  1. Yes, but I have 3 catches to this, two being personal and one theoretical. The first is that I'm a very go with the flow kind of person, so even when I recognize that something is impossibly different or out of place within a dream, I tend to just go along with it. The second is that even if I'm in full lucidity, the experience is often short because I tend to wake up. This is good for nightmares where I tend to be directly in harms way, because I can just nope out of there, but bad for enjoyable experiences. And third, I don't think we're in control of whether we get to be in control within a lucid dream. I don't know the official terminology, but while I'm certain the ability to see things within our mind through recollection, imagination, and dreaming all share a connection, they're different processes. Something I'd like to know from others, is, Have you ever have dreams where you're someone else entirely? Have you ever had dreams that last a significant amount of time within them, such as multiple days having passed in their entirety or longer?
  2. This is the only Kelpie I'm familiar with,,,
  3. Oh it's been so long I've had two. The first we got around 2005? Used it for a road trip, and then got it out when there was a power outage and used it regularly after that. It was thin, grey metal, and angular. It opened like a laptop and the player lid within did the same. Definitely had a look for it's time. Then in 2011 we had a different one. Much bulkier, black plastic. The player opened by sliding out. I don't think the battery on it was very good because I remember it having a short cord and we kept it at the end of the couch where it could stay plugged in. My first stepfather worked graveyard and didn't want to hear stuff playing while he tried to sleep, but I also didn't want to stop playing a movie if I went into the kitchen, so we got a set of ear covering headphones with a 30 foot aux cord. He got rid of that one after moving in 2013 or so, and we went back to the oldie which started crashing? The movie would freeze for a few seconds them the screen would turn blue. You could turn it on and off again but I think you could only skip ahead 10 minutes at a time? Plus when it started doing this it often did it with more frequency so you'd be done for the day. Then it started having battery issues as well. Luckily this was around the time I had my first laptop which of course had a disk player in those days. We didn't have internet in our apartment for the first 2 months we lived here in 2020, and phone service was iffy at best if my girlfriend and I were both trying to use it, so I broke out the old laptop and watched my dvds for the first time in a long time. That laptop is now dead dead.
  4. Small toy dinosaurs. If I see some, I have to get them. I just love seeing how accurate they can get some, while others are just fun for classic or weird designs. I mean look at this guy! He's a quadruped with an upright stance and a sail back! That's no Dimetrodon, no modern variant of Spinosaurus! They probably just went, that'd look cool! And he'll yeah it does which us why I spent $5 just to get him out of some random DIY sensory slime kit. Could be an Arizonasaurus, but I didn't know what that was till today, so I highly doubt whoever designed him did either. If I'm wrong on that though, major props! Also my go to rant if needed is how to properly make PB&J, and make it the best possible way. I have over a hundred ideas for things to be done with them. But I'm obsessive in general so just get my attention on something and I'll go off.
  5. Are you ever trying to complete something, but some poor wording, imagery, or even flat out false information leave you scratching your head, or evening riling you to the point of screaming it off because it's just left you puzzled or even ruined the task at hand? Hi, not Billy Mays here! If you've ever experienced this sort of excrément de taureau, I'd like to offer this topic as a place to share such instructional shortcomings, and vent your frustrations over them! I'll go first with freshly fiery findings! TLDR; Cinnamon to Sugar Ratio for Cinnamon Sugar should be 1:32, not 1:4. Those nearly responsible for ruining my dish may have the uncorrected version served at their forthcoming memorials.
