"Nice to meet you, Sne!" Kage replied. "I see what you mean though, and now you mention it, it is getting rather chilly." While he liked cooler weather ok, when exposed to very cold weather, Kage started to feel uncomfortable. It hadn't gotten to that stage yet though. Thinking for a moment, he replied. "I don't know exactly who's in dorm severn, but I do remember meeting another male gijinka for all of five seconds. One of the other students was having a fight with a girl, and this other guy lectured him about the rules as just walked off. Dunno if he would be that roommate of yours though! Wait... you froze the bed? Wow! How long were you asleep?"

"Uhm..." he begun, looking down for a little while, seeming to think. Before looking back up again with a shrug.

"Fifteen... Five minutes maybe? I remember checking my watch, but I my eyes might have been at fault there... It was a quick nap, nonetheless." he finished.

"Let's go then." Rune said, leading the way to the fencing studio. As they arrived, Rune rolled up a few soaked mats and put them on some mannequin stands that had the mannequins removed so they could still be used later. "Alright, so what you'll want to do here is slice at about a thirty degree angle downwards from either side, keeping the force steady, don't let the blade get caught." Rune explained, unsheathing his new blade and deftly slicing a mat in twain. "Quite a masterpiece. You really outdid yourself finding this beauty." He said as he re-sheathed the blade.

She blushes, "Uhh, honey? I designed it based on the measurements from your wedding ring and some basic physics principles. And a little watching. That is a one-of-a-kind sword without a name." She picks up the Egyptian-styled sword and studies it a bit. "Do I want to hit the target with the curved bit of blade, or the straight length near the hilt."

She blushes, "Uhh, honey? I designed it based on the measurements from your wedding ring and some basic physics principles. And a little watching. That is a one-of-a-kind sword without a name." She picks up the Egyptian-styled sword and studies it a bit. "Do I want to hit the target with the curved bit of blade, or the straight length near the hilt."

 

"You designed it? Then it's all the more beautiful for that reason." Rune said, smiling at Synthia. "You'll want to hit with the crest on a Khopesh. The outer edge, since obviously the inside isn't sharpened. The reasoning for that is actually because ancient civilizations modified battleaxes to make the Khopesh, so it's designed to only swing one way, as opposed to the more modern long and short swords that can be swung either direction." He explained.

"Uhm..." he begun, looking down for a little while, seeming to think. Before looking back up again with a shrug.

Apisves stood stock still, eyes wide like a stag in the headlights. That lasted for 5 seconds before he was on the ground, curled up in a little ball, flashing repeatedly and shaking like a leaf.

 

"P-p-please don't do that" Apisves whimpered, squeaking out in pain as the burn took hold. Shed Skin cured him a moment later, bits of flaky white skin falling from his face, but the pain lingered in his mind

"Really? In that quick a time?" Kage cried. "Wow! I wonder how cold the room would be after a whole night!" He guessed that while Ice powers were pretty handy, they could also be a hindrance like that! "So where do you happen to come from then? Are you from the Hoenn region?"

"Nah, I actually hail from just outside of Snowpoint, north in Sinnoh... Nice and cold all year. And lots of other Ice-types. I guess the main downside for me up there is that people like to have warm homes there, and like that I am not often invited anywhere." he said, finishing with a nervous laugh.

 

Like that, a voice called down the hallway.

 

"Seems like we are being summoned... I guess we can speak on the way there, or later... Skills class it seems." he said, before beginning to walk down the hallway. Though after about 5 seconds he turned around and back to Kage.

"Where is it we have to go? I just got here... And have only had the time to see the front, the reception and my dorm..."

[Concerto Dusk 240]

Kenji, arriving late to the school was just wandering around looking at a piece of paper. "Dorm 8 huh? Where is that? And I'm late, why am I always late?" He starts running down the hall towards the dorms, right past two other gijinka, one curled up on the ground. Not really caring about them at the moment, he finally finds his dorm and runs in, throwing his bag on the empty bed.

"If you're going to make fun of anymore pokemon, regular or gijinka, just make sure I'm not around to hear it." Fey said menacingly and quickly stood up. She heard someone call out about Skills class. "It appears that Skills Class is starting. Want help up?" Fey asked sweetly, no longer stuttering due to her stilo being furious with Apisves.

Apisves wasn't even responding anymore, he was too afraid of the fire gjinka. He was sure that by the end of this, he'd have a phobia of fire types too. 

 

"J-just don't touch me" Apisves simpered, doing his best to uncurl. It was hard for him, almost like trying to wake up a sleeping limb

"I see! Wait, Snowpoint? I remember hearing a story about that place... Isn't there an old legend about Snowpoint city?" Following Sne, he stopped and though when the Ice-type asked him the question. "Oh! I... don't actually know!" he replied, feeling equally confused. "Maybe if we meet another student in the hall they might know where we have to go?"

