Of course I do I rewatch any show I grew up with and some I may have missed out. Once in a while a rewatch one I may not have liked much back then, but know I enjoy more now that I understand what is going on.

So if I am becoming familiar around these parts sorry, but I am new to this, but still this is something I want to do. So I am in the process of a project which I had innotionally planned to do as a comic series. I am still leaning on doing it as a comic series (here it comes) HOWEVER The story of said plot is LOONNNG (at least how I see it) And I add at least how I see it because it seems long to me, when to others it may look kinda long. Anyways this is a project that I have been thinking about doing for a while and want to do it. So first of: What are advice for creating long fics? What I'll probably end up doing is writing it as a fic an then seeing if I want to make it as a comic format, as long as the story is in place the transition shouldn't be too hard. I am already learning on my own, but what are your advice Second: Should I ask someone to look at my plot for advice? What this question means is that say I go to someone (or someone offers) to ask what they think about my story. The reason I ask is that I still want to story to be the way I want it to be (in iter word in my control) yet I still want advice and if changes should be made? So in essence I guess the questions is for advice and if anyone wants to help get my story out there? Any response is always appreciated. Thank you

I probably won't ask for yor services yet, but at least I can ask you some questions if you don't mind. How much information do you think you will need for providing a script? I know you will need some background information and characters and the plot and events that will happen in a scene. I mean I still want to have to story play out like I want it to (but always willing to accept suggestions if they make the story better) and still have some scenes play out in some ways. Sorry I am new to this and am learning on my own so I still have a lot to learn. Also I don't know if you have projects of your own that you are doing and don't want to spend much of your time. It is a long story and I aprechate the help I can get.

So I am making a webcomic based on My Little Pony franchise for FUN Emphasis on the fun part since I don't expected it to make me famous or something That said it is a rather long story (why I decided to do that who cares) and I need a bit of help. Dispite me doing It for fun, I still want it to be decent enough for others to read. I have the idea of how the story is played. I have created my characters and settings. I have have created original characters and settings. I have even given backgrounds to my characters and settings. The story still needs a bit of work, but progress is going great Anyways where I need help on is scripting. I have a general idea on how to do it, but I need help. What I know is that a script will help me lay out how a scene will go and what will be said. It's pretty much important for writing a long story. So anyways are there any tips you can give me on scripting or any help at all?

Okay so I'm planning on making a comic series based on MLP. However the way my story is going it seems to be an alternative universe. Don't get me wrong the characters are still ponies and they work in this new environment. I have put thought into it and it seems like it could work. However my question is, is this alright. You see most try to make a story based on MLP in the same universe. Or a similar variation. They take what is there and work with it. Now don't get me wrong I love what has been produced. I do However If I'm being honest my most favorite fan-fics and comics are in worlds that are either different in one way or different on a huge scale because of an event. Now they still are the same characters and the environment is the same (sometimes), but the setting, or the universe is different. For example one of my favorite comic series is Mauroz Friendship is Magic. It's a human, manga, action version of MLP. I can't do the series justice by explaining it, but I will try. It follow the story of MLP, but it gives it's own twist and own identity. The story is similar I. Some ways, however you can tell this isn't the same story and that it is its own universe with it's own original story. The characters are those we know an love, but their stories are different and thats what got me interested in it. The idea happened after I did a fan image of the MLP cast in Halloween costumes (I do it early so what). Anyways I wante the cats to match monters or creatures with their personality. Then I sarted thinking and one thing led to another. Basically it's an alternative world This is my summary. It's a working progress and it doesn't do much except tell you what it is about. Summary; "The land of Equestria used to be a place of peace. A land without monsters. When Celestia and Luna defeated a Dark Form, they did not realize that his dark energy would not disappear. In his defeat his dark energy transformed most of the population into monsters. His defeat had caused the greatest spilt in history. 1000 of years later the nation is split into two. One one side the residents are not considered monsters and is ruled by Celestia. On the other side the land is home of the monsters know as NIGHTMARES, that is ruled by Luna. Both sides have few residents that strive for coexistence, but it does not seem likely. Both sides hate and fear one another." It's a world where the nation is spilt into two. The mane cast are monster residents (which by the way I picked great monsters they should represent don't worry about that) and they have to live in this world. It's mostly an action comic series I am planning on making. As for violence levels? It's not going to be gory don't worry there. I would say shoen manga action comics violence levels. Okay so I have an idea for a comic series, which I am now at a point where it seems like its going to be a long series. Before I go into detail, here is my situation. I am not planning on creating this series right now. Currently i am in the planning stage. Meaning in coming up with characters, story, etc. I am taking my time to make sure that the story is decent. I don't expect it to be praised, just decent enough that people will like it (in other words decent). As for my art skills (as it will be drawn by me and since it is a comic series I am planning) I am already improving my skills and when I complete my planning stage I should put the look I want. So that's where I am at. My main problem right now is that I need writing tips and advice. I have great ideas and themes, but I never written before. I know that a comic and a written fic are different in some ways but what is your advice. I have had maybe paragraphs which summarizes the scenes (which I think will help on this part) but I need advice on how to tell the story. How to write it is where I need advice and tips. It gave me some new ideas and possibilities @Blique thanks for the advice on looking at lesser know monsters. I found many that while it might not work for the mane six as characters, they could work for other characters or creatures @Buddhist Reaper I had no idea about that series. I'll look it up and see if I can find anything to influence my work.

