Masque waved as he watched her go. "Until we next meet, mon Chéri!~" He said politely. "Well, she was quite interesting...I wonder what the other contestants will be like?" He thought, as he closed the door and sat in a nearby chair, waiting patiently for the fight to start, as he stared at the monitor. *sigh* "I hate technology..." He thought.

Masque shook his head, smiling. "Not at all, mon Chéri.~ You have good instincts. There does, indeed, seem to be something more to this tournament, than what we've been led to believe...although, there is still no proof of such things. We'll just have to wait and see for ourselves. And as for your worries, fear not; I prmoise you that I will not attempt to take your life in our match." He said.

Masque chuckled. "Well, no, I have not met any of the princesses, unfortunatly. I mostly deal with minor royalty, such as barons, dukes and counts, as well as high class ponies, like the ones who live in Canterlot. I make a decent living, but I've always aspired for more...not just money wise, either. Anyway, astronomy is quite intruiging, but it is not my forte, to be completely honest...my eyes have always been somwhere between the heavens and the earth..." he said, trailing off for a moment. He then registered the last thing she said, and raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean, you hope? I dare say that this tournament might have rich benifactors, with abundant influence, but not enough to warrent deathmatches...you'll get home fine, mon Chéri~." He said. He then realized that she may not have been referring to that at all, and felt slightly embarressed. "You...were refferring to such a thing...right? Forgive me, if I came off as overrationalizing, hehe..." he said.

Masque smiled, impressed. "I am fine, as well, thank you for asking. That was excellent! Your pronunciation was wonderful, mon Chéri~. To tell you the truth, though, I have not been to Prance in some time. I have been travelling abroad, in search of...well, lets just say, 'riches'. You see, I am an actor, as well as an acrobat. I don't do sideshows, as some would seem to think, although I am often given the honor to perform in front of royalty, or high class." He said. (Thats cool. I wanna learn French, sometime, lol)

Masque chuckled. "You are welcome, mon Chéri!~ And, though I only just learned of our apparent bracket pairing, I too, look forward to our match~." He said, smiling charmingly. "This girl...she doesn't seem very strong...but, of course, appearances can be deceiving..." He thought, taking a mental note to avoid underestimating her. (By the way, he isn't wearing his mask or cloak right now. He only wears those when he's on a heist)

Masque put down the paper, raising an eyebrow at the knocking on his door. "Strange...I wasn't expecting any company..." he thought, finishing his apple. He got up, and trotted leisurly to the door, and opened it. Upon seeing Starlit, Masque gave her a charming smile and bowed politely. "Ah! What an honor to see you, mon Chéri!~" He said, in his smooth, Prench accent. "What can I do for a lovely mare, such as yourself?~" He asked. (Don't freak out! He's from Prance, and mon chéri just means "my dear", lol)

Masque grinned in delight, happy that he was now officially a participant in the tournament, and that he could have some peace and quite in his room. "finally! Now, to go to my assigned room and rest...and find out who fights whom, first..." he thought, trotting into the hallways, scanning the doors for his number. After a moment of searching, he found it. "Ah! Here it is! Excellent...now, who shall be the first to pummel one another?" He mumbled, taking the piece of paper off of th door to read it, as he trotted inside. "Hmm...that samurai fellow, and a gentleman named Vertic...interesting..." he thought. As he continued to read, he closed the door behind him, and sat down on the bed. Then, without looking, he grabbed an apple out of the basket and began to eat it. "My, what comfy accomidations...whoever funds this tournament must be quite wealthy...I might pay them a visit when this is over.~" He thought, chuckling to himself.

