Uh...I don't have any secret to it, I just happened to become friends with them, not even knowing they were comic book fans, lol.

Idk, they just kinda found me, lol. And thats because they were using a different version. Comic book characters have many different incarnations. Hey, Steven Universe can be random and annoying, true, but its simply not comparable to a cartoon like Uncle Grandpa. Also, SU has a unique, interesting story, and a lot of likeable and fun characters. Its not as good as Gravity Falls, but its not horrible, either. Actually, its quite good, in my opinion. Once you get past some of the more slow or bizzar eoisodes, it gets really good.

TTG was made for the sole purpose of marketing a once quality, popular comicbook cartoon to the very young audiences of today, in hopes of similar results. Instead, we get unfunny slapstick, completely out of character Titans, and a big middle finger to the great characters, story and fans. Bad show is bad. Nice avatar, btw. Gravity Falls is best cartoon!!

Well, I honestly don't know of his adult life or persona. I don't read the comics, yet I know a bit about them and his original personality, due to comic geek friends, lol. In the original comic, he got a normal education and was raised by his parents until he was about 10 or 12, iirc. In fact, his family was rich, believe it or not, lol.

He wasn't anywhere close to that stupid in the original show, or in the comics.

Yeah, there are a few episodes showing them having romantic interest...only for it to end in BB getting insulted and or beaten by Raven, as well as the whole experience being forgotten the nedt episode. Also, Beast Boy may have been goofy or silly, but he was no where near as stupid as TTG version. In TTG, he so stupid that he didn't realize Tara was trying to kill him, even when she outright said it. I also hate it for making fun of BB and Tara's relationship. It just insults my fond memories of the original show.

I don't mind its target audience, or even its design. I hate it because it pisses all over the personality of the original characters, and makes them look like selfish, annoying, stupid douchebags. Example? Raven: she had always been dark and distant in the original show, but not to the point where she literally, and happily, dreams about killing all her best friends. Also, it was also true that, in the original show, Raven always found BB annoying, and seemed to dislike him, but not to the point where you could never tell that she secretly had feelings for him as a friend, whereas in TTG, Raven has no problems telling BB how much she hates him and will never have feelings for him. I hate TTG because it turns the characters who I've loved and have been watching for years, and turns them into assholes. BB is brain dead and selfish, Cyborg is oblivious and annoying as hell, Robin is self-centered and idiotic, Starfire is nothing but Robin's ditzy love interest, and Raven is bland and unlikeable. It butchers their personalities.

I don't hate it because I think its "the wrong way to make a cartoon" I hate it because its gross and mind numbing. Its just personal taste, you know. Some people prefer wacky, silly, slapstick cartoons with little to no rhime or reason, while others prefer cartoons with great comedy, as well as a great plot, a great setting, and great characters, who actually learn a lesson after going through an episode. Its just personal preference, is all. Your right, there is no right way to make a cartoon. And for the record, while I do hate uncle grandpa, I don't hate Clarence...I don't really like it, either, but I don't hate it. But if there's any cartoon that can kiss my @$$ and go straight to Hel, its Teen Titans Go!! That piece of crap is an insult to both the fans of the original show and the original titans themselves.

Gravity Falls!! One of the best cartoons EVER!!! Bewarb of its awesomeness! XD MLP, of course!! Awesome show!! Just behind GF! Adventure Time! Also an amazing cartoon! Steven Universe!! In my top 5 favorite modern cartoons, along with those first 3. And the original Teen Titans!! TTG can go throw itself into the bottomlesss pit!!

I'm still technically half ginger, lol.
