  1. @@Pripyat Pony 'Actually, Not too many ponies know of my disorder. Only my parents, the guards, and the people in this Asylum. My parents tried to keep me in solitude from the rest of the world, and as such I never really left my house. On my 19th birthday, I broke free from my parents, and left to explore Equestria. I used quill and parchment to converse with others, and if they questioned, I told them I was born mute. It worked for almost 2 years, until some Canterlot Guards found me out and forced me to speak. Apparantly, it's impossible for ponies to be mute. At first they thought I was playing stupid, but after a week or so, they sent me here.' 'Actually, now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure today's my birthday, give or take a few days. I'll need to find a calendar soon.'
  2. @@Pripyat Pony Keaton recoiled ever so slightly when he read Screwball's reply. Not out of disgust or anything similar, but because the thought of a pony speaking like a dog struck him as... odd. Granted, he was in an Insane Asylum, but still. 'Well that's a bit more useful than me.' He wrote, jokingly. 'You could be your own guard dog, if you wanted!' Keaton almost let out a small chuckle at the thought, but stifled it out, keeping it unnoticable. 'As for me, everything I try to say comes out wrong. Really wrong. Like, I tried to thank one of the nurses earlier today, and all that came out was "Pomegranate." He turned the notebook so Screwball could read the whole message:
  3. As Pinkie sat, lost in her own thoughts, the waitress that served her set Pinkie's meal down on the table. "There you go Pinkie, A Tulip Salad and a glass of Rose Tea." The waitress said. "Thanks" Pinkie replied, and began to eat, slowly. As she did so, her eyes began to scan the diner. A few more ponies had come in while she had been lost in her thoughts: A purple pony wearing a rather beautifully-made scarf, and a white pony with a purple mane that curled intricately. Pinkie paid no attention to the two, as they had both sat at the same table, and turned her head back to her food.
  4. Apparantly my ISP thought it would be funny to not send out a memo they were bringing down their system for the weekend. Either that or ours got lost in the mail somehow. But I've got internet back now. So hi everypony! :D

  5. @@Pripyat Pony Keaton followed Screwball until they reached a couch in the corner of the room. At they sat down, he had already begun his next message: 'Your first message said you couldn't speak, same as I. I doubt we have the same exact condition, though. Would you mind telling me what prevents you from speaking proper? It's fine if you don't want to, I'll understand.' He faced the note to Screwball, waiting for either her reaction or her reply.
  6. I have a Gunscythe. Your argument is invalid. Also, you might want to run.
  7. :D I got accepted for The Elder Scrolls Online Beta!!!! I'm so excited I could explode!!!!
  8. @@Pripyat Pony Keaton read Screwball's note, using his magic to create a reply: 'Sorry to hear that. I'm an only foal myself. I always wanted a sibling, but I never thought that parents would take favor of one foal over another. But this place is nice, isn't it? The way my parents talked about it, I would've thought it'd be something along the lines of a jailhouse, with some torture rooms in the back or something like that.' He laughed a tiny bit inside of his head. 'There's a lot of things my parents exaggerated. They really wanted to keep me in fear of what would happen if my... condition.. became public.' He turned from his thoughts, and added a last sentence to his note. 'Sorry to hear that. I'm an only foal myself. I always wanted a sibling, but I never thought that parents would take favor of one foal over another. But this place is nice, isn't it? The way my parents talked about it, I would've thought it'd be something along the lines of a jailhouse, with some torture rooms in the back or something like that. Shall we sit down? It might be a sight more comfortable than just standing in the middle of the room.' He faced the notepad towards Screwball, so she could read his writing.
  9. "I am ready to meet my Maker. Whether my Maker is prepared for the ordeal of meeting me is another matter. "

  10. Pinkie slowly woke up as the sunlight from the new day streamed through the window in her room. She sat up, stretching a slight bit, feeling the warmth of the sunlight beam against her face. "Oh joy," she said, nonchalantly. "Another day in Ponyville." Her eyes turned, and she began to slowly scan her room. Her vanity remained unusued in the corner, as always; She never needed to brush her hair, as it always stayed flat, and she didn't have any accessories to put on. It would probably have gatherered inches of dust, did she not feel the need to dust it every week or so. She stood up fully, yawning slightly as she travelled down the stairs of the treehouse, into the circular library. She quickly glanced around, checking every bookshelf, making sure nothing was out of place. Seeing everything in good shape, she crossed to the door, grabbing her side satchel from behind her desk as she did so, and walked outside. She breathed in deeply, exhaling with a heavy sigh, and watched as some of the other ponies left their homes and went about their days, a spring in their steps. She began to walk towards the town diner, where she always ate breakfast. As she arrived, she noticed it was considerably less busy than normal. She sat at her normal table, and a waitress came up to her table almost instantly. "The usual, Pinkie?" the pony asked, to which Pinkie nodded. The waitress walked away, and Pinkie began to stare off into the distance, soon becoming lost in her own thoughts.
