    I don't understand Netflix. They get arguably the biggest anime (re)release in years, Evangelion, and yet don't advertise it to me on their homepage. Instead I get some shit romcom with Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler.

      I'm sure they do. it's just unfortunate that they don't do targeted advertising for what people actually want to see. I watch two things on Netflix: Anime and MLP. And it's not even my first choice for anime, it's just when I can't find what I want elsewhere. When Disney+ comes out, Netflix is gone.

      my theory is that the live action movies made from anime don't target anime fans, those have seen it before, it's their way of selling the same story to the rest
