New bad guy for the end of season 4

So, most ponies, I'm sure, have seen this:

But who is this mysterious bad guy? Most fans theorize that this is him: http://bronies.wikia.com/wiki/Tirek

 

Which makes sense because of the whole rainbow of darkness thing. It seems that the ponies will do battle with him once more, and that we may be in store for quite an epic battle.

 

If this is true, then what does that say about the show?

 

Well, it tells us that in that box is probably the rainbow of light, that will combat the rainbow of darkness. It also tells us that the contents of the box will only be around and useful for as long as Tirek is around. So hopefully the ponies won't be rainbowafied  the entire season. Let's just hope that there's no random unexplained humans this time around.

I hope that it IS Tirek.  Not including Discord, Tirek was a better villain than anyone else in the FIM series.

I really do hope that it's Tirek. It'd make sense for Twilight to need all of the other Princesses powers to defeat Tirek, of all villains.
