  1. @@Miss Reaper,@@CharChar, Saron gave a small half smile and waited for Ariel to catch up before he continued to climb the stairs of the inn. The Crystal continued to lead her down the hallway for a few seconds more before finally reaching his room. Fishing through his saddlebags for a few seconds until he produced a key, Saronyx put the small object to the door's lock and twisted, nodding slightly at the satisfying 'click' of the tumblers falling into place. Returning the key, the stallion pushed the door open and trotted inwards, leaving the entrance clear for Ariel to follow. Within the apartment was what any would expect from an inn. Walls with a simple, neutral color, with only a calender and a clock adorning their surfaces. The main room was a combination of a dining area, kitchen and lounge. Along the wall to the right of the door was a couch, before which was a coffee table covered by various sheets of paper and a spattering of quills. The dining area was standard Ponyville setting, as was the kitchen. There were two more doorways beyond the main room, one of which a bedpost could be seen beyond. The other led to the restroom, as was evident by the tiled flooring, similar to the kitchen, rather than the carpet of the rest. The 'host' had made a beeline for the kitchen, pushing a kettle bearing a similar sheen to his own crystalline coat onto one of the stove top burners, and turning the nob beneath, causing the orange gem beneath to begin glowing. Saronyx turned back to face Ariel, gesturing at the apartment, "Nothing spectacular, nor anything compared to Crystal architecture, but it serves its purpose. Make yourself at home. Washroom's just over that way." he pointed to the second doorway, simultaneously dropping his saddlebags onto one of the dining chairs. As he spoke, the Crystal stallion moseyed about the kitchen area, evidently searching for something. He projected his voice slightly beyond it's normal volume so that she might hear him, despite his not entirely looking her direction, "Shower's one of those types which has a tub beneath it, and it's pretty straightforward. Towels and washrags are in the cabinet beneath the sink." He stopped speaking for a couple seconds, having found what he was looking for and began pulling the objects from their places with his teeth, not being a Unicorn. Finally, Saronyx turned back to look at Ariel, "Clearly I've put water on for tea," He gestured at the bag of loose tea leaves and the infuser, "If you like, I can make you a travel mug as well. It's black, Earl Grey to be precise. That alright?" He raised an eyebrow slightly in question, stopping his action of opening another cabinet partway.
  2. @@Hypn0ticD,@, As Logan neared the door to the restaurant, he snapped his fingers, causing Ulysses, who had been trotting alongside, to glance up at him. The officer gestured slightly towards a bench near the door, not needing to speak for the canine to understand what he meant. With a pat on the head, Ulysses settled down on the bench, fully content to wait outside as his handler went on ahead. Upon entering, Logan glanced about the interior, locating his colleagues in short order. Seemed like he had been spotted already as well, for both Angie and her Scotsman - who was name Shawn if he recalled correctly - were already waving him down. Aside from them, his entrance caught the attention of a hostess, who promptly stepped over to him with the same smile all of them wore. 'Service with a smile, even if you can't stand it' was the policy all of these places seemed to stand by. The woman spoke, "Just you sir?" Logan glanced at her and shook his head shortly, gesturing with one hand at the wavers, "No, I'm with that group. Just a bit late is all." "Oh, well, go right ahead then, sir." She said, stepping back behind her greeting stand. Logan nodded to her and made his way towards the rest of the rescue party. So it was him, Angelica, Applejack, the Changelings and their Finders, as well as Twilight. Shawn gave him a smug grin and indicated a place beside AJ, stating the fact he'd saved it. Logan chuckled lightly, half his mouth quirked in a smirk as he pulled the seat out, "Good man." He said jovially as he sat. As he got situated, the officer leaned over to AJ and planted a kiss on her cheek, before settling back into his chair, leaving the arm he has stabilized himself with where it was, on the back of Applejack's chair, idly running his fingers through the golden hair lying across her back, "So this is the team then, eh?" He asks rhetorically, "Seems doable." His tone was a good natured one. --- @, "Way ahead of you, my Queen. Been doing that since near we left." Diliges responded, in his usual, contradicting, respectfully impish way. -- Back on the Queen's end of things, the red haired woman behind the thick glass hadn't moved, even when she had been addressed. She merely stared at the Queen for a few seconds more before reaching out and pressing the button to her microphone, allowing her to be heard, "I know who you are," she said, though not harshly or irritably, but rather it sounded almost fond, though she bore no smile, "You could say that I've come here for that reason, yes... But it was mainly just to see you for myself... I am known as Artisan." She leaned on the desk, falling silent once more. It was clear, however, that her eyes were flicking over the Queen's form, taking note of every detail. Eventually, she made a slight huffing noise and stood straight, crossing her arms over her chest once more, commenting quietly, "I can see the resemblance..."
