Agent Annie sighed and grabbed the driver by the back of his suit. "Leave the bags here and let me escort you outside." she didn't wait for Dan to protest or the driver and just dragged him outside.

Allrich jumped "Oh my okay...Jin? Jin I know you're out there!". At his request the man stepped in quietly and kneeled in front of Sekel. He placed his thumb between Sekels eyebrows and a cool feeling overcame him. It left Sekel with a very tiny tingling sensation across his entire body and Jin stood. "You can relax for a little while, your gift will come back." Jin said to him calmly.

 

"This is Jin and we are here to help you more than anything else. Trust me, this is my fathers work. I'll explain the saving the world bit in just a little while...we just need to all calm down" he raised his hands. "Okay this is quite a small room isn't it? Why don't we all just move you in and you can all pick your bedrooms? I'll wait here for Ravek to return and...oh Annie will show you in."

 

The Agent had recently come back; holstering her pistol on the way. She nodded and walked past Allrich to open the doors wider and allow passage for the students.

 "Your eyes...Never mind... And I didn't teleport. I... I really don't know what I did" Jack backed up a bit away from the wall and the rest of the group.

Where the hell did I just get myself stuck in?

"Just. Just stay away from me and don't come any closer. Any of you!" Jack began to panic a bit more.

Sekel closed his eyes and felt a calming sensation. "Thanks." Sekel said. He opened his eyes. "Jack, don't panic. It will be fine. See?" Sekel waved his hand and a plasma bolt did NOT fly out of his hand. "All better." Sekel told him with a smile. He walke past the Professor and ... Annie. 'Annie's name sounds like it would best suit a psychopathic girl.' Sekel thought.to himself and as he stood somewhere in the room beyond.

"D-Don't you treat me like a child you... you freak! You're all freaks aren't you! Just like him! Well guess what?! I'm normal! I'm perfectly normal! I go to work, drive a car, and go home each day!" Jack fumbled to pull out his pocket knife he had brought. "Stay back you monsters! I'm normal and you won't get me!" Jack was hyperventilating and panicking a lot more than he just was.

Connor looked over to the guy with the knife and sighed, first hour here and somebody already pulled out a knife, connor walked over to knife guy and slapped him across the face and took the knife out of his hand, then turned around and walked into the room that had just been opened.

"I didn't know we we'd pulling out knives already." Dan said jokingly. He really wasn't that freaked out by this whole situation since he never takes much seriously.

He then saw Conner take the knife away from Jack and slap him. He couldn't help but laugh now. "I like that guy."

Amber put the earbud into her ear, glad that the translation problem had been solved so easily. The rest of what was said tho astounded her. Save the world? How could they expect her to do that? Since everyone else was introducing themselves, she decided that she ought to do so, too.

 

"Um, hi, my name's Amber," she said, nervously. "My power is being able to control the forces of nature, or rather, sometimes control them. Other times, my power controls me. I want to learn how to have complete control over my powers so that no-one has to get hurt."

Nicholas had officially settled in to his usual role of staying in the back and trying not to be noticed. On the one hand, this whole thing scared him and simply the idea of a room full of people like him was unsettling, to say the least, but at the same time, he felt like he couldn't back out after coming all the way here. And anyway, when else would he ever have a chance to learn how to keep his powers from hurting people? So he decided to follow along quietly.

Jack continued to panic about.

"Just! Just stop!" He shouted. And they did. The room was still and silent. Everyone kept a still facial expression. The clock stopped ticking. The maid was still at the door motionless. All that moved was Jack and the clothes on his back. 

"No! No! I'm not a freak! I'm normal!" He backed into a corner of the still room with the look of insanity in his eyes. He stood there in horror for a good ten minutes in his time perspective but less than a moment for everyone else. He sorted through his thoughts trying to reassure himself his strange power wasn't there and what happened years ago on that highway and what was happening now was just a dream. Yet everything happening now was real and he could remember that night perfectly. Eventually reason found its way into his head and he calmed down. 

Maybe this professor can help me? He must know how to get rid of this curse. But he called a gift... Why? 

After a few more minutes of calming himself he decided to return time to normal or at least his perspective on it. He could barely control his ability but it was enough to get him back. Just before he left he plucked his knife from Connor's hand. As he thought the room went back to it's normal speed.

It seemed most present had dismissed his little panic attack. He decided to keep his mouth shut and follow the group,

On the inside, Allrich was a complete mess. He hadn't told them but this was his first time doing this. This particular part of the program had been shut down for some years and was just recently re-opened. His father had made everything seem so easy but these guys didn't even seem like they could be a team. He was embarrassed he couldn't handle Jack's situation better and was quite sure he scared the guy.

He wasn't sure whether or not to leave her there, he paused in the doorway before ducking out; making sure to leave one door open for her.

"I think you should take a special training course with me." Jin mentioned. He wasn't trying to be creepy or anything but he supposed a man at his age offering "special classes" would be wrong to anybody.

While walking along, Fae quietly admired Ambers hair. She wondered is she should dye her hair and then wondered why she was thinking of such things right now. She couldn't introduce herself so she silently walked on.

 

Agent Annie stood before them in a giant room with doors and hallways leading who knows where and a giant sweeping staircase in the middle leading to the second floor. "Basically, the whole mansion is yours. Pick your own rooms, don't care if you choose to sleep in the bathtub. Don't care if you want to be 'roomies', most of you are legal anyway." she paused and thought for a second.  "Okay, so, house rules. If you bring guests you are not allowed to tell them about the facility beneath. If they know or find out, you will suffer consequences. That's it really."

