If I was a famous author, I would publish a book with ten different endings which all went to print with varying degrees of rarity, but not tell the fans about it so that I could watch their confusion as they disagree over how the story ended. Then when they figured it out, I would come clean, telling them that I had released ELEVEN alternate endings and watch them panic again as they all try to find the last ending.

Alan walked into town, quickly making for the post office. He entered, taking off his satchel and pulling out the documents and packages inside. Setting them on the counter, he turned to the mare running the building. "Here's everything. Anything left I've gotta deliver?" "Nope, you're good." Came the response. "Thanks Jones." Alan grabbed his satchel, slinging it back over his head as he walked out the door. He made a straight beeline straight for the saloon, and to his room upstairs. He slung the satchel onto his bed, pulling out the pendant and holding it up to the light. The pendant gleamed and glistened, it's beauty drawing Alan's full attention. Ever since he had put it in his satchel, he'd felt compelled to pull it out, to look at it, to put it on. 'What magic is this?' The longer he stared at the pendant, the more it compelled him, the stronger it pulled on him, reaching, seemingly, into his very soul. He was curious, wanting to put it on, to find out exactly what it was, what it did, but stopped. A part of him began to ring through his body, promoting a single thought. "If I put this on, my life will change completely." The pendant gleamed brighter, as if to answer his statement. Alan dropped the pendant. He didn't know what had made him say that, and he didn't know anything about that pendant. What he did know was that he wasn't about to put it on. Not until he knew what it was, and what it could do. He picked it up, placing it in one of the drawers of his deck, and left his room, locking the door behind him. 'I need to walk around for a bit, clear my head.'

Bethanne looked over at Eric, smiling. "Oh, no, I'm nothing like Nurse Joy. I would hate to just stand in one place all the time, letting a machine do all the work." She turned her gaze upwards, to the clouds. "I enjoy roaming around under the blue sky, feeling the sun on my skin, the breeze through my hair. Plus," She turned back towards Eric. "It feels so great to know that my actions helped a pokémon in need. I wouldn't trade that feeling for the world!" She stood back up, dusting off her knees. "Let's go rejoin the group, shall we?" -
That moment when your computer randomly restarts as you're typing a 1000+ word roleplay post, then when you finally get the page back up, the autosave kept everything.

A small smile stretched across Bethanne's face. "Hello Lurele." she turned to look up at Locke "Hello Locke." She switched to addressing both of them. "I'm Bethanne, and this is...." She pulled out the egg again. "Well, I'm not sure, to be honest. I was never told what it would hatch into when I got it." She was about to turn and ask Eric if his pokémon was still hurt from the battle, when she noticed a small yellow tail poking out of a patch of grass ahead. "Excuse me for a moment." She said, placing her egg back into its spot, and walking over to the tail. As she got closer, she saw it was an Abra. 'Hmm.... It'd do well for me to have a pokémon that isn't in an egg, and I've heard Abra's evolutions are powerful.' Bethanne stepped up to the Abra, pulling a pokéball out of her bag. She pushed the button on the front, causing the ball to grow in size, and readied her stance. Ready to throw the ball, she took a small step back, and lifted her arm. 'Oh!' She lowered her arm, returning the pokéball back to it's normal size and putting it back in her bag. 'It's hurt!' She walked closer to the Abra, and noticed more clearly the gash that had made her stop. It looked far worse up close than it did from a distance. The Abra looked at her, the look on it's face clearly said it was in pain. She knelt down, opening one of the many pockets of her pants, and pulled out a white plastic case, with a red heart on the lid. She opened it, pulling out a small energy root. She tore a bit off, putting the larger of the two pieces back in the case, which then went back into her pocket. She put the smaller bit in her mouth, and began chewing. Her face scrunched up in disgust at the bitterness of it, and after a few seconds of shewing, she pulled out the root bit, which now looked more like a paste. "This might hurt a teeny bit, Abra, but I promise it'll make you feel better." She spread the paste-like root onto the gash, causing the Abra to wince a slight bit. Almost instantly, Abra's wince turned into relief, and Bethanne wiped the remaining paste away, revealing the gash was completely healed. "Better?" She asked the Abra, which nodded enthusiastically in return, and teleported away. -
