grammarly, this is because sentence structure in terms of spelling on my end can be lousy sometimes. I have to bring this up to avoid violating guidelines here with regards to not taking full credit for anything I don't own. I ask moderators, please keep that on record.

(edited)

The hard rock band Accept has been my absolute jam lately, they just have that absolute hard rocky signature sound that not a whole lot of bands have captured my attention.

Somehow I ended up typing text in the second line, so the top was just a blank space. :/

There's some hurtful things I wished I never said, some behind others backs outside of the forum, things I wished I could time travel and prevent myself from doing. There are some situations in life where sorry isn't good enough, even if we beg for forgiveness and try to make amends.

Hmmmmm who do I wanna nudge to see about sliding me in on this testing going on next week. They can't not pick me. Actually they could not pick me but I've done so much for them there's no way they wouldn't lol.
