To be honest, and it may sound a little brutally honest, you aren't going to feel any better until you let go, which the only way to do that is by telling her. And it might end terribly, but at least it's off your shoulders. What hurts is loving someone you know you can't have, but what hurts more is letting that pain build as you hide it. It's going to get worse the longer you wait. My advice is tell her. It's going to hurt, and it might be awkward for a while, but I'm sure you will remain friends if you really want to.