  3. (Oh geez. There is much to be done..) @, Orchestrator crossed his arms, raising an eyebrow at the Queen as as spoke. He didn't respond to her initially, allowing her to speak until it seemed she was finished. When he finally spoke, he started with a chuckle, "You've got pretty good intuition, I'll give you that. But your guess isn't quite right. I know you're a danger, and I know what you are capable of. That's what the American government's lapdog agencies want to grab you for, alongside experimentation. However, that is not why I had my people nab you. I have something a little more personal in mind." He lifts on arm and rolls back the sleeve, before holding it up to the window, "Can you read that? 'Make us whole again', it says. That's why I wanted you here. And your little friends, that you've no doubt contacted by now," he smiles, "I know a fair deal about you and your kind. And not from some silly little kid's show." He lowers his head and arm, sighing slightly before looking back up at her, "You know, we're not all that different, you and me. Not when you get down to it. We've both killed plenty to achieve our goals. We're both deserving of hell. We've even had pretty similar reasons for doing it. Care to take a guess?" He paused or a few seconds more, considering her latest offer more thoroughly before laughing, "Oh my, aren't you an arrogant one? I knew there was something about you, despite being what you are, that I didn't like. Now, you might call me a hypocrite for saying that. Call me arrogant as well, but frankly I don't care. Arrogant people tend not to like other arrogant people. Anyone in their right mind wouldn't like them." He shrugs, "But I digress. I imagined you'd want to try and escape yourself... Notice I left you unbound? I'm not so much an idiot that I would leave the Changeling Queen without bonds. I doubt such an inferior cell could hold the night Queen Chrysalis!" His tone became mocking, "Go ahead. We're all here waiting to stop you once you hit sunlight. And if you make it out far enough... well, I hope you know how to swim. It's quite a long way," he laughs, "Though I doubt you did swim much back home, being full of holes and all. Your kind were cursed, yeah? That's why you look like Swiss cheese in the shape of a bug?" He gives her a cheeky smile before stretching and knocking on the glass a couple times with his fist, before asking, "Have you guessed it yet?" --- @, "Unfortunately, no. It was pretty average sized, to be completely honest." Angie said offhandedly, making sure we weapon was in fact clear, and there was no chance it would accidentally discharge. She became slightly engrossed, toning out most of the conversation until she spied Shawn's hand reaching for the firearm. She swatted it, stating, "You're going to want your full attention for my explanation. Let's wait till you're off the phone." --- @@Pripyat Pony, Diliges nodded to Clare, reaching for the ringing device and answering the call, "Good morning. This obviously isn't Clare speaking, but perhaps I could help you? What is it you were wanting to talk about?" --- @, There were a few seconds of silence from Logan's end, and then an audible sigh, "Queen's been grabbed, huh? That's unfortunate..." The faint sound of clicking keys was audible over the mic, and eventually Logan's voice came through, "Okay... Give me a couple minutes, and I'll be right behind you guys. Pass the message on, and keep safe, alright? Love you, AJ." Upon which time as he would receive a response from the Equestrian, Logan hung up his phone and applied his full focus to the computer before him. It was a simple program that Scott had installed for him on the last visit. While he was conversing with Applejack, he ran the program to get a lock on the signal from Angelica's phone. It found it, notifying that they were on the move, so he'd have to be quick. Logan took a second to transfer the signal to his own phone, then shut the computer and stood, snapping his fingers to get Ulysses' attention. As soon as the canine saw his master leaving the room, he leapt off the couch and followed him. With an air of determination, Logan entered the foyer of the Connery household. Bowen, who was just waking in the door, slowed to a halt, raising his eyebrow at his cousin's defined movements of checking his pistol and ammunition reserves, "What's going on?" He asked. Logan glanced at him, and simply stated, "Queen Chrysalis' has been snatched. Don't know by who, but I do know that she is kind of integral. AJ, Angie and I'm sure some others are on their way to