Rising is a bit confused. He look around to see the other ponies, who are here. Then he turns back to Princess Luna.

 

"Other ponies? Are more coming here?"

 

So they are not the only ponies here ...

"Yes. I am expecting two more ponies to show up."

 

"Hmm, my music could probably help in certain situations..." Melody thought out loud as she continued to stare at the large crystal in the center of the dream chamber.

Blaze successfully started a small flame and kept it going, he was able to see Luna's face better, "I should be able to do more than a small Blaze, but something is blocking the rest of my abilities, I don't know what it is, and honestly I'm not sure I want to know."

 

As true as Blaze wanted it to be, his heart was fairly pure, but sometimes obscured by other emotions, fear, agony, deception, envy.

He pushed those down as much as he could, but it felt like they were bubbling up,

More so than usual.

Blaze looked blankly around the room, "I've come a long way.....and faces many hardships, no doubt there are more to come......I can take it though.....Thank you Luna" Blaze paced back and fourth for a while, "I wonder how long we've been in here....I can keep waiting forever, but when are the others coming?"

"Your welcome." Luna stated as she continued to wait for the others.

 

(OOC: Ok, so I heard from Scribblegroove, and he said that he'll post when he can. He's been very busy.)

 

Melody kept on thinking about how she could use her talent to influence a dream. Meanwhile Luna was eying the crystal.

"By the way, is this crystal-thing there important for what gong to happen with us? I mean, it's the only thing here ... except for me, those ponies and you, princess Luna."

 

He knows, that the crystal is important somehow, but he don't get it yet.

"This crystal, you see...it is what keeps the dream chamber pure. Take that crystal away and nightmares will enter. Because this crystal is made of pure light, darkness cannot penetrate, unless, certain dark magic is used on it." Luna explained. Melody continued to look around.

"Ah, okay. So we better let it standing there, I'm not wanna end in an scary, terrible nightmare."

 

This crystal was really, really, REALLY important. Rising think about, to better stay away from it. He's not stupid or something, but he not want to be the pony, who brings nightmares to Equestria.

Upon mention of the crystal, Galatea set her gaze upon it. Merely looking at it, she could see, almost feel, the absolute purity of it. It was calming, in a sense, knowing that this crystal would stave off any and all nightmares. It gave her some sense of security; this crystal would protect her and the rest of the ponies as well.

 

And that seemed a vital detail, especially to the mare. She hated to think what nightmares would come if something were to happen to the crystal, what ghosts of the past would come to haunt her...

Luna waited but couldn't seem to contact the other two ponies. "Well my foals, it appears that the other two ponies won't be showing up. Before I let you explore, you have to know this, your emotions can influence how a dream is played out. If you're filled with anger and sadness, the dream will be turned either into a nightmare, or many sorrows." Luna explained.

Wait, what?! Rising get nervous. When he fear something, or going sad or angry and cause nightmares ... he not want to be responsible for this.

 

"S-So, we should try as good as possible to stay positive? To not causing nightmares? Princess, do you really think, we can handle this?"

"I have faith in you. I know you can handle this. This is the reason why I picked all of you." Luna stated.  

 

However, back in reality, little did the ponies know they were in for something else. A mysterious black mist was making it's way to Ponyville, which would render all it's victims into an everlasting sleep.

Chrysanthemum yawned as she walked into her bedroom. She had stayed up late working at the Greenhouse and definitely needed the extra hours of sleep. She walked over to to her bed, but paused and turned her head towards her nightstand. A letter, that had definitely not been there before lay on her nightstand waiting to be read.

 

Chrysanthemum tilted her head to the side. "Huh?" she walked over to her nightstand and opened the letter. She had merley scanned it, but liked the idea of going on an adventure. So she got in bed, pulled the covers up over herself, and drifted off to sleep.

 

"Huh?" Chrysanthemum opened her eyes, and stared at the ponies around her. "This must me that dream chamber the Princess told me about." she mostly said to herslelf.

"Indeed it is my little pony." Luna said turning to the new pony that just arrived in the chamber. "I wonder what awaits me in a dream..." Melody thought to herself as she looked at a portal, which would supposedly take her to a dream that took place in a meadow.

All it would take was sorrow or anger to turn a sweet dream sour... The thought sent shivers down Galatea's spine as her heart clenched with a pang of anxiety. She knew then, she would have to make a special effort - more so than she usually did - to lock out the memories that lurked in the bleakest depths of her subconscious. Those memories mustn't escape, lest she be the one responsible for making a dream into a nightmare.

 

Think positive thoughts, Galatea, she told herself. That's all you need to do... That shouldn't be so hard, right?

 

However, she was distracted from her line of thought upon noticing that another pony had appeared - one of the ones Princess Luna had been waiting for, apparently. There was meant to be one more, but the mare supposed that that pony wouldn't be coming. So with that, she braced herself for leaving the dream chamber to head into another dream. Celestia only knew what awaited Galatea and the rest on the other side...

Chrisanthamum smiled at the ponies around her, trying to be friendly. "Howdy, ah'm Chrisanthamum. But please, just call meh Chrissie. Nice tah have some company, huh? Thought I was gunna be all 'lone when I went teh sleep. But it's just dandy that y'all are here as well, so I won't be doin' stuff wrong like I often do. Now, if I may ask, what's happenin' ?"

Any dreams. Rising smiles for an moment, but then the next problems comes ...

 

"Where to start ..."

 

Rising has no idea, which dream he want to have. Normally, the dreams decided, what he is dreaming, now he is the one, who can dream what he want. Also a new pony arrived.

