CosmicHooves 2,705 April 22, 2014 Share April 22, 2014 Honestly guys. Sometimes I just don't give a buck. For example,my brother caught me watching MLP on my iPod 5 and called me a little girl. Instead of hiding my iPod and denying it I faced the screen towards him and said, "Now we both can watch!" Another instance was when he caught me listening to this song. He then called me gay. Instead of turning off the music I took out my headphones from my iPod, plugged my iPod into the speakers, and BLASTED the music throughout the house. Are you this way? Are you the type of Brony who just doesn't give a buck?

M'aiq the Liar 5,804 April 22, 2014 Share April 22, 2014 Well a overly negative association can effect your social and or love life. But so long as it does not bear a negative connotation like being a member of a racial supremacy group, then it is fine. 1 http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/vera-yeoman-r5921Muh pleb tier OC .http://mlpforums.com/blog/1663/entry-12477-pony-waifu-wedding-13-maiq-x-fleetfoot/ MLP forum's #1 Fleetfoot fan also married to fleetfoot <
bailey2 114 April 22, 2014 Share April 22, 2014 Nope, I spent too much time in my life living it the way other people told me too. "cut your hair", "study harder", "don't listen to rock music", "don't wear this, don't wear that" I'm way past trying to please people and i'm living my life the way I want to live it, Nobody has mentioned me wearing pony shirts in public anyway, I think people might look at us differently in England. There are people who are both bronies and members of racial supremacy groups, now that's just stacking opportunities to have your life ruined. And I never really cared. I do what I want, if I want to be in your face about pony I will, but as of now I'm usually very lax about showing it off in public unless I know I'm going to a meetup that day or the like. CosmicHooves 2,705 April 22, 2014 Author Share April 22, 2014 Well actually, I am pretty sure that my brother MIGHT know! I literally make my brother go nuts.I am so not closed when I'm at home with him. I wear my "Fluttershy Yay" t-shirt right in front of him. He tries to tell his friends that I like ponies and they look at him like he's crazy. That's because I'm known for being the track and field jock in 10th grade. Jocks are supposed to be "cool" and not into that sort of stuff. That's the philosophy of my class.
Felix 1,363 April 22, 2014 Share April 22, 2014 (edited) I wish it were that easy to say. I dunno. I try not to care, and even try to show people my true colors, but the problem is is that I'm aware how much people get bullied for that kind of thing and I simply fear having to suffer from not just opinion but rumor and action that could come from those opinions or rumors. I'm a totally different person at school, and not a good kind. Maybe to my teachers yes because I'm quiet and focused but my friends really find me boring. When I do try to act like the real me, a crazy psycho that cracks jokes and jumps off the walls, people just laugh with sympathy like "Oh he's trying!" I continue to do what I can however. BastementSparkle 20,326 April 22, 2014 Share April 22, 2014 Nobody knows but that's mainly because I have found no reason to tell anyone. I guess they'll have to know when I finally get around to buying merchandise. I don't think I would really care what people thought of me. "Hey you like a show for little girls." Little girls must have good taste in television then. "Hey you like ponies? Are you gay?" I only like the mares that way thank you very much. "What's wrong with you? Horsef*****!" Have you ever seen a talking rainbow Pegasus? Comparing ponies to horses is like comparing an apple and an orange. 1 Twilight is best pony. Why hello MLPForums! What have ya been up to? LunaFlower226 38 April 22, 2014 Share April 22, 2014 Some people at school know I watch MLP like my closes friends and three of them watch MLP to but some people do make fun of me for it so I ignore them and I wore my pony shirt proudly to school to day with my AJ neckless around my neck (but it's always around my neck where ever I go)

Envy 6,170 April 22, 2014 Share April 22, 2014 Well, I'm not a 'Brony', and I don't flaunt my liking of the show at all. Just about the only interest I will talk to others about IRL are my instruments. If you think that doesn't get me judged, you'd be wrong. They all think orchestra is what my entire life revolves around, call me "Ms. Classical", and act like Classical is the only kind of music I ever listen to. -_- Years ago, I used to be really outward with my interests in anime, cartoons, video games, music, etc., but eventually I noticed that kind of stuff probably just annoyed people, so I took it down to only talking about my passion in playing my favorite instruments and orchestra/band. Still, in between my best friends, I will talk about those other interests, and I'm afraid that I may have come off a little over-the-top about them. Since I don't drive, being out with my friends is the best opportunity to buy MLP stuff that I want... So they probably think I am obsessed with it, even though I'm really not. But they know me, so I'm actually not too worried. (Contradictions, yay!) Everything needs more woodwind!

Shanks 10,816 April 22, 2014 Share April 22, 2014 I don't go out of my way to tell people and I don't go out of my way to hide it either. If people want to judge me than they are the ones with a problem, not me. Well a overly negative association can effect your social and or love life. But so long as it does not bear a negative connotation like being a member of a racial supremacy group, then it is fine. Yes but me and so called "polite society" never got along anyway so I pretty much stopped giving a damn a long time ago. I have had many "friends" in the past that were not my friends at all but were really taking advantage of me so something like ponies is a good way to weed those people out and it is also a good way to weed out mates who are shallow and selfish. I want a girlfriend but not if it means lying to myself and others. Rarity Get's Cockroaches

Kay Dreamer 884 April 22, 2014 Share April 22, 2014 I've long since stopped caring what people think of my hobbies. I don't make a big fuss of them, but I don't make any effort hide them either. If someone happened to see me drawing ponies, I'd just shrug and say it's a cute show. End of story. Most people don't care, or at worst they think my geekiness is an odd quirk and they don't hold it against me. (And sometimes they like the same stuff I do. That's always cool.) It makes becoming acquainted with new people kinda funny. I had to do a 10 minute presentation for uni today, on any music-related topic. I chose to do video game music. The look on some of their faces was nothing short of hilarious! They had no idea I played games. I've known these people since the start of the year, but it just never seemed like a relevant thing to mention.