 

"Questions?" her caramel eyes scanned their faces.

@@RunsWithSquirlz, Amber listened carefully to all that was said. When Agent Annie asked for questions, Amber timidly said, "What kind of classes will there be?" She hoped that she would be able to keep up with classes. Since the incident at her school, Amber had not learned anything and feared that she'd be at the bottom of the class.

Ravek kept her ears open, since eyesight was practically useless in this place. She could hear a clicking noise, which was making the warning bells inside of her scream to run away, to run or hide or get rid of the clicking. 
It seemed a little distant when she first heard it, though now it had gotten much closer as the sound was so much louder. 

She was shaking slightly, fear going straight through her, and tears were about to fall from her face. The Further was terrifying, it wasn't a place where she was meant to be, where anything was meant to be, but yet she was still here and panicking

Then suddenly, Ravek was back in the real world, and instantly she had to hid her eyes. Ravek made a small pain filled noise, before she took one hand on a searching mission to find her glasses, which she did easily enough. 
When she got them on, she could see that she was back in the room she started in, though everyone had left from what she could see

Allrich answered her on this one. "There will be training courses where you learn to use your power and how to defend yourselves. Extra courses about our genealogy. And any classes you had before or would like to take all you have to do is send in a request. Most of us are college level yes?"

@@RunsWithSquirlz, Amber blushed, and replied, miserably, "I'm not. I had to leave school after... after the incident when my powers came out. The school was hit by a hurricane that came when my powers just appeared, when these girls were shoving me around, and the school was destroyed. I haven't been to school since."

He gently patted her shoulder. "You are not alone...but I am here to help you so things like that don't happen anymore. Don't worry, you'll make up the credit and more." Allrich smiled down at her "Amazing...I mean your powers! Imagine the good you can do with your gift."

@@RunsWithSquirlz, Amber looked unhappily at him. "Gift?" she replied. "It seems more like a curse. Ever since that day, I've always dreaded my powers coming out like that again. I'm just not strong enough to control such a terrible power. I suppose I'm lucky that I didn't grow up somewhere else, where they'd probably call me a witch."

That got Nicholas' attention. "I know how you feel. Every time my powers show up I nearly kill someone. I've been living in fear of them my whole life. I'm willing to try to learn so I can suppress my powers, but to actually do good with them? I just don't see that happening."

Ravek started to breakdown, she had just gone through an adrenaline rush that was making her shake and shiver, while the fear she just felt and was partly still feeling made her to start to cry. 
She dropped her knife onto the ground,  then followed it by crouching on the ground and eventually ended up just sitting on the floor. She curled up into a ball, the left over fear consuming her while she cried and shivered and shaked. 
She was alone, though the clicking sounds were still whirling in her head, everything had gone wrong for her today, and now she was just trying to cope. She had no idea whether her pain would come, whether or not she would start seeing things again, or whether anything was real or not. 
There was always a thin line between what was real and what wasn't for Ravek, though she could never see that line.

@@Alex Kennedy, @@RunsWithSquirlz, Amber smiled rather shakily at Nicolas. "It's good to meet someone who understands," she said, feeling a little happier. "I know people have been hurt by my powers, and I really feel bad about it, but they control me, not the other way round. I'd be content if I could just learn to keep them under control, let alone do anything good with them, which I don't believe is even possible."

He nodded, a small smile appearing on his face. "Exactly. I've caused enough pain with my powers that I find it hard to believe they're capable of anything else. It's good to know that at least I'm not the only one who feels that way, though. I'm used to being alone."

Emi had been hovering on the edge of the group until the girl reappeared - she looked concerned about something - upset even. And she had dropped something too...

 

Picking up the knife, Emi allowed herself to phase out of existence as she had learned to - becoming ghostly and intangible and taking the sharp blade with her so that it couldn't cause any harm.

 

"Are you okay?" She asked - voice distorted a little in her unearthly state. "It's okay - I'm here. Who're you? Where did you go?"

 

Pausing, she added "It's okay if you don't want to talk."

Sekel listened to the conversation between the guy from New York and Amber. He rubbed his temple and thought about something. "I got a question. With all this talk of powers, uh, are we going to demonstrate our powers?" Sekel asked. He wasn't even sure if there even will be a demonstration.

@@Alex Kennedy, "So am I," Amber replied. "I didn't dare to show my face around after the incident. I was scared that someone would take me to jail or something like that."

 

@, When Sekel made the suggestion of a demonstration, Amber shivered a little. Sure, part of her did want to show off what she could do, but she didn't want anyone to get hurt. Maybe tho, if a demonstration was required, she could just do something gentle like a snow shower or to make the sun shine instead of the clouded sky. That would be simple enough and there'd be no risk of her powers taking over.

Ravek looked up at the strange girl next to her, she looked like a girl but she didn't seem right, almost like she a ghost. And she had also taken away her blade, which made her all the more nervous, it had to be one of them, had to be if it took her only means of defense and was there. 
Ravek had to stay calm, sometimes they were able to get past the barriers between her world and theirs, usually it was because she was in the area and she was the only one that could jump over to the other side.

"D-demonstration?" Nicholas shuddered at the idea. "I'm not so sure that's really a good idea. I don't... I'm not... it's... I just don't even like to think about my powers. And I don't think it would be safe to use them here anyway. The last time they went off indoors... it wasn't good."