 

"Well, hello Chrissie, my name is Rising."

Dreams. Something that seems so indifferent for this young detective. Surely, his dream of becoming a detective has already been fulfilled. Though he isn't the greatest detective in all of Equestria. He is gradually getting better at his job, all he needs is the experience and surely, he'll be one of the best. What can you get the pony that has everything? Well, his vision of everything. Well....

 

A note given to him on the nightstand. A note from Princess Luna. The detective had read it a few times. Trying to interpret it's tone, the meaning, the actual reason for this note. 

 

His mind riddle with thoughts. 'The material from the note does feel regal enough, he's had a few letters before from royals. This does look like Luna's writing, but why? Why give him some type of adventure that he really did not need? Was there more to this? Or was there more meaning to it?' 

 

Questions, but answers would not be given without actually plunging into the realm of this suppose 'dream chamber.' A mystery....

 

He couldn't help but smile right when he thought those words. A mystery indeed. Luna is one who is able to go into dreams, but something of this magnitude sounds like something more than just a dream... 

 

The earth pony pulled off the sheets of his bed and laid on it. He placed the note into his coat pocket, feeling that it might be useful for later. The cushion feel of his mattress as it's compressed under him. Blankets being pulled by his hooves and covered him, enjoying it's soft touch. His eyes started to drift away...odd, he didn't feel that tired. Today wasn't a long day, in fact. It was pretty short. His eyes wavered about as he started to see something....m...the last thing he thought, a foreign thought appears to him, "Judge of your natural character by what you do in your dreams." 

 

His mind seems to recover from his dream, though....darkness. Has he gone blind? No, moving his hooves made him realize that it was just darkness...there is something, a feeling that he can't quite understand. The detective needed to move, there was something pulling to him. It felt irrational, but the detective follow the feeling, trying to comprehend where it was. Hearing only the pitter-patter of his hooves, as he trots towards it.

 

He saw something, doors. He stopped, taking a good look at them. These doors, it might of taken them months to actually design these doors. The actual design and large form of them was beautiful. A work of art, the detective didn't feel the need to continue to stare at these doors. Carrick's body wanted him to keep moving, he pushed the right door open. 

 

'A chamber.' One large chamber, with one large crystal as it's appropriate centerpiece. Once again, just like the doors. The chamber had the same beauty. As if it was made for a princess or....

 

Ponies, several of them, but the largest one caught his eye. An alicorn by the name of Luna. Princess Luna, in fact. 

 

The thought never occur to him. He was dreaming. He's...never felt one like this. A dream where you can actually control your body, sounds like such a foreign idea to him. Nevertheless, he was here and in control of his dream body. The detective try to  comprehend his situation. 

 

He certainly wasn't excepting all of these ponies, but they aren't hostile...yet. Odd to see an actual alicorn that ISN'T one of the princesses. Not to mention him being an actual male. There also seem to be the issue of the crystal. Was this the object that his body wanted to go to? What is it? 

 

'It's not hard to assume that were in the dream chamber itself, but the crystal...does this have to do with this suppose adventure?' Looking around at the chamber itself, seem to be the only thing to associate it with the adventure. Unless Luna is the one actually creating the dream for itself. Might explain the ponies as well. Are they part of the dream or are they actual ponies connected in this chamber?

 

Once again, stuck with questions, but he does have the ability to find the answers out. The detective open his mouth, "Detective Murphy here." He said aloud, trying to bring his attention towards Luna, "Princess Luna, am I to assume that this crystal here has to do something with the adventure itself? I seem to be a bit late to the party so some clarification would be nice."

"Ah think that should be easy enough. Yah said their positive dreams, am ah right Princess? If ah am right, then nothin' should be worth gettin' scared over unless they happen to be dremin' of somethin' that one of us is afraid over. If that happens, we can't risk bein' afraid, who knows who's dreams we're entering." *smiles*

"Good luck" Blaze proceeded to the doors, but not before bowing to the Princess and approaching her, "I can see it in your eyes Princess, you're weary, you shouldn't worry, I believe in the perseverance of the ponies you've chosen here" Blaze walked through the doors not sure what he would see.

"I wish ya'll luck as well." Chrissie smiled at the group and walked through the doors. She closed her eyes, trying to get rid of any negative thoughts that she might be thinking of. But when she opened her eyes...

she was on a beach, and there was a little filly playing in the ocean with her mother, 

This must be a memory. Chrissie thought.

The filly turned her head to face her, and started to look scared. 

No, I can't let this turn into a nightmare...I have to... she looked into the water, and slowly walked in. 

If only I was an advanced swimmer like those merponies..huh?  Chrissie dived into the water, only looking back once to make sure what she was seeing was correct. She had a tail, a purple, sparkling, scaley, fish tail. Chrissie popped her head out of the water, but the girl and her mother still seemed scared. So Chrissie popped her tail out of the water, and the filly smiled, but her mother looked confused.

"I am fine young alicorn." Luna stated. She then heard a voice. She turned and saw a new pony. "Welcome, to the dream chamber. You've arrived just in time. You can now enter any dream. But be careful, your emotions can change a dream at anytime, so stay positive." Luna said.

 

Melody had gone into the dream with the Meadow. She saw many different birds. "Wait a minute! I...I remember this." She said to herself.

Blaze opened his eyes, he was seeing clearly now, nothing was blurry, there was a sign reading Ponyville, "This must be the memory when I stumbled into Ponyville after my escape" Blaze stated to himself, "Just by chance...." Blaze looked around at his surroundings and began to move a bit closure into the small Town.
