She had flown as fast as she could, kicking herself that she didn't notice she had teleported so far away from the others during her practice...Her wings screamed from abuse that finally, just outside the edge of the city but still within noticeable view of the forest, she turned to see if the gryphon was following her.

 

"What kind of gryphon..." she panted, "can...use magic like that...Dark magic...?"

Golden's eyes widened when Luna mentioned she was good at archery. "You're good at archery? Don't worry about your sword skills, we can get them up to date." Golden said, slightly impressed. She stopped her pacing and looked at Luna some more. "From how far can you hit a target?" Golden asked.

Each clone attacked with expert level martial arts judo, karate, and Muay Thai mostly, but a little capoeira, and Kung Fu as well. Periodically, an attack from Thunder makes one of them dissipate. This goes on for a seemingly endless amount of time until eventually there is one warrior left. "You found me." It said and charged at Thunder again.

"How far, I don't know, I never measured how far my arrows go before, and sorry if it seams like I'm useless, it's just that I never thought of doing different things that might be important" Luna said apologizing for what she thinks is her being very useless.

In a quick motion he jumped to the side, dodging the move. He then kneed him in the side, then dropping a forehoof on his back, making him kiss the ground. "You aren't the first to use clones, it's a typical move. Used by others before you, try something else surprise me" he said whipping the hair from his eye.

"I'm up here!" He said with a wide grin on his face. Flying a small distance above him. The last clone dissipated. "I'm just toying with you know." He said mid flight as he unleashed a flurry of surprise attacks aimed for Thunders throat. He relied on he reflexes and speed more than his strength it this skirmish.

She teleported the rest of the way back, spotting Wonder and Thunder below, still dueling in the odd fashion, but there was no time for ego duels...She dived down, flattening her wings for speed, nearly breaking the sound barrier as she did, flying passed Wonder, doding his hefty attacks, one skimming her wing by mistake.

 

She landed with a thud in front of Thunder, and in an instincual reaction of magic, a bubble formed around her and Thunder. "STOOOOOOOOOOP!!!!!!" She whinnied out as the bubble formed, blocking Wonder's next pummbling attacks. "The gryphon..." she panted holding the bubble in place, "that dark gryphon...the one who... Cadence...Thunder and Tempest... He's in the forest now!"

Thunder went to put his hooves up to block but then he was surrounded him...and lightinging. Then she brought news, big news. "W-wait...where exactly" he began going up to her and putting a hoof on her shoulder to calm her down, then another hoof on the bubble. The bubble began to decay once his hoof touched it, he did it once wonder was done, and to relieve lightning of the stress of creating the barrier.

"Damn! You! I'm Wonder, and let's put a rain check on this fight." He runs and grabs his sword. "Right now we have a soldier of darkness to hunt!" He shouts behind him as he takes off and flies off and toward the forest that Lightning came from. "Race ya there, slowpokes!" He barrels his way toward the trees. Something seems different about him somehow.

Tempest sighed in exhaustion as he landed on a island. He had been flying for quite sometime now, and looked around at his surroundings. "I just need to clear my head." He thought, as his mind turned back to the others. The bat pony then looked at himself in a nearby lake, and felt something. He felt rage, sadness, desperation, and confusion. "Who am I?" He thought, as he looked at the pendant around his neck. Tempest then closed his eyes as a strong wind swirled around him. Memories of his life flowed into his mind, and reminded Tempest of what he was and stood for. When Tempest opened his eyes, they held a fire of determination. "I am Tempest Sol, captain of Luna's guard and the pony who stands up for those who can't." He shouted into the air. He doubted anypony could hear him, but he didn't care. The bat pony then stared out into the ocean, before laying down. He would head back out in the morning.

"W-wait up!" she called after him and leapt off into the air with him, the bubble shattering as she collided into it. "Wonder wait! He's dangerous! You can't take him alone!" she tried calling out but he was already too far up ahead for ear shot.

"Thunder!" She continued to fly after Wonder as she called back to the other stallion, "it's that gryphon! The one you were fighting! He's hiding in the forest! Tried to blast me with... something I don't know! I think I can stop his magic though with a magic neutralizer spell long enough for you and Wonder to take him out! It will only last a minute though, but we gotta catch up to Wonder and that gryphon before he gets away and harms another innocent soul!"

"WAIT!!" He called out chasing after them. He dashed in front of wonder, and stopped him dead in his tracks. "You're not going to do anything, he's under some control. I think sombra has something to do with it, but if anything ill be the one dealing with him. He's to powerful and he'll end you both even without magic. I gotta bring him back somehow" he explained.

Wonder easily zipped to the right of Thunder. He simply circled him, though. "Look, I was only showing a fraction of a fraction of my power back there. I think I can handle it. We subdue him and then figure out a way to turn him back." He stopped for a moment. "Alright, I have a plan, it's pretty basic, but listen. I can get him distracted, and you find a good place to take cover. I'll try to hold him still for as long as I can, and you hit him with an attack that can knock him unconscious." Wonder suggested with his eyes closed, mired in thought.

