The sad thing is that kind of crap distracts from the legitimate examples of discrimination that disabled people often face as well as alot of the misconceptions about certain conditions that many people have. But some people care more about stirring shit up than anything else.

Sorry to hear that. Being short on sleep doesn't help either.

In theory I could try going to work tomorrow on four hours of sleep. But I planned ahead and took another day off to readjust to East Coast time instead. x)

Anyway, how was the flight back?

It was fine although we were about 20-30 minutes late due to some bad weather enroute. But my roommate and I made it home safely and the cats were happy to see us. :3

Yeah I suppose, I make about $13.55 an hour but I am still miserable. It is not that I am not grateful for what I do have but being someone's bitch isn't exactly an enjoyable experience.

I mean, I could be this company's bitch with a smile on my face if I were making an amount that guarantees me a reasonably comfortable lifestyle (moving into my own home, financing a car better than my current P.O.S., etc.), but in California, a wage below $14 almost guarantees you'll be stuck living with your parents for a good time to come.