  11. @@Pripyat Pony Keaton smiled slightly as he saw a pony walk up to him, extending a notebook. A smile spread across his face as he took the notebook via magic, immediately opening it and writing a short message. After he finished, he turned it around so Screwball could see the message: 'Thanks for the notebook! It'll be nice to not confuse people everytime I try to tell them something! My name's Keaton.'
  12. "Yeah, I got a question," Bloodlust said, still on the floor. He had woken a bit before Stardust had started her latest speech, and had chosen to say lying on the floor mainly because he just didn't want to get back up. "Are the beds any softer than the floors? Because I'm starting to get pretty comfortable laying here." 'I'm glad Stardust was able to recast her spell on me. I'm not too sure what might have happened if we had both gone into combat. Though I'm sure Stardust would be able to eventually gain control of herself, I doubt I would have. Too many ponies in the room. Might have lead to a bloodbath, might have led to me being thrown onto the back of a wagon piece by little piece.' @, Bloodlust stood up from his position on the floor, brushing himself off. When he was finished, he turned to look at Stardust, noticing that her eyes were still glowing, although she seemed calm as ever. "Sorry, just trying to get a little humor into the situation. You know I already agree with the plan. My main wonder is simply when the killing can begin?"
  13. Keaton slowly woke from his nap, stretching his legs, and rolled over onto the floor, hooves first. He began to walk around the room a bit, in order to limber up his legs. He soon came across the desk in the room, and saw there was a small side satchel on top of it. 'Oh, how conveinient!' Keaton swung the satchel onto his side, walking up to the mirror to see how it looked. 'Not bad!' As he looked in the mirror, he noticed a peice of paper resting next to the pillow on his bed. 'Well what do we have here?' He walked over to the paper, and began to read: 'Huh, I guess I'm not the only one that can't talk.' Keaton folded and placed the note inside the side satchel, and walked out the door, looking down the hallway in both directions. 'Now then, where's the common room?' After a small second of decision, Keaton decided to head back down the way the guards had brought him. He constantly looked left and right, reading the name plaques on the doors. After a small time of walking, he heard a voice behind him: "Hello deary! Are you looking for something?" Keaton turned to find the nurse from the main entrance standing behind him, a helpful smile on her face. He began to speak his problem, but cut himself off before he did, instead reaching into his satchel, pulling out the note, and gave it to the nurse to read. After a small amount of time, she gave a nod of compliance, handing the note back to Keaton. "If you'll follow me, deary, I'll take you straight there!" Relieved, Keaton placed the note back into his satchel, and nodded at the nurse, who turned and walked towards a side hallway. Keaton happily followed. 'Honestly, this place isn't nearly as horrible as my parents told me. I was expecting a building much more sinister, instead, they treat me like a normal pony!' After following the nurse for a few twists and turns, she stopped before a double door that said: "Common Room" on the plaque. Keaton gave the nurse a nod of thanks, and walked inside. It had quite a few ponies inside already. 'I don't even know what this mystery pony looks like,' He realized, 'And there's too many ponies in here to accurately look for the one with a notepad. Though it couldn't hurt to try.' Keaton began to wander around the room, looking for the pony with a notepad.