I can get him distracted, and you find a good place to take cover. I'll try to hold him still for as long as I can, and you hit him with an attack that can knock him unconscious." Thunder shook his head "ya, and I didn't even use any of my power, and it doesn't matter if that was a 'fraction' of your power. He'll kill you three times over, there's a reason sombra has him for his army." He began. "We need him back, plus your mortal, I'm not" he explained "all we need to do is bring him back, snap him back to reality"

Wonder snapped behind Thunder. "And what if I don't care to die? There's also a reason that Celestia has me as her agent." He said flying back at the forest, barely viewable from the naked eye. He very quickly landed in the forest, and searched for the winged buffoon that has everyone so startled.

"Your funeral" he said rolling his eyes, but was he going to let wonder get himself killed? Probably not, but he didn't care if sole did kick him around a bit to prove thunder right. He then looked back to lightning "you gonna follow him or me?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

As sole finished the last of the clones, he cursed as the mare flew off, likely to warn the others. "Bitch..." He mumbled, as he realized he was still injured. Focusing his magic, he healed the wound as much as possible without draining too much energy. After he finished he could sense several powerful magical presences nearby. One of them was Thunder, and the other was a new pony. With grim resolve to defeat his rival once and for all, he flew toward their location. He could already feel his hatred and rage growing...

"I'm..." she hesitated not sure what to say...snorted and gave him a firm look, "I'm with Celestia, and the good of our people...I trust your judgement as well as his, but you both need to find a way to work together on this! And don't forget I'm here to help! So let me!" She darted passed him flying faster then she ever had, landed in the forest just behind Wonder as he began searching for the culprit.

 

"If he really is brainwashed..." she whispered over him, "there can be a way to bring him back if you two are able to knock him out...maybe neutralizing his power on my end can slow him down at least.." She sniffed the air behind them, to the side, then finally in front...and immideatly doing so the smell of dirt and feathers hit her nostrils. Her ears went down, her tail tucked underneath, "he's dead ahead...And...I sense a lot of rage..."

 

Her horn lit up, surrouding in a black like aura, the magical neutralizer spell... I only hope this works, short period as it is...she told herself.

As Sole flew he picked up speed like a rocket, barreling straight through trees like a bullet. Even when he neared the small group he didn't slow down, in fact, he sped up. When the group came in sight he aimed straight for Wonder, before crashing into his exposed side with a powerful kick, made even stronger by his momentum.

"WONDER!!!!!!" She whinnied loudly and out of relex, shot the spell from her horn, just hitting the wing of his attacker. Not waiting to see if the spell took effect magic wise, she charged to Wonder's aid, her horn down like a bull, galloping with wing power, head on into his rear, her horn right on target.

 

"Get away from him!!! POSSESSED VESSEL OF EVIL!" She leapt at him, throwing her weight into the motion.

As the kick connected with his enemy, he could feel his wing hit by something, but he ignored it and flipped around as the mare came charging toward him with her horn. "Don't make me laugh!" He growled, before grabbing her horn and swinging her around and throwing her toward a large tree.

She managed to get tossed into a weave of leaves and branches, while avoiding getting the wind knocked of her from hitting the larger branches. She shook her head trying to get the spinning out then poked her head out to re-establish her target. "HEY YOU!" She called out trying to distract him from Wonder, "so big and bad, throwing me into a tree cause you can't t take on an alicorn mare! You coward!"

 

Lightning Bliss you are a the stupidest alicorn in the world... she told herself as she ducked out of the tree, landed on the ground and drew her sword, her knees obviously shaking but her magic seemed to react to her protection. "Hopefully my magic neutrilizer spell took effect, because now you have no magic to aid your evil goals! Surrender! Thunder is on his way!" She weaved her head back and forth, and stragetically threw the blade back in defense, ready to block any attacks he decided to aim at her.

Sole was about to continue his assault on Wonder, but froze as he heard her words "coward..." He repeated, before turning to her with murder in his eyes "I'll show you how a 'coward' obliterates his prey." He said darkly, raising his talon to form a magic attack. But as the magic formed, it suddenly disappeared, like a candle being snuffed "what the..." He mumbled in confusion, before glaring at the mare "dammit, looks like I'll have to kill you the old fashion way." He said angrily, before using his unnatural speed to flit toward her and kick at her head

Tempest opened his eyes, and sensed a faint, but familiar aura. He then flew into the air, and back towards the everfree forest. "I hope I'm not to late." He thought, as his aura surrounded him. The bat pony then sped up mid flight, and tore through the air. He didn't care what the others thought. If innocent lives were in danger, there was no way he would idly sit by and watch as the world turned to fell into darkness.

 

Sombra smirked, as he saw the Crystal empire. "Time for the attack." He said, as his forces charged into the city. Whatever was left of the royal guard had set up barricades, but they would fall easily.

@, (Nope I actually laughed, thought omg she got tossed into a tree, rightfully so she's so weak for an alicorn lol)

 

She grinned seeing her magic spell had in fact taken effect only to suddenly react by instinct, and block his kick with her blade. She spun off from his attack, dodging underneath him and scampered away trying to get between him and Wonder. "Darn it Thunder...where are you?" She gulped as she held her ground and flipped her sword in her mouth ready to attack back if she had to, "did I say...c-coward?" she shook, "I mean...um...YOUR A CAT BIRD!" At that she lowered herself down, her horn glowing ready in response and teleported out of his sight only to reappear above him, diving down, her blade just slicing through one of his wings, cutting his primary feathers.
