  1. Pro: Wonderful music and elements that make for fantastic story telling. Con: The substitution of everybody for every pony amd hand for hoof in lyrics throws people off so I can't really play such music out loud without getting looks. The same somewhat applies to stories.
  2. Definitely too well known as grandma.
  3. I like to think Celestia used to reign over nearly everything, but her rule softened by allowing senior officials to do as they pleased for generations at a time, resulting in a sense of sovereignty and eventually resenting her for not providing aid, feeling abandoned, or a visit decades or even centuries down the line as an overstep for a land that's acted independent all this time. On top of this, native sentient species being subjected to a second class citizen status and we brew a global secession movement, which is largely successful with Equestria opting to become isolationist, leaving us with the Equestria we experience in Season 1 before reconnecting through Twilight's efforts. In this specific instance, I like to think the revolution took place in what is today Griffon Territory, with a near equal population of our felid raptor hybrids and magical equines. The ruling class don't do enough to take care of their citizenry, and we get an uprising just as we've had here. Our "Neighpoleon" arises, wreaks havoc across the land, upsetting the balance of power and so on. He is eventually defeated by a coalition, and the prior monarchy restored. History goes on with two other revolutions, but rather than one of Neighpoleon's descendents being elected president of a republic, we have a griffon take power and bring about a new empire that eventually becomes griffon dominated.
  4. One of the presents I've purchased for my little sister this holiday season is this corn pillow with textured kernels and shuckable leaves. Not much context other than she wanted a blanket and the only "good" picture I had was of her eating a cob so I'm having that printed on one, and I figured this would pair well with it.
  5. Popcorn's popularity in movie theaters arose during WW2 as an affordable alternative to candy when sugar was being rationed. Bet you were expecting something about Bananas!
  6. Black Pepper and Crab flavored Cup Noodles. Bought it while on vacation recently, was trying for the first time. Pretty good, also pretty spicy!
  7. Villains are designed to be entertaining and these days have relatable motivations. Suffering at their hand, hoof, or other appendage is more often a side effect of their actions or the result of attempting to thwart them. It's not personal like the targeting of a bully.
  8. I am the princess of useless information! I may not have the answer you're looking for, but there's a 50% chance that I have a banana fact at the ready.
  9. I like to have a small breakfast, then split the feast into a late lunch and early dinner combo. I can't go that long without eating and I need something to power me while I work in the kitchen.
  10. Veterinary Assistant for 2 years. I mainly wrestle dogs and pick up after them
  11. Gosh, there are so many things to pick from, but the one that is the most impactful to my duties, is my employer telling clients to just come on down and drop their animals off, regardless of what's already been squeezed into an overbooked schedule, followed by one of three things. Him forgetting that he had the animal dropped off, escaping out the building so he doesn't have to work on it, or blatantly passing what should be his case, onto others.
  12. May the fantastic performance brought forth by the man behind the mask continue to inspire fans for generations to come. May we find certainty during times of doubt, bravery when faced with fear, and when all seems dark and lost, find the courage within ourselves to aid others, and provide a light of hope.
  13. I have to say, this has been a wonderful trip down memory lane. My room at my grandmother's was dubbed the "Cowboy Room". Her choice, and I loved it. I upgraded to a loft bed when I turned 4, so my old wooden bed frame that had been painted green went to her house, and was adorned with a traditional quilt made by one of aunts. The nightstand consisted of an antique iron school desk with the fold down seat acting as a shelf for books with cowboys and western scenery. A lamp with a real antler stand and cowboy themed lampshade sat atop, while another of a giant full moon and someone cooking over a campfire beside their pioneer wagon served as a nightlight. The sliding closet door had a wallpaper printing for one of Claude Monet's water lilies under the garden bridge paintings, with the entire thing framed with a vintage decorative window sill. Two pairs of cowboy boots sat by it. The actual window sill was lined with vintage beer and medicine bottles. On old chest contained various toys, while two vintage fruit crates held themed ones including plastic cowboys vs. Indians set, metal revolver styled cap guns, plastic farm animals, and the 1997 fisher price western cannonball Stage coach set as well as a camping lantern. The wall had wanted posters, a tin sign displaying all of the different ammunition produced by Winchester, and a large dream catcher. At one point there would have been a rocking horse, a full sized saddle, and even a wagon wheel. That room hardly changed from 2001 till 2013. Then family drama resulted in her having to sell the place and we could keep little of what had been. I still have some of the items from the room, namely the bottles from the windowsill and the antler lamp that I see everyday, but I keep am eye out for the rest in hopes to partially relive the many wonderful experiences from childhood.
