Sorry, but if Princess Luna knew everything about the problem that the plot of the roleplay revolves around, then she would immediately inform the others and the situation would get wrapped-up quickly and anti-climatically. I cannot let that happen.

Sorry guys, I had some real-life situations to deal with.

 

Shadow Dancer, I'm sorry; but it's my belief that, unless the roleplay plot revolves around it, there shouldn't be any human characters.

 

The rest of you, I need to do some reviewing and then I'll determine where to go from there.

Don't worry, you're still our main antagonist. You'll just have some other, side-antagonists to work with. Remember, part of the lore is that the stronger descendants lead the weak descendants and get them to rebel against Twilight.

 

My plan was to have our main protagonist fight Maul, have it look like he beat him by stabbing him right in the gut, have Maul pull the blade out of himself, exchange a few words, and then leave; you would then later show up and kick the protagonist's flank since your original character is currently the most powerful in the roleplay. However, it looks like the protagonist didn't take the bait and instead retreated. Ah well.

 

As for what the protagonist and Inazuma has been doing, I didn't read that far yet. I'll have to take a look.

On another note, I've noticed that so far the count is three stealth based original characters and two that use direct combat (one if you don't count dungeon master original characters). Considering that stealth is usually a trait unique to just one or a few ponies in a normal story, this looks unbalanced to me; especially considering that all of the stealth original characters are protagonists while all of the direct fighters are antagonists.

 

I'm not going to force anyone to change their original characters, but I am going to keep this in mind when deciding on what original characters to add in the future.

EDIT: Oh, and I'd consider Roac to be a bit of a mixture of direct combat and stealth. He's not a huge tank and will hide from an army, but he dominates 1v1 fights, like duels and such.

If possible, I'd like to limit everyone to just one original character and limit myself to just the show's characters and minor antagonists.

 

I would like to stay as neutral as possible while still being involved. That way, I can give roleplayers freebies, throw wrenches in their plans, and do whatever I can to keep the roleplay interesting.

First off Solstice isnt direct he is more like a all around fighter meaning he can be trained for all types of attack situations be it ranged stealth or direct but he needs to be ready at the moment also.

I can agree, with this and that would fit in with his history, and I can just Nerf him some. I'll wait for the introduction