get her back. I've been invited to tag along." Bowen took but a second to register this before he commented, "With only two pistols between the group, those being yours and Angie's? If these people could grab the Queen, you're going to need more than that," he started quickly for the stairs, calling back, "Hold on a second!" The officer nodded, but he was in a bit of a rush. He finished his inventory a minute before he heard Bowen coming back down the stairs. Turning to look at him, he saw the teen carrying two rifles, one the classic AR-15, customized with a red dot acog and laser sight, and the other a Savage Arms bolt action deer rifle. Across his back was a bag of what Logan assumed was ammunition. Bowen motioned with his head for Logan to follow as he exited the home. The officer and his dog did so. Outside, Bowen was waiting for Logan to pop the trunk to his Charger. He did so, and Bowen subsequently placed both rifles, and the bag of extra munitions in the back before shutting it. Logan had made it into the vehicle by then an was already starting it. Upon hearing the trunk shut, he called to Bowen, "Where've you been keeping those?!" "Gun safe in the closet!" Was the response, "It's America, Logan! That's what defines us!" The officer laughed as he opened the door for his dog, shutting it behind the canine after Ulysses clambered in. Logan walked over to Bowen, raising an eyebrow, "You tagging along?" The teen chuckled, but shook his head, "No. The rifles are for you and Angie. I'd just get in the way, and besides, you don't want the group to be to big." Logan nodded once, before holding out his hand, "Thanks, Bowen. I appreciate the help." The teen clasped the officer's hand and gave it one firm shake, "Anytime. You be sure to keep them safe now, alright?" And he released Logan's band. "Wouldn't dream of doing it any other way!" Logan responded as he climbed into his car once more, and started on his way. He had always possessed a eidetic memory for direction, so he needed only glance at his phone to get an idea of where Angie's Ping had gone, and to change course accordingly. He was only about 20 minutes behind them, but if he pushed it just a bit, and avoided traffic, he should have no problem catching up sooner.
  4. @@Hypn0ticD, Despite Stephen's reprimand of his brother, Angie chuckled and provide him an answer, "Can't say I've shot at people in reality. Virtually? Hell yeah. Reality? Biggest thing I've shot is a bear." She fell silent for a few minutes as the rest of the conversation carried on, inspecting the pistol in her hands. Eventually, she dropped the magazine and placing it in her lap. From there, she pulled the slide back and ejected the live round. She caught it mid arc, if only just. She glanced about the vehicle, before gently poking Shawn's shoulder with one finger, "If we're in for a long drive, I can run you through the basics of how to use a pistol properly, if you like. Can't necessarily allow you to shoot it, obviously." --- @, Only one more ring issued before the clear sound of Logan's answering the phone was audible. One second later, the officer's voice came over the line, "Hey, what can I help you with?" --- @, The man behind the plexiglass sheet gave her a facetious smile for a second, before his hand move to press something on the desk before him. A static click sounds out, followed by his accented voice, "Well, it's really more of a room designed to hold crazies... But yes, right now it's more of an interrogation room." He took his finger off the intercom button and just watched the Queen for a few seconds, considering her questions. Finally, he answered, "I go by multiple names. For now, I think I'll just have you call me Orchestrator. As for what I want? Many things. Namely, to know why you have decided to drop in on this world. Why would you ever want to come here?"
  5. @@Miss Reaper, @@CharChar, Saronyx shrugs, "I suppose we could make the library a target, and just point out any sort of landmarks along the way. If something catches Ariel's eye, we can make a stop there and see if we can't think of something to say about it." He chuckles slightly, before glancing at Ariel, then nodding slightly to himself as he worked over a schedule in his head, "Right. Well, that's a plan. But first, Ariel - you wanted a shower, yeah?" He gestures with his head for her to follow, "It's just up the stairs. Come along, amice mi." He strode forward a few steps, then glanced back at the mare and waited for her to follow, "Feel free to wait around here if you want, Break. Whatever you prefer."

