Grumpy Enchantress 586 March 26, 2014 Share March 26, 2014 No, I'm pretty sure I already was stupid before I started watching MLP.
Harmonic Revelations 8,835 March 26, 2014 Share March 26, 2014 I can say, with confidence, that I am of above average intelligence. I might not be a genius, but I'm definitely not stupid.
Archer Dash 163 March 27, 2014 Share March 27, 2014 I need to stop looking at Dailymail I think they're talking about stuff more akin to modern Spongebob and shiver Fanboy and ChumChum. I'm the uber-conservative one.Rainbow Dash x Kitchen Sink OTPA great man once said, "ON MLP 4UMS ERRYTHIN IS SRS BSNS"20% Chance I'm on my Wii U while posting this. Felix 1,363 March 27, 2014 Share March 27, 2014 Certainly not. If anything, this year has been my intelligence at it's best! I've been watching MLP for two years now, and here I am two years later with nearly straight A's in high school. I don't think I'm very stupid. Lol. Credit to Kyoshi for the awesome signature! Scootalove 10,689 March 27, 2014 Share March 27, 2014 There are cartoons these days that make their target audience of children feel like idiots when they watch them, but MLP does not make you stupid. Don't trust tabloid websites, they don't know what they are talking about. Credit: Moony © Forum FAQ Forum Rules
ClandestineWubs 12 March 27, 2014 Share March 27, 2014 I wouldn't say it makes one act stupid. If I act stupid, it's because I choose to...
OptimisticNeighsayer 478 March 27, 2014 Share March 27, 2014 I thought I was reading an Onion article until I finally looked at the top of the page. At least the Onion actually makes sense. No, "study", your experimental methods are flawed, flawed, flawed, you jump to conclusions, and you're framing a problem that actually doesn't exist, and if this was actually peer-reviewed I have lost all faith in academia. But if any cartoon featuring anthropomorphic animals were to make you stupid, MLP:FiM isn't one of them. Hablo español--Je parle français--日本語を話す--我说中文--...and sarcasm (yeah right!) I compose music. Ando333 135 March 1, 2017 Share March 1, 2017 Why should I even care about what a desperated stupid media says about something they have no idea about by using a social generalization with no professional psychological or sociological study at all? Many shows and kinds of media tend to say these things because it's just what hits on people minds, because it's "easy to understand" but it's too far from the truth. These things have no proper study behind, it's all just to gain audience or to look intelligent.
gamecubeguy214 2,512 March 6, 2017 Share March 6, 2017 I do not agree with this at all. Maybe what the article says is true if the parent doesn't let their child know that animals do not act like that. Pennutoh has a gun
