Messenger saying who just replied to a PM.

When someone replies to a PM you're involved in, the message will say who CREATED the PM rather than who just replied. For example:

 

( FTW! ^U^ Also lame censoring for privacy. Just in case some wouldn't want their names to be shown )

 

It says my username there, because I'm the one who created the message - but I'm not the one who just replied! It doesn't exactly make sense. I think we all would benefit from the username there being that of the replier, not the creator.

I recently noticed that, and thought it didn't make sense.

I support your suggestion, but I'm not sure how difficult it would be to design something like that. I can look deeper at a later time, but after an initial perusal of the IPS Marketplace I couldn't find any hooks that would do this. So, the developers would have to custom-build one, and I don't know whether or not they have the time or resources available to do that right now. 
 
In the meantime, I don't personally think this is a huge priority. In a private message conversation with just one other person it doesn't really make a huge difference, since you'd already know who you were talking to anyway. However, this would definitely be useful in situations where multiple people were in a private message conversation. That way, people would know who exactly sent in the latest response.
 
However, in the meantime, people can just click on the message to see who had replied.

I agree, that would make more sense, it can def get confusing at times viewing your messages, and instead of seeing who started the topic, you would see who just responded, that way, it's harder to get mixed up.