  7. (00 posting less than a day after he's supposed to?! What is this madness?!) @@Miss Reaper,@@CharChar, Saronyx subtly bit the inside of his cheek, a subconscious tick he had developed over the years, starting from his wanting to speak out but knowing what it would bring. Now it was just something he did when he was considering a topic or suggestion he was unsure about - such as Break's offer of assistance. He did not want to come off as rude to the other stallion, so he took a second or two to consider the offer before answering, "At the moment, not really. I was just going to lend her the use of my washroom, and probably give her a look about town," he glances at Ariel for a second, before returning his gaze to Break, "I suppose that, if it is alright with Ariel, you could assist in showing the town. I think that between the two of us, we might be able to cover everything, yeah?" The last sentence was delivered with a hint of humor creeping into the Crystal's voice.

I have you permission to get ahold of her anyway you could, so that was fine. Feel free to get her where you're getting her. She is out cold after all) @MelancholicMemory, Before entering the vehicle with Shawn, Angie had tossed her phone to Applejack, "Go ahead and give Logan the call! I'm pretty sure he'll be right on board to helping with this!" --- After having done this, Angie deposited herself in the rear seat alongside Shawn. Outwardly she seemed fairly calm, but it was clear from her facial expression that she was both anxious, and excited. --- (Okay, so a 'few hours' is almost 48 apparently) @, Several hours had passed. They had returned to The Docks, and the subject had been stored in a holding cell. Orchestrator stood up in an observation center of the facility, watching the slumbering Equestrian on a video feed from a camera within the holding cell. She would be waking soon. One of the others within the room cleared her throat to get her boss's attention, "I don't mean any disrespect... But should she be in a straight jacket? To keep her frombtryingto break out? We don't know how powerful she is." All the Scotsman did was chuckle, "We're not an insane asylum. Though the cells may look like that, we don't give a home to crazies," he turns to the woman, a naturally short individual who looked only smaller compared to his tall frame, "Besides, we have her held the exact way I want her to be. Let her try breaking out," he turns back to the feed, lightly tapping a button next to an intercom, "It'll only prove a point to her." A few seconds passed before he waved a hand behind him, "Leave. I want to be alone when I speak with her." The woman hesitated for a second, but eventually she relented and left. Orchestrator watched the Queen as she began to stir. He may just get his clarity.

Outwardly, his face remaine unchanged, still his cheery, amiable expression. Inwardly however, he wore a mask of concern. He wanted to get Ariel out of the public eye. Ponyville was a friendly town, and the poor girl seemed a little overwhelmed, and rather nervous. Needless to say, I laughed. Anyway, on to business: I trust you remember most of Carmus' details from my original request, and Spitfire should be fairly easy considering. Only specific thing I ask for her is that her mane is in the 'down' style, rather than the windswept style she usually is shown with. Whether either of the two are in their formal uniform (like what Carmus was wearing in the original, or what Spitfire has in the Wonderbolt Academy episode), no uniform, or combat uniform (Spitfire's Wonderbolt jumpsuit, and Carmus's armor which may be a bit detailed for a request) is up to your creative license. 17. @, Firefly hums, "I know they aren't. They're not meant to be," he gives another mirthless chuckle, "And your sarcasm could use some work." He remained silent, allowing the Queen her rant. At which time that she was finished, he once again dignified her with a response, "If one of us is the self centered one, I would say it is you. I can hear it in your voice that you are far more confident than you should be. I am doing this for the betterment of the entire planet, not myself. But I would like to know. If you already have a kingdom of your own, why did you come here? If we are so inferior, why even bother with us?" He gives a broad grin, his teeth flashing in the darkness, "First off, I am a man. I would imagine that was obvious, unless that was a poor attempt at an insult. If you are to be so defensive about your relationship with David, I feel no obligation to divulge my name to you. That's my personal life, and is none of your business. You would do well not to comment on it." Firefly gives a sigh after she accuses them of not being prepared. He holds up his rag, placing a hand roughly on her shoulder, "Perhaps we are not. Now, I think it is time for you to take a nap." With that, he clamps the rag over her nose and mouth, the chemical he dosed it with near instantly dulling the senses and inducing slumber. (Forgive that god modding. Just going to move them along a bit. The god modding was necessary to do so. And yes, he did make her sleep. You really think that they would leave her awake on their way home? Illogical.) Not much longer after he had done so, Orchestrator showed up. The dark haired man seemed somewhat irritated, and he quickly brushed by Firefly and started the truck. The Haitian carried their prize and deposited her in the back of the cab and removed the prongs, before climbing in the passenger seat. As he spoke to Orchestrator, he readied a fresh taser and kept it pointed at the Queen, though he did not fire it, "Where is Siren?" He asked. "Compromised," Was the simple answer that he received, "We don't have the time to wait around. The law enforcement of this area will be here before to long, and we have what we came for. She can handle herself, and if any information is taken from her, it will be insufficient." As the Scotsman spoke, he had pulled out and made his way out of the community. They had transport set up to take them to their headquarters upon their arrival. Within minutes, they had transferred to the helicopter, and scrapped the truck. (@@Meteorite, Just have David do his thing to Siren and all that. Orchestrator will have gotten out of there by the time the woman was downed.)

