Don't let any one tell you what you shouldn't like! I've had people make fun of me at school all the time for liking My Little Pony. I know it's hard... it really makes you upset, I'm sure. But here's what I think you should do. Take your favorite plushie with you to the sleepover, and if anyone makes fun of you, try to be nice to them! Show them what friendship is, and what it really means! If they still make fun of you, ignore them!     Well said... well said. Excellent advise and explanation. There's some very valid points there, of which I think should seriously be considered. I especially like your last paragraph, (maybe it's my inner revolutionist-ish thoughts) about banding together both mods and members, and guidance. Things are only best achieved when both groups participate.

    I refuse to let people who are unreasonably foolish get me down. Whether they are popular, silvertongue'd, confident, or 'appear' smart or not. Because no matter how hard they try, intentional or not, I have my own thoughts and standards, and I'll stick with them unless given damn good reason not to.

    Just let me state something about opinions here as you seem so intent on posting you opinion and ignoring others... When you post your opinion, you're supposed to expect people to respond to it, negatively or positively. Stating your opinion for the sake of saying it is like saying "I'm going to shoot this flare into the air, but don't come and help me!" Y'see that bright red got your attention? Yeah it did. Point is, how will you ever learn without listening to other opinions and considering things instead of trying to firmly cling to your own selfish and disregarding thoughts? You ain't gonna go far kid.
