I've seen worse; bullying. At a different forums, I used to think that I didn't need to worry about being respected. That was until I was fiercely shot down when I proposed an idea nobody could see working. My best efforts to stay calm, civil and technical in my argumentation belied the wounds inflicted. When I talked to someone about it, it had turned out that the way I argue; "fortified and backed up" is "intimidating".

So really, all that time those people just needed an opening to tear me apart. And so they did. As I made a last attempt to keep myself open and vulnerable, expressing my hurt, the few responses that I did get were either blaming me for it or a fake smile from someone who I never got along with and was heavily involved in said ragging. And this is why I'm on MLP Forums; hopeful but ever cautious.
