How did you find MLP Forums?: I actually decided too look it up, partly out of curiosity & partly out of wanting to make some new friends who share some similar interests

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I started watching a few of the episodes that were recommended after I decided to give this one brony who was desperately trying to get others to stop hating on the show in the youtube comments of a guy named I Hate Everything who had actually watched an episode and, well, didn't care for it very much. He was trying so hard and being so friendly, despite the abuse he was getting, my heart went out to the poor fellow and I decided to give him a shot at changing my opinion

I actually am quite embarrassed about being a fan of the show. Not that there is anything wrong with it, I promise. I just... Well I hate to admit it on the forums that are designed around getting the fans together and all but... I used to be a very outgoing anti-brony... I thought the idea of grown men watching this show was completely stupid in every way possible.. It didn't help that, as a Team Fortress 2 player, I was constantly seeing pony porn sprays everywhere and it just didn't give me a good impression of the community. After I made a few friends who liked the show I grew a bit more tolerable of the idea, but it still seemed strange to me why everyone liked it so much. It wasn't until last week, in the middle of a terrible cold, that I met this brony who I decided to give a shot. And boy am I happy I did. I am too afraid to be open about it outside of a few close friends and now here, but I really love the show. In fact, since I started watching it, I have been happier than I ever have been... Let's just say I don't have the best self esteem... Anyways, I want to formally apologize to all of you reading this right now, I am so sorry I treated people like you for enjoying a show that I had never even given a chance, all because it was bright and colorful and girly... I truly am sorry for any harm I might have caused, and I hope you can all understand I truly am sorry... In the meantime, I would like to hope to meet a few friends on here, and hopefully get a bit more used to calling myself a brony myself, despite my fear of what others might say. If that's ok with you all, of course. Once again I am so sorry, and I understand some of you out there might not like me for being honest about that but... I just wanted to say I am sorry about it... Ugh I am ranting again, I am just going to end it here and say thank you for reading this... Please be honest in any replies on here, I will try and reply as soon as I can if anyone wants to say anything, ok? Thank you, hope I am not a bother while I get adjusted here...

Thank you Destiny, I hope eventually I will come out of my uncomfortable shell and be able to enjoy everypony's company a bit more... I always have trouble getting used to new groups and this is the biggest one after League of Legends and well... That community is not the nicest I have ever been in... So I am a bit suspicious of new groups right now... So thank you for your kind words, it means a lot.

I will let you in on a secret. I HATED the show and bronies. My friend would always go on and on about it. Finally, I gave in and watched some episodes. Turned out that it floated my boat. I always assumed that bronies were gay, but once you actually become one, you realize that most are not gay. Plus, it's easier to pick out a brony when you yourself are one too. I've learned that over the past few months.

 

I answer things really late into a disscussion.. it's an odd habit

 

By the way, I love your little sig and avatar. I dunno how to explain the sig......... ah well.
