Deae Rising Shine~ 55,953 April 3, 2014 Share April 3, 2014 (edited) I'm not the best, I know, but I have fun to do this and always giving my best^^ Rising Shine(Drawing free-hand but with pic and Original Picture) Rising Shine(Drawing free-hand, mostly from my mind) Rising Shine and one Rainbow Dash(Rising completly from my mind, RD from a pic) With the permission from SparklingSwirls, I draw a pic with my OC Rising and her OC Star(I use pics from our OCs and draw them, but with little change, so it is not a 1:1 drawing from the OCs. Also first time with background^^ Based from an PM-Roleplay, between Me and The Snapp(The background is fire with smoke, I know, it looks like anything then that XD) Rising Shine and Rainbow Dash When I do new ones, I post them here, hope you like it, I have still to learn a lot^^ Edited April 10, 2014 by Rising Shine 1 Legends never die. My mind is SO much better at getting the details right, but then my hands struggle to keep up! So drawing takes me FOREVER! SkyBound 829 April 4, 2014 Share April 4, 2014 These are pretty good so far as well as cute, and will only continue to improve as you draw more. It is good to see that you are trying different poses and perspectives for the characters you are drawing as well. And so long as you are enjoying yourself with this, that is what really matters. My only suggestion to you at this time would work on proportions and basic anatomy a bit. Though these are cartoon ponies and artistic liberties are taken to exaggerate movement and poses, the characters themselves surprisingly follow basic equine anatomy and look more solid due to this. There are plenty of references on horse skeletal structure as well as other useful references that can aid you. You may be quite surprised that by learning how a body moves and functions can be a tremendous help when drawing, especially working with various poses as well as drawing from imagination. I used to have the same problem, and I can tell you firsthand, it is easily fixed.
