Found this on the Critical Research Failure Page on TVTropes that might explain why Paper Mario games since Sticker Star had practically nothing but Toads for their friendly NPCs:

• The reason why the 8th gen Paper Mario games only have Toads as a recurring friendly species is because producer Kensuke Tanabe thinks they're the only allies Mario has in the main series, and has encouraged his fellow staff to think likewise. Even a quick glance towards early gameplay of several main series games quickly demonstrate the utter falsehood of this belief, with species such as Piantas, Nokis, Jibberjays and Whittles, among many others.

Given that tomorrow is May 4th, I've decided to, for once, participate in a Star Wars movie marathon I've heard fans have been doing every year. 

P.S. I'm going with the 2011 blu-ray box set from before Disney bought them for Episode I-VI, for better or worse. Even in the bad prequel trilogy, I get SOME entertainment. Wish me luck for doing so many movies in so little time.

Good morning, my son!

Good news:

I saw the leaked episodes 6,7,8,9,10,11, and 13. Loved them, but I won't talk about them.

Plus my job today was most enthusiastic than usual.

Bad news:

The Blinds to my bedroom window are broken open, so once morning comes, the rising will shine right in my face when I'm trying to sleep in. So, be prepared for me being uncharacteristically cranky in the morning!

Good news! I'm done with school 'till Mid-February 2018.

Neutral news. For the countdown to Christmas song I'm doing, I'm having trouble knowing what 11 items I'd be hoping for Christmas on day 11 days before Christmas. Any ideas?

Gosh! This day has been very boring for me! Most boring in recent memory. 

Well, at least come Christmas morning, I'll be with family opening presents and my sister would be sharing stories away from home.

Got my copy of Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia published by Dark Horse. It covers up to the 2016 re-release of Twilight Princess, so no info on Breath of the Wild

It's mainly written by writers of a fan magazine so, it's possible some parts of the book are not to be 100% taken as canon. If it conflicts with Hyrule Historia, Historia wins.
