Would Princess Celestia and Luna's Old Castle be Twilight's?

Hello everypony! It seems to me we are getting real close to the Season 4 finale around here. I just looked up what the finale would be and that makes me wonder if that old, ruined castle which was first featured in Castle Mane-ia would be Twilight Sparkle's. If so, then I would love to see what it would look like once the refurbishments are done. 

 

This however still doesn't change the fact that Twilight Sparkle doesn't have to act like a royal princess all the time. She'll still be with her friends and be Twilightlicious. But if she's out and about with her friends, who will look after her castle if she has one? We just have to find out soon enough and hoofs crossed she won't get kidnapped by some sort of giant horned turtle or shadow or whatever.

 

What do you think? Would that place be Twilight Sparkle's castle or not? This is a theory we all can discuss about.

My thought came from power ponies episode when twilight and other are cleaning up the castle. Since them I've been thinking that it is since A: twilight mention about celestia probably giving her a kingdom mentioned in equestria girls, B if twilight was she don't need to be worried about ruling a kingdom far from her friends since that castle is somewhat close to ponyville (don't know actual distance)

C in repeat of my thought mentioned above.

 

*note: though we haven't seen the castle fixed up in recent episode inspiration manifestation we can probably assume it's still not done and or we will see it complete in the finale.

 

But I do have high hopes the castle of the toe pony sisters does becomes twilights castle.

I guess it's how much thought you put into it, the writers are smart people when I found out one of them helped write Ed Edd n Eddy, so I bet they probably want too, but if I'm not misunderstood the castle is sorta ruins?

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be, yeah. It's in the Everfree, and I was thinking that maybe that would become part of Twilight's territory. As the friendship princess, that's the power that would begin to tame the land. Maybe? I don't know if there's any actual basis for believing that. I don't read spoilers so .. yeah.

 

But that's what I was hoping for since early in the season.

Yeah I'd think so too. She'd probably visit the place every now and then once it's a little more habitiable and all. I wasn't 100% sure on that being true or not since most of the summaries are only a sentence or two long at the moment and all aside from the hubs which is nearly a paragraph long. But it does sound like a promising plot.

I'm not sure if Twily will get THAT castle specifically, but I'm sure she'll govern from there. Maybe the Tree of Harmony will become her castle judging by a DVD cover

Ever since season 1 I've wanted her to have that castle (even before she became a princess). It doesn't seem to far off, but we can't be sure. They would have to get around the fact that the castle is filled with traps and dark magic, but other than that I see no reason why it wouldn't be fit for Princess Twilight. Plus she loves books, and the ancient castle library is filled with them. She wouldn't need to auction off her old ones with all that space

I've been looking closely at that artwork and the tree/castle does resemble the tree of harmony. By its design and effects

Well this is what her "castle" is going to look like in the rainbow kingdom. But I could see the everfree forrest being converted into the rainbow kingdom.

I think so because that would explain why it was revisited in "Castle Mane-ia" and the Mane cast were working on fixing it up in "Power Ponies" as well as revisiting the castle and it's library for "Inspiration Manifestation" and the Rainbow Power will probably end up making it beautiful after defeating the villain in the finale.

 

Plus, it would mean that Twilight wouldn't have to move too far from Ponyville.