"Why don't we ask those two?" he said, pointing at two other gijinka who had been both talking and practically fighting right next to the the whole time.

 

"Aye... Maybe we should just go to the reception then? Maybe there are someone on the way, or maybe even there who can help? Maybe a map or something?" he said, turning and starting to slowly and slightly unsteadily walk towards the reception.

After finally resting on his bed, he hears about the skills class. "Oh come on, I just got comfortable." He goes oit to the hall and looks around. "Well, I'm lost." Remembering the gijinka he passed earlier, he runs toward them and skids to a stop next the girl. "Sorry for interrupting, but I seem to be lost. The name's Kenji and I wonder if you would be able to help me?"

Fey had managed to calme down by the time Apisves had answered when a boy skidded and stopped next to her. She stepped back and looked at him."Uh, help? H-help with wh-what?" Fey asked and watched Apisves out of the corner of her eye. She wanted to apologise to Apisves now but that can wait until later.

While the black haired gjinka talked with Fey, Apisves managed to get to his feet, unsteady though. He was breathing hard and his body sagged with exhaustion. Part of it was from the painful, burning slap, but mostly it was from fear, him overreacting in a way to the "attack"

"Well, I sort of arrived late. I just git set up in my dorm, thats dorm 8 by the way when i heard about the class. The problem is, I dont have a clue as to where it is. And, uh, what happened to him?" Kenji asks, pointing at the kakuna gijinka wobbling as he stood up. "Is he alright?"

Fey listened to what Kenji said and her eyes widened when he mentikned Dorm 8. "D-d-dorm 8? Th-th-that's my d-d-dorm. So w-we're roommates th-th-then?" Fey asked hesitantly. She heard him ask abiut Apisves and just casually said "I s-s-slapped him b-b-b-because he said thqt B-B-Beedrill were w-w-weak. He's f-f-fine now." Fey said. When he asked about Skills Class, Fey shook he ead. "N-no. Sorry. M-m-mqybe the th-three of us c-could f-find it t-t-together?"

"Well, Beedrill are strong for a bug type, but thats about it. If you want real strength you need a dragon type, like a Hydreigon." Kenji says with a haughty attitude. "And i guess we are roomates, I was wondering who I was living with. By the way what kind of gijinka are you guys?"

Jared heard the PA call for the next Skills class which happened to include him. He made his way to the classroom and took a seat where he could find one and leaned back, fiddling with his rose, waiting for class to start. He looked around and didn't see anyone to talk with while waiting, so he just leaned back and rested.

Apisves stumbled his beaten behind away, sniffling a bit. He looked at the only student sitting there and seized his chance, sitting right next to the other gjinka. Hopefully he'd protect him from the evil fox who had burnt him.

 

"H-hi" he sniveled, wiping his face off a bit so he'd look more presentable

Fey pointed to the retreating Apisves. "K-k-kakuna." She pointed to herself. "N-n-ninetales." Fey said. She looked aroud and remembered where the Skills Ckass classroom was. "Oh yeah! I r-r-remember where Skills Class is! Follow me!" Fey said excitedly and immediately walked quickly away, beckoning for Kenji to follow.

Jared leaned forward so the chair righted itself with a *clack* and said "Oh, uh, hi." He looked at the sickly boy and said. "I'm Jared Desjardines. What's your name?" Jared asked, leaning on the desk and resting his head, trying to seem interested and pass the time before class.

"Well that explains alot. If your a ninetails, a fire type its no wonder the kakuna was on the ground." He starts following her. "By the way, I happen to be a deino, sure its a first form but it is still one of the strong dragon types." Kenji says proudly. "I wish i could evolve though, it sucks being a deino."

Fey slowed down so tht Kenji could catch up wuth her. "I s-s-slapped him twice and o-o-on the second t-time, I m-m-m-managed to leave a-a-a b-b-b-burn mark on his ch-ch-cheek." Fey stuttered, feeling extremely proud of herself for some reason. "My n-n-name is Fey, b-b-by the w-way." Fey introduced herself, remembering to do so. "Y-y-you sure Deinos suck? I d-d-don't think so. Th-th-they may b-be the weakest b-b-but they're still relatively strong."

Catching up he saus, "well O never said that deinos suck, it just sucks to be one. I mean thats because I'm only a first form so even a swinub could take me down. By the way, just so you know, deinos tend to bite thier surroundings, and that is definitely a trait I posses. By the way, my names Kenji."