Magic, I will assume, if such a thing were to exist." Firefly remains silent until he reaches the truck, tucked in a impressively secluded corner. He sets the Queen down none too gently on the tailgate. Keeping the taser nearby lest she become active, he pulls a vial and a couple cloths from his jacket, and while he applies the vial's contents he dignifies her question with a response, "Let us just say that we see you as a threat to global security. We don't know your intentions, other than to sleep with one of our number. And until we learn them, you and all your kind are threats." He was utterly sincere in his speech, "What I am is a grunt. His Queen was contacting him and his Commander, and he would listen. Her connection seemed inhibited, if only slightly. Probably the human's methods of suppression. Through the communication be recorded images where she was, as well as her hate for these individuals. He pushed that aside at first. The hate he wanted to feel was his. Cicada responded in the affirmative, and Diliges knew he need not explain himself. He served long enough for them to know how he operated. All he said was, "I can not guarantee their lives will last them should I reach them first... But I shall do my best." Insubordinate? Perhaps. But bloody well worth it. The captain turned to Claire, nodding to her, "It seems the ire I felt directed towards us earlier has been shown to my Queen in a much more drastic way. She has been captured... And we are to do what we can to help her, with or without the ponies. Though we may need their princess to get us there." His demeanor was as cold and calm as ever. Teleportation is a spell beyond a Changeling's grasp, and even if it weren't, I doubt I possess enough connection to my aura to have used it." He clenches his fists , causing his nails to dig painfully into his palms, and blood to trickle forth from the lacerations. He winced, "For the time being, all I can do is sit here and hope for the best. Or I would, were I an optimist. But being a realist, I will instead focus on where they might keep her, and how I may assist in her recovery." -- Angie stepped over to the Changeling Commander, placing a hand gently on her shoulder, "Just calm down, Cicada. Getting yourself worked up isn't going to help." By now the twins had begun to speak, and had gotten an address off of Cicada. Angie's heart dropped. The Queen was in Miami - practically half the country away. Before she could say so, Shawn had searched up the address and stated it was a two day drive, before listing other options. Angelica held her tongue, simply wrapping an arm carefully around the Changeling and directing her to sit on a bed. She wasn't necessarily in shock, strictly speaking, but she was close enough having her standing would not be wise. Now all she could do was wait for an answer to Stephen's question. Setting the taser down, but leaving the prongs embedded in the Equestrian's flesh - for so long as they remained he would be able to zap her as much as he pleased - he knelt, drawing zip ties from a pouch on his belt. He said, upon dropping her off, only a few minutes after Twilight. --- @@Hypn0ticD,@@Pripyat Pony, Diliges hums with slight amusement, "That is precisely the reason I am apprehensive to speak with her." He said, before falling silent and standing just a few feet behind Clare. --- Angie chuckles, "Well, to be fair, the only 'combat' training I've had was my brother and Logan showing me a few things from the police and military training things," she pats the pistol, "That, and just being an American born in some of the cooler parts of the country, but anyway. I could show you how to use one, if we ever find an opportunity." At this point they had reached the car, and though the sound of the door opening had awoken the slumbering princess, Angie still took care to shut the door gently. --- @,@@Meteorite, "That's all very sweet, but I think it's about time we give these two a little taste of the real world, don't you?" Orchestrator says in a bored tone to his two companions over their ear pieces, "I trust that you two know the drill?" "We've only gone over it at least fifteen times." Comes the response from Siren. The Scotsman doesn't bother to give that a direct response. Rather, he glanced out at the dimly lit street. He was unseen from where he was positioned in front of the door. Perfect. Taking the lock-picking tool out from beneath his jacket, he sets to work on the lock. It was a simple feat, one that he was able to do with barely any thought. As soon as the faint click was heard, he smiled, and spoke into his ear piece once more, "Alright. Front door's open. Siren, you ready?" "That I am. Power going out in ten seconds. Don't forget to turn on your eyes." She was referring