  14. Alrighty guys I'm going to go offline for a bit. I'll be on later today, if not, tomorrow.

  15. 'Okay, no idea. At least we've got a warning. A shitty warning, but a warning nevertheless' 'Great, siezures. Not a particularly good sign.' Bloodlust's eyes widened a tiny bit when Stardust's eyes suddenly began to glow. He stood up, and took a small step back, tensing his calf muscles, ready to spring back out of danger if he had to. "Stardust, I'm beginning to suspect this change isn't for the better of us. Just in case, If you attack, I doubt anyone in this room will hold back. I know I wont. The flesh from a burning carcass..." He began to lose control of his words again. Trying to clear his mind again, he spoke: "No... nothing personal..." Bloodlust began to chuckle. Not an ordinary chuckle, one that was backed by a slight frenzy. His chuckle slowly began to turn into a slight maniacle laughter. He threw his head back as his laughter finally burst out of his lungs, the frenzy pushing itself to the forefront of his mind. He turned to another pony, his eyes bloodshot, and began to speak, nearly yelling. @@LittleRawr, "I'M WILLING TO BET YOU'RE NOT BORED ANYMORE!!" His laughter sprang up again, and he turned back to face Stardust, an ever so slight murderous gleam in his eye.
  16. "Not trying to sugarcoat this, I'm just making sure she's still in control of herself. I don't know about you, but usually if an Alicorn, and evil Alicorn at that, loses control, especially in a room full of evil ponies, bad things happen. Though, to be honest, I've never been in a situation like this before." Bloodlust tried his best to keep his calm, but as Stardust continued, he began to feel different himself. "So by that statement, are you saying you have no idea if what's happening could dance through the moonlit stars, or send us plummeting through the endless demise of a filly's broken heart?" 'That's not good. I think her spell is beginning to lose some effect, though I have no idea if she can recast it in her current state! Come on, Bloodlust, try to pull yourself together!' He rapidly shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts, and keep his words clear. "Fits as in the spoiled brat sense, or fits as in the murderous filly rampage sense?" Bloodlust asked, trying to keep Stardust talking. 'As long as we can keep her talking, we'll be able to tell if she loses control. Then we'll know if and when to hightail it outta here, if push comes to shove, that is.'
  17. @ Bloodlust listened to Stardust's responce, grinning slightly as he heard what he so wanted to hear from her. "That's good, Stardust. I can say that I agree with this 'plan' for the most part. The firsthand waiting might do a number on me, but I'm sure I'll be able to get through it, especially if the others can." He leaned back a bit, stretching his legs out in front of him. He then twisted his head to the side, allowing his neck to pop, releasing a few, rather loud cracks throughout the room. He began to speak again, but upon noticing Stardust's changing appearance, his words left his grasp. He looked at the Alicorn host quizzically, his eyes transfixed on what was happening. "I'm uh... not the only one seeing this, right?" He glanced around the room at the others, trying to pick up on what was going on. His efforts unsuccessful, he switched his gaze back to Stardust. 'Is she broken?' He thought, searching every possibility. "Stardust, are... are you feeling alright? You look, eh, a bit different?" 'I really hope she doesn't start singing..... I can't stand singing...'
  18. As Ember continued to walk towards the group, she noticed some of the ponies breaking off and walking onto the train. 'Is it that time already?' She thought. 'I didn't even have enough time to mingle with anypony!' Ember altered her path a bit, so that her destination was the entrance to the car, and quickened her pace a bit. She pulled out her envelope, which she had put into her side satchel before she left, pulled out the ticket, and glanced to it as she walked. "Room 10A..." She muttered, more to herself than anypony around her. "Does that mean I'll be sharing with somepony else?" As she pondered the other aspects of the ticket, she reached the train, walking on board. She didn't look up until she heard a voice talking to her: "Shall I take your luggage, Madam?" The voice originated from one of the staff on the train. "Oh, no thank you," Ember began, "I'll be fine. I appreciate your concern to help, though!" She then turned and walked down the hall, looking for room 10A. Soon, she found it, opening the door to where she would be staying for majority of the trip. "Wow, it's a tad bit nicer than my house!" She said, a bit loudly, talking to herself. As her eyes scanned the room, they soon fell upon a bed. The sight of something so comfortable immediately brought the exertion from Ember's panicked rush into her body. 'I suppose a little nap wouldn't hurt?' She thought, setting her bags down next to the bed as she climbed in, hoping for a nice snooze.
