Is Soarin a pushover?

In Rainbow Falls, when Soarin injures his wing, the others don't think twice about replacing him and, until the end, Soarin just lays back and takes it. which begs the question, is he a pushover? or perhaps just too laidback for his own good sometimes?

He's probably too laid back, he has been shown to have excellent athletic abilities......unless all those pies are starting to catch up  :comeatus:

His mood is based on plot. Plot tells him how he should feel.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it save equistria with its five candy coloured friends and shoot rainbows at bad guys using their necklaces and tiara unless you're celestia

He just needs some motivation you know? He's just a chill guy you know? He's a Wonderbolt for crying out loud he's obviously got the skills. They were just messing around with him. I think we're getting closer and closer to Rainbow becoming one though .

Soarin is probably the most easygoing and nonchalant Wonderbolt in the show. He does get upset about certain things he ends up finding out about, such Spitfire lying to Rainbow Dash. He doesn't seem like a complete pushover.

Soarin is totally a Fluttershy doormat

He was completely deceived by Spitfire and Fleetfoot – they lied to his face. He even said – while he was in the hospital – no pony has came by to visit him while he was injured in the hospital (yep he was totally abandoned by his team). Even when Soarin's wing had recovered well enough, he was told by Spitfire and Fleetfoot to stay in the hospital – because they didn't want him back and wanted Rainbow Dash instead (because they thought Dash was the better flier than Soarin)

So yeah, totally abandoned by his team and they tried to recruit some other pegasus to replace him? Doesn't that sting him a little?

And when Spitfire offers him back on the team, Soarin just says yes and goes with it. I was expecting a little more of a fuss out of him

I didn't see anything wrong with what happened in the Rainbow Falls episode :o He is my favorite WonderBolt and he's probably just a really forgiving type :)

We'll this is a tricky question.I did not get it when they did that to him in that episode mabye Sorain just accdeintly got his wings injured and then his wings got a little bit better then he can fly agin.I am not really sure.

Sorain is my favorite since Rainbow Dash and Him loved each other then it became a ship of them then that's how Sorain became my favorite because he looks like the right stallion for Rainbow Dash.Rainbow Dash is my first favorite.

Sorry if I went over topic.

@Pineapple bloom even if we was the type that forgives easily, you'd think something like THIS would be past his limits

Based on Rainbow Falls-the only episode we get to see any characterization from him aside from his love of pies-I would have to say yes.

In the hospital he admitted to Rainbow Dash that NO ONE had come to see him showing that not only did his teammates betray him, but they abandoned him as well and then when he found out that Spitfire and Fleetfoot lied to him so they could replace him with Dash, he forgave them far too easily-even if they apologized he still had every right to be angry.

Even if he as laid back as many claim, it was still shown that not having any of teammates visiting him in the hospital still bugged him when he commented on how lucky Dash was to have such good friends.