to their night vision of course. "Remember, our window will start to close as soon as it opens," Orchestrator says, readying his firearm, a silenced Glock 21, and places one hand on the door knob. He didn't plan on killing anyone. But it helped to have a little reassurance. He had a pair of tasers on his belt as well, which were what he truly planned to use. True to Siren's word, the lights that were on winked out within the stated time, and her words came across the headsets, "Show time everyone." And everything began to kick off. Firefly threw an M84 stun grenade through the window to the room that Chrysalis occupied. The device shattered through the glass with little effort and clattered to the floor. As soon as it made contact, it detonated. The device emits a sound clocking in at 170-180 decibels, and an incredibly bright flash. The results of which would include temporary deafness and blindness. As soon as the sound was heard, Orchestrator throws open the door and bolts inside, his mind quickly filling in the blanks of the house's layout to find the room he sought. It was easy, for someone like him. Firefly would wait outside the window for the Equestrian. Siren would filter in soon after to handle the human. Kill him, capture him, it didn't matter. Really all that mattered to Orchestrator was that he knew he had a way to be whole again. And right there she was. The Changeling Queen standing right there in the room. With no hesitation, he drew one of his tasers, aimed directly for the woman's center of mass, and fired. -- Siren sprinted around to the front door, entering and making her way up the stairs(assuming they are on a second floor), the same way she knew that her 'boss' would, her own taser held in one hand, her firearm, a Smith and Wesson Sigma, held in the other. But rather than go to the same room as him, she covered the opposite end, lest the man accompanying the Equestrian show up and turn violent.
  23. So the new episode did kind of screw over the story I've been writing for the past month, but hey. It was still a good episode, and I am writing a 'fan fiction', and what are those but your own interpretations, ideas or opinions?

  24. @@Hypn0ticD,@@MelancholicMemory,@@Pripyat Pony,@@Fireblaze, The Changeling gave Applejack a look that could have read 'I suppose we shall see'. And then the Princess spoke up, stating that all bit the two Pegasi knew. That was true, and to Diliges, it was just as well, "For now, that may be best. From what I've seen, Rainbow would probably behave overly gung-ho to maintain image. We can let them know next we see them. Though the fact we're Changelings may cause just a little trouble from the brash Pegasus." Diliges kept his hands folded. He was glad to be able to excersize his military experience once again. Even if it was this type of circumstance. Pinkie spoke up, asking if they knew how to get back, and Twilight expanded on that question to include the Queen, "My Queen is in a place I believe is called 'Miami'. If you should wish to contact her, speak with my Commander. She should be able to pass whatever you have to say along." It was now when Stephen and Shawn suggested that they disperse, and head out to get sleep. The Changeling Captain nodded, "I would believe that a wise decision. If you have anything you wish to ask, don't hesitate to call, if you need to." And with that, Diliges stepped back over to Clare's side. --- When Shawn stepped over to retrieve Clare's contact information, Angie crossed her arms, staring into space as she thought. She was being expected, and as far as she knew, trusted, to help keep the Equestrians safe. It was cool, but scary at the same time. Shawn came back over to her, asking what she thought. Subconsciously she placed her hand on her hip, just above her XDS, and responded, "I think it's both cool, and scary. Excited, actually. A little anxious, but nothing I can't handle. I think." She shrugs and starts to make her way towards the car, "What about you? What are your thoughts about this?" --- So that was that. The Equestrians had been here long enough to attract negative attention, and now they were being hunted. He wrapped one arm around Applejack without a word, thinking about what he had been told. Finally, he glanced at her and spoke, "Guess there's not much else to do but turn in for the remainder of the night. Do you want me to drop you off at Colette's, or are you going to stick with me tonight?"
  25. Soooo, I have a story on FiMFiction and deviantArt now. http://www.fimfiction.net/story/150787/another-day-another-dungeon , http://00pony.deviantart.com/ Go give it a read, if you so desire. Only the prologue and the first chapter, but hey. I have about 13 or 14 more chapters written, and I'm still working on it.
