Yay plushie! :D

I'm SUPER excited to finally be posting pictures of her, because I have worked and reworked and revised and edited the pattern soooooo many times I lost count. But I've finally come up with a Pinkie Pie I'm happy with! I posted a few more views of her on my DeviantArt.

What do you think?? :D

D'aww, thank you guys! :3

Next I'm doing Fluttershy :3

The knees on her hind legs need a little more defining and protrusion, but it's otherwise excellent. I like the squarish bridged snout. It looks adorable.

I genuinely appreciate the constructive criticism. You are completely right about her back legs being wonky and I'm working on a mock-up to correct it right now ^.^

Really awesome work! I think the eye proportion to the head is a tad small from this angle, but it's looking great! I wish I can do that sort of thing!

Thanks for the feedback! I actually think it's just the overhead angle that makes them look like that, if you click through to my DA I've posted a few more angles of her including one that's a bit closer up on the eye and cutie mark ^.^

OMG, it looks AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-MAZING:P

The legs (contrary to everyone is saying) looks to me really sturdy, so she can stand much better than my BaB one fx!

And the nose is super cute, and  the ears and..

Thank you for the nice feedback, everyone. ^.^ It makes my heart happy that I was able to make something that brought a little bit of joy to people's days ^.^

I'm sorry the legs are wrong *goes and cries in a corner* I already drafted a new pattern so the next ones I make will be better ^.^

I checked your DA to confirm the eyes were embroidered. I couldn't be sure just from the picture.

Before I had an embroidery machine to use (and a real nice one at that) I was stuck doing freemotion embroidery on a more basic machine, same as you. I'm proud that you went that route; most people would give up on trying. If you're going to be doing more eyes, I can teach you the technique I used to use to do them without an embroidery machine. They look like this:

That is so sweet of you to offer! I have made a few with hand embroidered eyes, but they NEVER come out as nice looking as that one :o Plus it takes soooOOoOOOOoo long for me to hand embroider them v.v Usually like 2-3 days PER EYE. I don't know much about embroidery, but my friend who does said I used a "silk stitch". I would love to hear advice from you since that eye looks mind blowingly amazing.

That looks adorable! *hugs Pinkie*

You're super talented! I love sewing, but I've never made a pony plushie before because I can never find the right fabric for it. What kind did you use? :D

I considered hand embroidery very early on but elected to get good with my regular machine instead. Now I don't have to do either thankfully, as my embroidery machine is *really* good. I found a comparison pic I made

I think it took about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to make each eye, which is still way better than 2-3 days, and it is done with a satin stitch. If you want to get in touch with me through the messenger I'll go over how I draw the design on stabilizer and how to vary the stitch width, turn and blend the stitches to get the effect. A big part of it is practice though. I'm so confident with my machine now I think I could use it to perform surgery.

Thanks! I'm buying all my fabric and fleece (for my upcoming projects) very soon this week, so I'm going to order that as well.