I don't know exactly but I have a good idea on the world i'm creating). Anyways after reading an Avengers comic where they travel to multiple worlds (was okay story). Anyways what's was interesting about one world was that it was nightmare (or monster) versions of the Heros. Spiderman was a spider creature, Captaine America was a Werewolf, Hawkeye was a raven hawk thing?, Thor was a mummy?, Wolverine was a vampire (not sure how that works). Anyways I wanted to create an alternative world in MLP based on this concept. That everyone (mostly everyone there will be regulars, but that will be in the story) is a type of monster. And I know your probably thinking that it might be a monster high thing but NO!!. What I want to do is create a story in a world where most of the residents are monsters and the conflicts it leads to not only with the regular, but with the diversity of creatures that exist. Who is better? What is right and wrong? Is there a right or wrong? How should things be governed? And I do want to add dark elements, but not to a point that it's gore. There may be dark scences and maybe some cools fights, but not too much. I have some ideas down and it's a working progress right now. So what's the problem? Well there are two. The first is whether I should do this as a fic or as a comic/ Tumbler series. And I know I should make this decision myself, but it's always a good idea to ask for opinions. For visual representation, I'm decent at making my images, though I'm not sure if I can pull of the look that I want. I'm decent and could proably do it (maybe i'm doubting muself and thats no good), but i get a nagging feeling that i can't even though i probably very well could. That said I'll still give it a go. As for it being written, while it may be easier on me not having to draw, I'm not that good when it comes to describing scence or making visual images. I tried, but it was hard. That doesn't mean I won't try to learn or ask for help. I guess what I'm saying is what do you guys think. And for the second one which is the one I wanted more help on. As I said this is a world where that characters are monsters. So naturally the mane six (or most of them) have to be monsters. Here is the thing.... I don't know what Granted I have some ideas already •Rarity will be a vampire (don't see why I need to explain that one) •Applejack for some reason gives me a werewolf. Don't know why but I could see it work. •Twilight would be a necro-Mage, or one that specializes in undead magic. Why? Becaus it fits with the magic and monster theme. And that's what I have for the mane six so far I don't know what the others could be. So that's what I need help on. What did you expect? Even if the person does believe what was they typed it still lacks what I call decisive evidence. No decisive evidence was presented and this it lacked any value. It makes flames it can't back up and bases them on beliefs or minority groups. However like I said it lacked any real decisive evidence an thus I must conclude that the valie o the argument is unreliable
