  1. I'm going to say SpongeBob B.C., in part due to the marketing for it. I was so hyped to watch it live. There's something special to those early specials, especially since they don't get run as often as other episodes.
  2. Half of Ashleigh Ball's paycheck would've gone towards Accordian SFX
  3. Jay, someone already calls me this. Scott, middle name, someone else calls me this occasionally. Sharp, my name here. Dan, what I go by online. Devin, my mom wanted this to be my name.
  4. My favorite part is after all of the leaves have fallen, and the bare bone branches and brambles let you see into the woods after the fog has lifted. Calm, quiet, perfect porch weather.
  5. When I start a movie, I'm not getting up in the middle of it. I've reserved my time, body and mind towards enjoying this medium, and I will not have interruptions. I also don't like reflections on my screen, and if it's too bright, I adjust the brightness, so no need to have lights on. That being said, my girlfriend might need to get up, and the cat may want to pounce because this is his room too. Luckily I can have it be nearly completely dark in my corner of the bed, while leaving the bathroom light on for everyone else to see where they need to.
  6. No, it's been sneezed on several times by cats. If someone dared you to hide a coworkers phone within their personal workspace, would you?
  7. If they start kicking, pull your finger out.
  8. Keep, but I'm well aware of the struggle and think more should have them. Right turns on red?
  9. It depends, but for musician I'm going to give a bit of a controversial answer and say Yelling at Cats. For Animator, the first that came to mind was D0ubleRainb0wDash Animations on YouTube, but I couldn't remember their name and had them mixed up with Argodaemon.
  10. I'm curious, how do Twilight and Daimond Tiara find out, and does their interaction remain unknown to Sweetie Bell, or does she find out what they did at some point regardless? Diary's can be great devices for exposition or surprise reveals, and as you're doing, an easy way to create a moment of conflict around privacy, respect of boundaries, and betrayals of trust. They can also be overused, particularly in a "children's" setting. One benefit you have as an independent author, is not having to follow tropes to the letter. What I mean by that, is bad acts don't have to have consequences, because that's a reflection if real life, sadly enough. Depending on how it plays out, I find the berating from characters outside of that moment more interesting, but if you're really stuck on that, you can also just have Applebloom and Scootaloo get away with it.
  11. I'm really struggling with this one for some reason. Very little is jumping out at me that makes me go Ooh I almost said ship Serenity from Firefly, but as much as I loved that series, I don't like the design a whole lot? It's iconic, but it also resembles a plucked chicken so,,,? As a filler I'm going to say the Hogwarts Express, but I may come back to this.
  12. @KPackratt A clothing store. Now seriously, where would you go if you were getting married and needed a venue?
  13. Weather (hot in sun) and time permitting, my girlfriend's truck since we both live and work together. Where would you go if you were getting married?
  14. Back in 2011 I thought two of my friends were pulling my leg when they were telling me to watch it. I didn't know anything at all, not even that there was a series at the time. I vaguely pictured Generation 3 and it's lack of appeal for my demographic, but they said it shared similarities with power puff girls which everyone remembers for being kick ass, so I thought sure, why not. I watched the latest episode, Season 2 Episode 20 "It's About Time" and was impressed, but not sold. They said I had to watch at least 3 episodes, so I watched the first 3, and the potential for lore and actual character development got to me. From there on it was everything pony, with a good mix of other topics I was into. So skeptical, open minded and surprised.
  15. On paper I believe that you should have a clean slate after you've served your time, but that's not how it works in practice. Obviously I won't have someone working in a field connected to the crime, but if their actions were non-violent, it's been at least a few years since they finished their sentence, and they've had a good track record since, then I see no reason not to if they're otherwise qualified. Especially if they were let out early for good behavior. Would you employ a minor during the school year?
  16. It's been some time, and this gives me no real authority on the matter, but I've rated thousands of designs on ponytown, and can say with biased certainty that yours is magnifique! You've followed every rule in the book, and just about mastered the beauty in simplicity. The only adjustment I would recommend, is perhaps brightening the irises to match the warmth of the cutie mark.
  17. Being tempted is different than giving into temptation. A tricky game of never have I ever this is. I'm going to say no, because I did give in and play slenderman, and that's the only game I've played that I think could be considered "bad," lol. Good times. Have you ever been tempted to put something where it doesn't belong?
  18. I used Midjourney for a little bit when it was popping off. They kept having to change their policy for free usage because of how high the demand was. Some stuff people "made" was really cool, but a lot still looked like something out of a dream. I mostly tried to make dinosaurs in foggy scenery. Fun but impractical for the time. Haven't used it since. I wouldn't really count Alexa. She's more of a speech to text search engine with a purchase oriented algorithm. I do say please and thank you to the one we have at work. 70% of the time she sits and listens. 10% of the time she doesn't. 18% she's used as an alarm/timer, and 2% she plays music.
  19. The leaves are turning red, the canopy a warming hue But falling amidst the streetlights, I see another view. For one by one they fall, and in the dark of night they vanish One by one we all, follow suit to that void ever famished. Silently they drift along, forgotten lest their tannins stain the stony path Until that harrowing song, is bellowed by the beast upon the tracks. It welcomes us aboard, when the time has come Entrance is assured, but the exit is only reserved for some. Pointed ears and slitted eyes, look and listen with kneading paws When one steps towards the line, giving the others pause. Surely it's not your time to go, there's more for you to see? I've been told that is so, and that is why they provided a window seat. But what of chasing mice? Sunbathes? Scritchy scratches from those who adore? Those are all very nice, but life had something else in store. Surely when you're gone, you'll be terribly missed? By a great many, but love doesn't stop with the final cuddle, nor the last kiss. In their hearts through tear strewn eyes, a part of me is with them. You're awfully wise they say, for such a little kitten. That's a thought as the train goes by, cars and windows a blur I think of that sweet boy when he was by my side as the tracks hum and purr.
  20. I had an uncle who for years had a a little quarter machine filled with reeses pieces, lol. My favorite are the small cups that are most prominent during the holidays, that cone wrapped in foil. The peanut butter to chocolate ratio is just perfect in it's balance of sweet decadence and that hint of salt. There's more too it than just the classic combo of Cocoa and nuttiness.
  21. War, war never changes. But really @Snow and @ExplosionMare have it down. It's the huge change in narrative that almost always comes with it that irks me. Ignoring the balances of power and being best friends with the most famous group of ponies.
  22. They won't load for me.
  23. Only if it was an area with several young children that they were hanging out in, and were just being an ass and not a tweaker in passing as was so often experienced in my childhood, lol. Would you confront someone for not washing their hands?
  24. it's not just the time of year, but a sense of melancholy from recent events and the tiresome tasks inbetween.
