My story is really pretty simple...I most often use the handle Betadoll. Beta stems from me being a gamer. Doll represents two things - 1) My gender & 2) A doll as in a toy doll, because I am a toy collector. Most people just refer to me as Beta though, so I sometimes shorten it.

I feel like the change gives an opportunity for new avenues in the story and life lessons about maturity, responsibility, and, probably, jealousy. It as if people forget about the part where Twi asks Princess Celestia if she will still be her student and is answered with basically 'yes, but it will be different'. I feel like that is a pretty direct way of saying, "don't worry everyone, everything isn't going to completely change". I guess I really don't mind the change, but if Twi gets reverted back...well, I wouldn't mind that either. The only things I keep asking myself are: 1) How are episodes going to end/will they still end with lessons? 2) How is Spike going to fit in with Twi's new role? -
I don't really think of the 'old' Twilight not making sense anymore. I just see it as pre-princess Twilight and that's that...kind of how I see my Sonic merchandise as either the 1991 retro Sonic or the 2011 current Sonic. Maybe it's different if you are a child that is still trying to roleplay with the toys though... -

How do you feel when you're buying MLP stuff in a shop?

I've never gotten embarrassed for buying anything MLP..or for any toy. Admittedly, I am a girl so I'm sure it's different for male bronies. I used to work at Toys-R-Us and can tell you that there is a very wide range of adult collectors that come from shy/embarrassed to proud for all sorts of toy lines. I personally love talking to any type of toy collector as most of us have very interesting stories to tell! -
I'm Beta and I'm new! (: I was looking around the forums for awhile and decided that I should probably actually make a post & stop creeping. I'm a pegasister in my 20s who lives in the Midwest. I think Rarity is bestpony & will go fangirl over anything Sparity. I'm also a big fan of the pets in the show. <3 Besides loving ponies, I am a toy collector (mostly retro), gamer & free-time blogger. I'm excited to meet more bronies!
