Jared approached the desk at the front of the classroom. "Mr. Blade? My ability is basically just growing plants at a faster rate and being able to change their features somewhat. Can I just go outside and do a bit of gardening to practice it? That's what I've been doing for a while anyways. I enjoy it." Jared asked. "I suppose you can do that. Just make sure that if you're borrowing tools from the groundskeeper's shed, you return them. And try not to modify any existing plants please, I'm pretty sure they're the way they are for a reason." Rune replied as Jared left the room to go plant his seeds and begin practicing.

Fey tried to think of a good way to explain what happened before class, seeming that the teacher wanted to help. "B-B-Before c-c-class started, I d-d-did something because I w-w-was angry and when I d-d-did that, I left a b-b-burn mark in the shape of m-my hand. Fey tried to think of a good way to explain what happened before class, seeming that the teacher wanted to help. "That's a start, but I'm more interested in hearing about this 'something I did because I was angry'." Rune said. "I hope it wasn't anything violent. If you want to relieve some stress and it happens to be by hitting something, I have some fencing dummies that you can beat the snot out of, but I don't want you hurting any of your fellow students."

Fey played with the hem of her sleeve as she struggled to decide whether to tell him or not. Sighing, she decided to tell the teacher anyway. Apisves froze like a stag in the headlghts. "She's psychotic! No, she doesn't need to apologize, she doesn't even need to feel bad, just make sure she's far away" Apisves stammered, his head sinking beneath his collar once more. He realized how pitiful he looked and slowly peeked his head out, taking a deep breath. 

 

"I mean....I'd rather not. If we get partners, I'd like to go with Kage or Jared. Fey can take Kenji" Apisves stated, breathing heavily

"P-P-Partners?" Fey repeated, eyes widening. It was bad enough that Apisves thought she was scary but actually partnering up with him!? "O-O-Okay. I'll a-a-apologise and b-b-be partners w-w-with him." Fey sighed and walked over to Apisves. She stopped for a moment near the Ice-type and wondered how he would control his ability. After looking at the sleeping gijinka for a bit, she continued on and stopped by Apisves.

Fey tapped Apisves on the shoulder to get him to turn around. "Th-Th-The teacher s-said we h-h-have t-to work t-t-together. Th-Th-Think of it as a p-p-punishment for me."

"Now now, she's not psychotic. And I won't take no for an answer." Rune chided. "Apisves, it'll be good for you to get out of your shell a little bit, pardon the pun. And Fey, if you really do have anger issues, or you find yourself having any more conflicts with anyone, come to me, and we'll have it sorted out."

He kept his concentration for a little while, before taking a deep breath, a bead of sweat slowly running down his face, until it was completely frozen at his chin.

 

"Am I trying to hard maybe?" he said low to himself. He looked around, noticing the one called Fey, and the other called Apisveps had to be partners for practice. "One more time, but... More calm..." he continued, before closing his eyes to try again, though this time, he slowly dozed off, somewhat worsening the cold.

"Yes sir." Fey replied to the teacher and turned back to Apisves. "Y-Y-You can harden y-your skin as an a-a-a-ability, right?" Fey asked him, seeing if she got the ability right. If he could harden his skin, then it could be a good opportunity to see if she could improve his abilities as well as her own.

"Yeah" Apisves gulped, practically seeing volcanoes erupting in front of the one he feared so much. A part of him wanted to see just what the full extent of her power was. Most of him wanted to avoid her ire. "But it's not going to save me from being roasted by the pyro"

Sitting at his desk, Kenji mumbles an argument with himself, something about biting the teacher. 'It will strengthen your jaw' "shut the hell up, damn, you psychotic freak? I wish I coud evolve so I could veat the hell out of you" 'oh, you don't mean that, after all, you want to grow strong don't you?'

Apisves shuddered a bit at her words before turning away, some skin peeling off from his wrists. He picked at it absentmindedly. It had never shed that much in the past. Probably just his body overclocking from the burn. That must be it. Apisves didn't notice the new skin was a bit tougher than usual

Sne needs a partner and you appear to not have any. Unless you want to work alone. It's also fine if you wish to work in a group of three."

"Ok, you have a point there." Rune noted. "You can work alone. Sne can work with Kage." Rune leaned back in his chair. "If you want the meter back, Kenji, just ask. Or at the very least, write down some things that could possibly help you refine you abilities. Do some brainstorming. You know your powers best, and therefore, will know the best way to hone them." He said.

"I would ask for it, but the damned voice I keep arguing with woukd probably make me drop it before I reached anywhere near half my bite force." Looking around he sighs. "Oh well, at least I don't shed my skin constantly. It could be worse. And little voice, I will now refer to you as mini me."

"D-D-Do you h-h-have any i-idea how you c-c-c-can improve it?"

Apisves randomly thought about himself being set on fire and running around screaming as he healed from it. That was an oddly random thought.

"I guess we're a team then?" Kage said with a smile at Sne. "Let's see how this goes then! So what sort of abilities do your Ice powers allow you to do?" He hadn't seen too much of Sne yet, so didn't know what exactly he was capable of. If he was able to make a room his big start to feeling pretty cold like it was now, he must be pretty powerful with it!

"Nope, not an idea in the world" Apisves lied, turning a shade of white that would have an Abomasnow jealous. He realized that if he didn't test his powers, she'd test hers, which scared him even more. "Actually, you know what, I think I'll just get a needle or something and prick myself"

She looked down at the ground and felt her hair cover her face. "S-S-Sorry!" Fey quickly apologised and tried not to say anything further unless Apisves asks her a direct question.
