So, I did a MadLibs app in Perl after trying to get it to work in C++
It took about one hour, when the forums were down (using my time efficiently )
It's 217 lines of source code and is pretty basic (runs in the cmd prompt) but it's a fun little project and good practice.

Hey everyone. I had a decent thanksgiving for once. I ended going with a friend to his family's place for Thanksgiving. I'm cutting off connections with my family for this year mostly. Meh either way, I have allot of food to last me this month so I'll be good till next month.
Thinking to renew my subscription here when I can and hopefully I'll have more money for the near end of next month, if it's possible. Living off SSI isn't exactly all that fun. This is part of the reason I avoid Black Fri

Luigi's Mansion
Platform: Nintendo GameCube
Genre: Adventure/Puzzle/Exploration
Publisher/Developer: Nintendo
Oh Luigi's Mansion, what a classic we have here. Well, surprisingly it wasn't that way when it released. Upon the immanent release of the Nintendo GameCube, you can tell many were excited for the new generation of Nintendo, especially after the masterpieces of Ocarina of Time, Goldeneye, and of course, Ma
I'm writing a Rainbow Dash-themed bible. Or rather, I'm writing choice excerpts from an RD bible. xD I'm submitting them in parts at dA and here, and the former will ultimately include a compilation of all the excerpts covering events in seasons one through four.

Across the skies, which were her domain, there spread a Rainboom. And it inspired many. To look up, and to find themselves by way of its vibrant Coolness.

I've been more or less openly atheist since I was probably thirteen years old; that's roughly nineteen years. Though I'm not sure now that I ever *truly* believed. I was told to believe something. Told there would be repercussions if I did not believe. But I was never given adequate cause to believe. Prayer was essentially a ritual I performed in order to ward off bad things. I don't think blind, unquestioning religious faith is healthy, genuine, or productive. If there isn't at least a SEED of
Dear Princess Luna,
What was it like being banished to the moon? It seems like a pretty nice place to be, actually. Being banished there doesn't seem like such a bad thing. I managed to capture an image of the lunar surface through my telescope tonight, and I think it looks beautiful. I would really like it if you could take me there someday.
See? Doesn't it look nice? It's an even better sight in reality, without my cheap camera's grainy blur.
Your faithful student,

So here is the story.
Black Friday actually starts Thursday night which is odd considering the name black (Friday).
All the stores opened at 5PM.
I was first at best buy at 4:30 PM.
The store was packed, but not too packed to get crushed. Best buy was safe and no one got hurt. I got my phone in 20 minutes.
But the big problem was when I had to go to Walmart to get my I phone.
People were literary fighting. There were at least 10 police officers there and even they could not control it.
Before I begin, I would like to take this moment to wish everypony a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.
As we are all aware, the holidays are indeed upon us, and usually that means we often get too see the true generosity, peace and happiness within others. It's the time of year that usually lets us see the best of others.
I'm noticing more and more, that as a whole we are changing, and it's headed in a trend that's not too promising, to say the least.
It seems as if we are becoming les
I'm pretty sure a lot of you know about the over-two-week-old Sonic Boom debacle. If you're a Sonic fan, a Wii U owner, or even a gamer on these forums, I'm sure you've at least heard about it. This is all over one game; Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric for the Nintendo Wii U. This game has suffered a MAJOR backlash, with SEGA not giving out review copies, fans showing off glitches and bugs, etc. But, how truly bad is this game? Does it deserve this backlash?
Let's attempt to answer that question...
Hey guys, a few days ago I was at a garage sale when I picked up a DVD. It had "MLPFiM S3E14" written on it, which was very strange, since Season 3 only had 13 episodes, but since it looked legit, I bought it.
I took it home and put it into the DVD player and when it loaded up it just had static which was very strange but eh. The intro came on and everything looked completely hyperrealistic. Then, the episode started. It started with Sweetie Belle playing on the playground, but without the o
