Hello everypony and welcome to the first forum entry of The Board Gamer Brony!
Basically I have created a blog focused on table top games of all kinds in the hopes that I'll be able spread the awesomeness of the hobby into the brony community. Now I know a lot people out there are sighing since the first thing that often jumps into a persons mind when talking about board games is monopoly.
Trust me there are some fantastic games out there. Games which let you dungeon crawl, build cities
I say this not as a way to separate myself with Kaballah, but as a method to encourage others who are interested in the occult to seek out other forms of mysticism.
Kaballah is certainly a valid form of occult thought; it has been the center of ideologies like Thelema and Judaism, thus giving people access to a form of non-material philosophy which wasn't previously available to the general public.
However there seems to be almost an obsession with Kaballah to the point where we no longer c
Greetings fellow Ponies, Bronies, Unicorns and Pegasus (should that be pronounced Pegasi…or maybe Pegasuses, or perhaps it’s just Pegasus…). Anyway, welcome to the first blog entry of: From a Pony’s Point of View! From the perspective of a normal pedestrian Pegasus, here in Cloudsdale!
See I even created an awesome banner for the blog, and trust me that wasn’t easy to make (computer mouses and keyboards aren’t necessarily easy to use with hoofs).
As I was saying, I’ll be reporting in wee
My Little Pony 'n Friends: The Quest of the Princess Ponies (G1 TV Episodes, 1987, 4x 10 minutes)
Here we are at the second season of the first My Little Pony cartoon. It looks like we're starting of with an adventure-type four-parter.
Part 1
Ponies in conical hats, using magic wands. Those hats are often called 'hennin' now, but they had a variety of different names back in the wide range of period where they were popular. 15th Century-19th century all the way from Western Europe wh
Hallo! It's me again. It's been a while, I'm guessing everyone's voted 1 star for my blog
Anyways moving on. I was wondering what your favorite gaming machine is. You will see the list in the poll, I personally like the PC because you can customize it and you get a lot more games (about 75% are terrible though) I quit out of consoles because I think the can be overpriced but saying that you do get good consoles out there.
A new first for my own blogs. Hopefully I can entertain, I don't know much to talk about sometimes on the forum, because I'm just that kind of person and I still want to keep in touch. Squirrel doesn't plan to leave anytime soon!
As in the title, college pretty much happened. Finally I'm in Thomas Nelson Community College...its about time! Wanting to get a degree in computer science so I know plenty of math will be in my future...blech
Not a fan of math but it has to be done. Only t
It must be clear from people who say me post often a month ago, that I have so much less time at the moment then what I used to have to browse the forums. At one point I was posting many times a day effortlessly and spending many hours enjoying reading all of your topics, but nowadays I seem to have barely any time at all!
Lets face it; I'm struggling with both time management and just a massive lack of time for everything. Currently I am trying to juggle:
1. My course
2. My church/read
In my last entry, I said that an explanation of my therapy would have to wait for another time. Well, it's another time now.
So the reason I'm in therapy is that I have Social Anxiety Disorder. For those of you who aren't familiar, it's pretty much exactly what it sounds like. I can't really describe it very well, except that it basically feels like everyone is constantly watching and judging you, and that no matter how much you try to tell yourself you don't care what they think, you know t
Tonight, I'm gonna have my self a real good time, so just sit back, hole up, crack out those Cornettos, and wait for all this to blow over.
- The movie came about when Simon Pegg and director Edgar Wright realized they both loved zombie movies while making
As such, several cameos by characters from the sitcom (who are all now zombies, of course) seems to imply that this movie takes place within the same universe.
- Shaun used to be a DJ before the movie's events, as evidenced by t
My Little Pony 'n Friends: Rescue From Midnight Castle (G1 Re-edited TV Episodes, 1986, 2x 10 minutes)
Here's the first TV special, re-edited to be part of the TV series. About two minutes have been edited out of this, mostly by removing one song. You're not missing much as the song isn't that spectacular.
This one is a bit puzzling, as they don't change any of the context to deal with the problem of being the first one made, but being broadcast at the end of the first season. Megan and
Since I recently got my only MLP fanfic so far actually published (Doctor Whooves and the Terror of Tartaurus. It took a lot longer to get it through editing and proofreading than I had planned, but *shrug*.), I think I'll talk about the specific worldbuilding I dealt with in the story. This breaks down into some sub-topics:
Tartaurus
Tartarus is mentioned in 'It's About Time' as being guarded by Cerberus and containing many ancient evils, which is pretty much what Greek Myth tells us as
Hard on the heels of Season II’s music-heavy two-part is another music-heavy two-parter, “The Crystal Empire”. In four episodes and two stories we’ve had something like five or six songs. Not that the songs are bad, but there are just such a lot of them. The episode opens with a report that the titular Empire has returned from a thousand year displacement curse, inducing Princess Celestia to send newly-weds Cadence and Shining Armor there. Although it is not outright stated, my belief is that th
I know I've said it plenty of times. If you didn't know what I meant by it. The here's the definition:

This is one of my favorite songs. Hope you enjoyed.
One question; what is up with Japan and the gaming market. I mean, seriously, almost every game or console we've ever played usually starts out in Japan and released first in Japan. Heck, there are even some games or systems that are only released IN JAPAN. I'm not complaining or anything. I like Japan. In fact, I wish to go there someday. It's just that I spend a lot of my time in the deepest trenches of my subconscious, asking myself questions that really don't have to be answered. Today, this
