Ohh boy. I had a difficult time drawing her head, but finally got it. This took me at LEAST a good hour or so. Here's a drawing of Princess Luna looking sad.

Good drawing btw. I think the proportion is a little off on her flank, but other than that you did a pretty good job!

So yeah I think its good, I feel shading isnt that needed just because you captured her face so well.and somehow it balances out (dont ask)

I really love your drawing, Pinkielicious.

 

Almost everything about the drawing is accurately done. Her eyes, nose, wings, hair, matches up very nicely. The flank only needs working.

The only thing I see is the flank region, seems to be a little small, but overall a great sketch!

Ohh...it's wonderful. I adore luna, and find her, in a way, far more approachable than celestia...more of a figure you could truly admire. Her heavenly charge, the moon, casts a soft, ethereal glow, and is safe to gaze upon...whilst celestia's sun causes blindness, inflicts horrible heat on anybody below, and brings discomfort. I love the night, i love luna, I love the moon...for we have touched the moon, and shall never set foot upon the sun.

 

My words bear truth, everybody. Have you ever stood outside and looked up into the sun, smiling and saying "Wow is the sun so pretty!" without thinking it was too bright, or without sunglasses or protective eye ware of any kind? Ever seen the solar landing? I don't' think so...
