  1. 2949 And that is why I do my obscure commercial watching in the privacy and comfort of my dorm room.
  2. The concepts gave me an idea to make Celestia and Luna's banners separate yet combine-able, but all I could do was draw it on the back of a sticky note, take a picture with my phone, and send it to my email... soo not exactly high quality, but maybe someone can make it cooler? Anyway here that is:
  3. Step 1: Google search for a unicorn/alicorn vector Step 2: Give it a sign, slap on a magic glow effect, and Step 3: BAM! You got yourself a pony with a sign! Edit: Had to fix number thanks to a ninja...
  4. Haha yep, I got it down now, though I still have to use pen & paper to do even the small math. AD7
  5. AAC (Though I actually don't know hex...)
  6. 001100100011011100110011001100002 2730 (I won't lie I used a converter, no way in hell I'm counting out that big of a number the ole' fashioned way!)
  7. Thanks again everyone! Alright, so I'm just going to break down and try Fallout 3 first. Emphasis on the first, as the fact that so many people like NV more, or say get both, I'm definitely going to have to get NV at some point soon after I "finish" Fallout 3!
  8. Thanks again for the help everyone! Since technically Fallout 3 has a near three-fold lead I believe I will start with it, however the sheer amount of New Vegas love shown here makes me think that I'll wind up having to pick it up too at some point in the future! (and something tells me I won't regret getting either!)
  9. There are total opposite opinions about storylines here, so my question is how are they different? Is one game particularly darker and more surreal while the other is more hopeful? I understand that you can be good or bad personally, but overall are there different tones between the global storyline? (if that makes any sense? )
  10. Thanks for the replies so far! I honestly had no idea which would get ahead, but actually knowing why people like each game more is immensely helpful! I like the fact that New Vegas has a reputation system and you can effect the world, but the fact that 3 has good dlc/continuity and open endedness is a good counter. It seems that the quality of storyline is split so far though.. why is this such a tough choice? You managed to sneak that in right before I asked it in this post! Though indeed it is unfair, it actually does seem like a pretty viable option...
  11. First off, I apologize if this is a duplicate/horribly generic thread, but I figured a new one would help more than digging up an old thread that may or may not have the same question as me. Second off, I am a pc gamer, and I will be downloading more than a couple mods. (Though mostly designed to make the game look better, my Skyrim has ~70 mods installed) Alright, so I have been looking up reviews for both games, however that hasn't been really effective since reviews tend to happen when a game is released, not long after there have been multiple patches. I have heard that Fallout 3 is straight up amazing and fun to play, and I believe it. I have also heard that New Vegas is very fun, but it doesn't feel any better than 3, nor does it feel like anything more than a large dlc for 3. Would that even affect me since I never played 3? (Similarly, Skyrim was my first/only elder scrolls game, so I think it's amazing, but it was a disappointment to Oblivion players) Secondly, I keep hearing about how insanely-terribly-awfully bug infested New Vegas is, but again, would this even affect my choice if there are patches (official or unofficial) for the title that fix many of those bugs? In short, do the facts that I'm new to the series and have access to bug fixes mean that I should just go ahead and get New Vegas instead of 3?
  12. I wish I had seen this thread back when I moved into college this year... I met my room mate for the first time that day, I walk in with a big ole' gaming pc, my 360, and a 32 inch flatscreen, ask him if he plays video games and he says no. So I ask if he's played any video games, he's says no, he can't remember, and that if he did it was when he was little. Me: I think no way, so I invite him to play AC Revelations... (I just happened to be making my way through it while waiting to get my Live account back up, so it was just what was in the console) He starts to play and is literally less coordinated than my dad when I got him to play. Now Me: Oh god he wasn't kidding! So I teach him the controls; and for the next 2 weeks or so every time I walk into the room he's glued to the tv playing Revelations like it's the best thing ever! He got pretty good at it, then he just kinda stopped playing about halfway through and hasn't played for a couple months... now I think he just plays a couple flash games every little bit on his laptop... I just don't know what went wrong? Tl;Dr: I pretty much had this experience, and apparently AC Revelations was the wrong choice for a beginning game!
  13. I'll most definitely stay a Brony for a while after the show ends. I'm only in college now, so I doubt I'll ever be the 30 to 40 year old guy with a Luna license plates and rocking mlp clothin.. That said, I doubt I'll ever actually not be a Brony, rather it'll be one of those things that just fades over time. Like how I was a hardcore sly cooper fan when I was younger, to the point where me and my friends would pretty much Larp at recess re-enacting/ making up our own stories, then when I got a little older I hung out a lot on the Sucker Punch forums, and even did some sly cooper themed rp there. Now that I'm older I look back and think how fun it all was, and I still am a total fan of sly cooper, it's just no longer active in my lifestyle. I figure mlp will follow the same course when it ends. I'll still remember the massive effect it had on my life and all the good times with good friends that came from it, hell I'll probably still enjoy watching the show, it just won't be a part of my active lifestyle someday. Oh, and just like I have several sly cooper "keepsakes," I'll probably hang on to some stuff so I can reminisce when I'm older. Unless of course my dreams come true and I am the proud owner of a Rarity themed Rossian Q1 and/or a Luna themed Diablo Gtr... then I'll probably get a pin-up, risque-style Spitfire as a full back tatoo, model my house after Twilight's library, and blast pony swag till the day I die!
  14. A METI message, called the Teen Age Message, sent from the 70-meter Eupatoria Planetary Radar arrives at its destinations, HD 126053 star and HD 193664 star. (Constellation Draco) 2059
  15. The thing the kid wouldn't get is why anyone would want to replace a delectable piece of dead meat with vegetables. *joke* What I said was not actually serious, it was a fake rant because I didn't have a real side to take since I kinda agree with op. Since I'm apparently terrible with internet sarcasm, see posts #28 and #49 for my responses to all others who have thought I was serious. However, kids would totally get veggie patty. When you put an egg patty (yes they do exist) on a bun it becomes an egg sandwich, not an egg-burger; so it makes perfect sense to call a veggie patty on a bun a veggie sandwich.
  16. Because Luna gets revenge! 2039
  17. I missed 1492! I failed you Columbus! Oh well turns out you weren't the first to sail to America anyway.. 1499
  18. *such a high quality jpeg this is*
  19. From what I understand it's just a fun collection of random contained subjects by a governmental agency, almost like creepypasta story collections, except a bunch are random and silly. 1474
  20. I would continue the SCP- string of subjects, but 1472 is a stripclub... 1472
  21. Not sure if it's good or bad but my friends say I look like Alan from the Hangover. But I think I look a bit more like clone wars era ObiWan Kenobi, or Kiefer Sutherland from young guns.
  22. 1467 Lol not so much that I don't want to post as it was I just can't post, like when I just randomly check up the forums on my phone in the moments before classes start. Posting while on the way between classes probably wouldn't work any better since I can't text while riding a bike.
  23. 1465 I don't see why not either, so that could probably explain a chunk of the views.. (I'm guilty of quite a few guest views, and like you said, being the last poster!)
  24. 1463 Sometimes I look back at posts and can't post because I have the last post. Multiplied by plenty of people who do the same and of people who don't post here for given reasons yields a big number of views. This. Also, do views from non-member/not-signed-in members count towards view count? If so that could explain it, a bunch of non-loggers just clicking to see what's up in thread, or how far along it is.
