Plasmastorm X-15 162 March 14, 2012 Share March 14, 2012 (edited) Okay. This happened about like 3-4 weeks ago at my friends house. It was me & my 2 friends, We was talking & blah blah blah. I mention about ponies & m friend was like "No Ponies on my T.V." I was a little upset of how he knew but it was whateva. Soon my other friend (Who i turned into a brony) was like. "Oh Quan! I just remembered something." i said what? he said this. "Some of the guys at the library, our friends. (Apperently he was a dick & he didn`t tell me who said this) Said that your not a brony." Now remember.... A brony is a Straight Male who enjoys & watches the series of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. My friend said that "Oh your not a brony." I said how? i watch the show & everything. He said "Because they said a brony is a straight male who watches the show. They said im not straight, gay, bi or anything. All you think about is ponies." I mean so what. I have a fetish, I watch the show, collect the toys(Even though i don`t have any yet ) & i asked my mom to buy me some MLP clothes too. & I do think about regular women. Your point? He said "Thats what they said. All you think about is ponies so your not anything & that means your not a brony." What type of bullshit, lame, Excuse is this? Krall 263 March 14, 2012 Share March 14, 2012 I generally dislike the term "brony" - it being gender specific - but I have never heard of sexuality impacting on whether one is or is not a brony. Provided you are a fan of MLP and want to be referred to as a brony, you're a brony; no ifs, no buts.

Pencil Sketches 22 March 14, 2012 Share March 14, 2012 (edited) It doesn't matter what your sexuality is or gender if you enjoy the program "My little pony: friendship is magic" then you're a Brony/Pegasister. Luurilka 325 March 14, 2012 Share March 14, 2012 Yes, what pretty much everyone else said. Being a brony doesn't mean that you have to be a straight male. Bronies can be any gender and sexuality. Discordian 6,015 March 14, 2012 Share March 14, 2012 lol Being straight has nothing to do with it. A brony is a fan of the show who wants to be referred to as a brony. When I talk to other people about MLP I call the fans "MLP fans" because I know not all fans like to be called bronies. Even female fans are considered bronies by some and themselves. Personally I don't particularly like the term Pegasister but if someone wants to be called that...okay. You're a brony no matter what anyone else says. There are no definitions or rules to being a brony except that you consider yourself one and are a fan of MLP:FiM.
The Milkman 186 March 14, 2012 Share March 14, 2012 (edited) First of all, i should correct this: A brony is a straight male who enjoys & watches the series of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. To... A brony is a person who enjoys & watches the series of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Now im moving on to this: He said "Because they said a brony is a straight male who watches the show. They said im not straight, gay, bi or anything. All you think about is ponies." Sexuality is not related with being a brony, you can be a brony and have any kind of sexual preferrence. If you think about ponies all the time, that still doesn't modify your sexuality. Jadefire 2,797 March 14, 2012 Share March 14, 2012 (edited) Funny how so many people try to equate ponies with homosexuality. Being a fan of ponies doesn't make me gay. The fact that I like men makes me gay. My Little Pony has nothing to do with it. To the point, their logic doesn't even make logical sense. If I'm understanding this right, they're basically saying that being into ponies means that you're not into ponies. Bu-huh? Edited March 14, 2012 by Jadefire Ponysona bio, here. Fluttershy4life 150 March 15, 2012 Share March 15, 2012 I just thought a brony was someone who was over the suggested age limit that enjoys and watches the show. Didn't think rules applied *shrugs*
Aureity 3,055 March 15, 2012 Share March 15, 2012 The definition is quite simple. If you watch the show, and you enjoy it, you may consider yourself a brony. 1 A lil' Catherine <(^.^)>
Guest March 15, 2012 Share March 15, 2012 To the point, their logic doesn't even make logical sense. If I'm understanding this right, they're basically saying that being into ponies means that you're not into ponies. Bu-huh? It is about the mental equivalent of this sort of logic: If they aren't trolling then they have quite a faulty logic system, or they were trying to talk about something they knew nothing about (I'm kool cuz I can tell Bronies dey aren't Bronies lololololol, look how smart I iz.) Also, I have to agree that sexuality does not indicate any level of "Brony-ness" or if you are a Brony or not.