  19. Ember was outside, soaring over Ponyville happily. As she flew, she periodically glanced towards the ground, as if looking for something. Seeing nothing, she pulled a loop-da-loop, and flew upside down over Fluttershy's Cottage. As she righted herself, she saw a faint glint on the ground, coming from a patch of tall grass. She immediately dived towards it, landing with a soft, graceful thud. She sifted through the grass, eventually finding a small silver ladel. Happily, she put it into her side satchel, and flew back towards Her home, where she found Pinkie waiting. As she flew down for a landing, Ember saw Pinkie's face light up. "Didya find it??!" PInkie exclaimed, to which Ember pulled out the ladel from her satchel. "Oh, thank you, Ember, Mrs. Cake would've really had my hide if I didn't bring that back to her! How much do I owe you??" Ember laughed a bit. "Oh, Pinkie, you don't owe me anything," She replied, her voice flowing sweetly like honey. "You're like family to me!" "Really? You sure? Thanks Ember!! Ooooh! Speaking of honey, I think I just thought of a new cupcake recipe!!! Bye Ember!!" Pinkie zoomed off into the distance, towards Sugarcube Corner. Ember let out a small laugh, turning towards her home. With Pinkie being the last client of the day, she decided to check her mail, then take a nice relaxing snooze. She opened her mailbox, and pulled out the letters inside. As she walked into her home, she shifted through the letters. Most were concerning lost items, but as she leafed through them, a rather unusual one embroidered in gold fell to the floor. Ember stopped in surprise, and picked up the fallen envelope, setting the rest on the table beside her. She slowly opened the golden envelope, and read the message inside. "Wait, this can't be?? I actually won?!? Wow, I never thought I would!" Ember pulled out the single ticket that was in the envelope, and began to read it over. "Ticket for the Entropy, huh?" She began to read the details:"Time of departure..." Ember's eyes glanced at her clock on the wall. "Hey, would ya look at that! I'm late!" She said, a bit carefree, and turned back to reading the ticket. Suddenly her eyes widened, and she nearly dropped the key to her trip. "Oh what the Hay, I'm late!!!" She quickly sat up, stuffing the letter into her side satchel, and she began to frantically pack everything she'd need for the trip. "Yes, no, no, yes, yes, no, yes, Gah! where is my brush??" Ember was throwing things left and right, trying to hurry and get packed. "Ah, there it is, get in there!" After a frantic minute and a half, Ember grabbed her suitcase, slung it onto her back via her specially made strap, and the luggage opened, spilling everything out onto the floor. "Oh for crying out loud!!!" She stuffed everything back into her now off suitcase, this time securely zipping it up, and slung it back onto her back. She galloped out of her door, locking it behind her. Immediately she took off, heading towards the Cake Residence. She burst through the door, estatically. "Pinkie!!" Ember nearly screamed. "Yeah?!" "I'm going on a train ride for a month, here's the key to the apartment, tell everyone I said bye, but I'm running late, and I'm sorry I didn't have time for a proper one." "Okie dokie lokie!!" "Thanks Pinkie!" Ember turned and raced out of the door, taking flight nearly immediately, flying as fast as she could towards Canterlot, and more specifically, the Canterlot Train Station. (((Some time later...))) After what seemed like eternity, Ember flew into Canterlot, not slowing down as she raced straight into the Train Station, frantically looking for the right station. Nearly immediately, she found the train, and flew up to it, relieved it hadn't left yet. She took a minute to catch her breath, then tried to find exactly where she was supposed to be. She looked around a bit, and her eyesight fell across a group of ponies, one of whom was holding the same Envelope Ember had recieved. She calmed herself, then walked over, hoping she wouldn't be the latest one to the party. (((OKay, posts up, I gotta go to work though. laters)))
  20. Reference the title, my friend. And I'm not your mother. Unless you want me to be... A motherly figure, in which case I'll try my best, although I will more than likely fail. :3
  21. @Tengu. When exactly is 16pm? XD I kid, I kid. That's actually a very good cycle you've got going. Do you use an alarm to help wake you up, or are you one of those talented people that will themselves out of sleep? :3
  22. Nooooo :# My name's not Jimmy. XD Jimmy Is just the first name I thought of. Though Jimmy and I are in a similar situation.
  23. Yeah, that's not too bad, Kobato. I'm really bad sometimes, staying up all night, or until about 3 in the morning. I'm trying to get into the idea of getting off BEFORE I get on a random YouTube video streak, but no luck. XD
  24. When a big, strong, black guy has a high, feminine voice. O_o