  14. Because shipping can be done anywhere in the country for a low flat rate! Haha! I don't really ship characters though, the closest is when a unique bonding moment is expressed in the story, like heart to heart. Half the time this is just an expression of how far a relationship has grown and doesn't directly imply romance right off the bat, but it opens a window for things to go in that direction. If that occurs, then I nod my head amd think to myself, oh that could be something, and that's it. The only example that comes to mind right now and is relevant to the spooky season, is in the Cartoon Network original mini series "Over The Garden Wall", I thought that Wurt and Beatrice were going to end up together when she returned to her human state, after they began to establish a bitbof an emotional reliance on one another, and shared many interactions I would regard as having been cute. That was all thrown out the window towards the end when they showed us the events that lead up to these characters encountering one another, and the establishment of Wurt's longing for Sarah.
  15. The cap on my orange juice bottle wasn't closed all of the way I guess and it spilled out into my mom's Burberry bag.
  16. It would cost well over a hundred dollars I think to buy all the ingredients for the drinks I'd like, plus I don't know how to make them, so I just go out. There's around 8 bottles of wine in the fridge though for fancy occasions.
  17. I love grilling, but can't stand barbecue sauce, let alone most condiments. That being said, I have a cousin who used to straight up drink A1.
  18. Depends what you mean exactly by TV. I had access to a portable DVD player when I was 8, but I rarely brought it into my bedroom because I would just watch things on the TV in the living room or in my parent's bedroom. Then there was the divorce when I was 10 or so, and I only had access to the player every other weekend after that, and I wasn't staying in a bedroom I could call my own when I had it. At age 14 I had an actual CRT TV but it didn't work properly and wasn't really set up to anything so that was gone within a year, and I was given a used iPhone soon after and could watch YouTube via our home wifi. Half a dozen smart phones and my own service later and that's how I still do it?
  19. Understandably hearing people complain about how little they make, meanwhile they're making more than me, and having to do 3 jobs at my workplace because my boss won't hire anyone he doesn't already know.
  20. Lol, rules Mom's side: 1. Grandma 2. Don't remember the name of my biological grandpa and I've never met him. 3. Big Trouble Dad's Side: 1. Grandma originally, but separation due to divorce has lead me to not calling her by anything or stealing my half siblings label of Nanna. 2. Grandpa Jack, though he passed away well before I was born. 3. Dick First Stepfather's side: 1. Grandma At The Lake 2. Grandpa Second Stepfather's side: 1. Don't remember her name and she passed away before I could meet her. 2. Bruce (This format makes my somewhat unique situation look more confusing I think.)
  21. One day I had the realization that my girlfriend was and is my best friend. I absolutely look forward to marrying her one day.
  22. Left, because I'm in an apartment, and I'm in an end unit, so no one to move in with.
  23. My privacy hasn't ever really been fully up to me because my mother is a public figure. Not loving with her anymore as an adult means I don't have people coming up to my own home all of the time, but it really wouldn't be that difficult to contact me. I don't give out my address and contact info, buy I have my real name and pictures in some places. I really just try to limit my interactions I guess. Not much in terms of "rules".
  24. @Courageous Thunder Dash That's interesting, because one of my rules is to bring extra cash. Also bring a pocket knife, pen, toilet paper, and wet wipes.