Black Masquerade smiled with anticipation at being allowed entry. "These poor fools won't know what hit them! Just allowing me to enter this little contest practically gurentees my victory." He thought, as he trotted into the testing area. Upon seeing all of the monitors on the walls, above the dummies, he seemed a bit confused for a moment. However, upon seeing the last contestants score on one of the monitors, he pieced one and two together. Masque smiled "Ah! I see...a test of physical prowess, is it? Amusing...shall I begin?~" He said, taking a stance. He then struck all three dummies, in quick succession. The strikes were so fast, they seemed to be no more than greyish blurs, to the naked eye. The scores read, strength: 4/10, speed: 7.5/10, agility: 9/10. Masque seemed a bit dissappointed with the strength results, but shrugged it off when he saw his agility and speed. "I figured as much. Who needs brute strength, anyway?~" He thought, trotting to the sidelines to rest. (Was I allowed to do my own scoring? Also, please don't think Masque is a Gary Stue for getting 9 on his agility test. It only made sense, with him being a master acrobat and all...)

Black Masquerade trotted at a slow pace, scanning the tournaments surroundings with interest. "hmm...pretty big place. I wonder who funds all of this? Whoever it is, thry must be pretty loaded~." He thought, chuckling inwardly. He then trotted up to the sign up desk, putting on a charming smile. "Good evening! Is there any room left for a gentleman, such as myself?" He asked. "I hope I won't have to use my powers to get in...I was hoping to keep my abilities secret, at least until my first fight..." he thought.

Actually, the question mark is Soos. But other than that, I agree with your theory.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that! So I guess she isn't shooting star...the ice, maybe? She seems like she's going to be a key character in the show, from now on, so you would expect her to be conne ted to the wheel in some way... Also, while Bill is known for being random and chaotic, I doubt the wheel was a pointless creation. I mean, not only does Bill directly reference it, but its also been in the show since the beggining! What if all the symbols stand for the key players/heroes who are to stop the apocolypse?

I always thought that Mabel's symbol would be the llama...she often wears llama sweaters a lot, and she loves animals. I personally think that the shooting star more represents Pacifica. What with her proud personality, glamorous lifestyle, and whatnot, lol.

WARNING!!! THERE WILL BE SPOILERS AHEAD!! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!! So, watching the newest episode of Hravity Falls, I was very happy to see Pacifica grow as a character. She stood up to her parents, became friends with Dipper, and even saving the party's guests, beccoming a hero! I personally used to hate Pacifica, but after seeing her recent exploits, and interactions with Dipper, I must admit...I really like her! She's really growing into a more complex, interesting character! And not only that, but she seems to be getting closer to Dipper, more so than what you would expect. In fact, I think they might become a couple! Now, I don't know about all of you, but I totally, 100%, without hesitation, ship Dipper and Pacifica!! The way they interacted with one another, its just so...well, adorable! So, I ask you viewers, what do you make of this shipping? Do you like it? Do you hate it? Do you even care? Well, there are still gonna be some extremely powerful characters in there, to be honest, but in the other 2 rounds, it doesnt matter how strong someone is, so anyone could win.

Honestly? Its mostly because I was afraid of starting a shitstorm of "no MY obscure/stronger anime character is better, and should be the one who participates!!", lol. So, I ended up choosing a mix of popular, powerful, weak, and obscure characters. Thats also why I made 2 challange catagories, other than fighting.

As the title suggests, this is an anime/manga character tournament! I will list 12 anime/manga characters, and it will be up to you, the viewers, to decide who is the best! However, to avoid simple bias, there will be 3 challange catagories to vote for who's the best. The first will be a debate of who has a better personality or character style. The second will be who has the better character design, based on creativity and uniqueness. And third will be a simple question; who would win in a fight? For that catagory, however, there will be 2 rounds. Round one, will be the two characters in their base forms, so no transformations or powerups are allowed. Round two, will be the 2 characters in their strongest form. Rule 1: no being biased. Give the other character a chance, be they your favorite or not. If another character is proven to be more powerful than another, then you cannot simply justify the losing sides victory with a simple "because". Rule 2: give proof. If, during the battle round, you have an opinion of one character's power over another, but no one believes you, don't argue, just give proof. Show scans, post videos, give character quotes; anything but pointless arguing. Rule 3: no arguing. You may debate, and you may defend a character, but please, do NOT start a pissing contest. Debate civilly, or this thread will get locked quite fast. Rule 4: if you must post scans of a manga, and that scan contains spoilers, then please try to put in a spoiler box. Simple as that.
