In Games Ponies Play, when greeting the games inspector (or rather whom they THOUGHT was the games inspector), how does Shining Armor introduce himself? "I'm Shining Armor.". not PRINCE Shining Armor, not CAPTAIN Shining Armor, JUST "I'm Shining Armor.".it may show Shining Armor remaining as humble as ever despite becoming royalty. so, heartwarming moment? yes? no?

I didn't find it to be heartwarming. I didn't even notice, to be honest, but I don't think "heartwarming" would be the right word 

It is pretty cool of him, though, if that really is the case. It seems like most princes would be like Blueblood and be mecha-asshats about it. I'll have to rewatch the episode and see what's up

Are you asking this question because you're a robot which doesn't have its own heart to try it out and find out the answer for yourself? If you actually have heart (which I guess you have), you should know the answer already.

 

As for me, I didn't even notice it. Now when I know it, I don't find it hearwarming (nor do I find it not hearwarming). I'm neutral about it. Fun fact and that's all. More heartwarming was for me was that the supposed inspector get so much warm feelings and attention from all those ponies, so that she seemed to feel as someone really important, which didn't seem usual to her.

I didn't notice either. Seems both he and his sister are pretty modest when it comes to titles and so on. I wouldn't call it heartwarming, but definitely refreshing after seeing the likes of, say, Prince Blueblood.

Umm it could be that way, but also we don't know how the royalty system works when it comes to marrying a princess. In the UK even if you marry the queen it doesn't make you a king, and when the Prince got married his wife is still a duchess. Maybe in the pony universe you don't get a title when marrying a princess unless you are also an alicorn, although we haven't seen a male alicorn we can't count out it can't happen.

I didn't really notice it to be quite frank. I've always seen Cadance and Shining Armor to be very modest and chill. I absolutely love that they rule the Crystal Empire together.

Heartwarming is something like celestia and Luna reuniting at the end of Friendship is Magic Part 2.

This isn't heartwarming? Nor is it anything close to being heartwarming.

 

Heartwarming is more along the lines of Celestia singing to Twilight in Celestia's Ballad.

 

Shining Armor was just casually introducing himself. He is the Prince of the empire, don't you think ponies would already know who the ruler is?
