Same with me, when they are drawn to look more like real horses it looks kinda weird to me. Not nearly as cute as the show style Rares. -

Why does it seem Bronies are so against change in the show?

Well, what exactly is the point of staying angry forever about something like this? I can understand why someone might get angry about a change in the show, or something like Equestria Girls, but its only natural for that anger to fade as time goes on. -
Is the tournament thread really that bad? Just read through all the posts, and didn't really see much in the way of hate. Sure some of the Luna fans might be getting a little over-zealous in the support of her, but we have a tendency to do that too. Edit: I see some of the posts got deleted so maybe that's why I'm not seeing it. Rarity and Luna are both wonderful and we should get along.

Thanks Yeah, manes and tails my main problem too. I find it hard to visualize what things like that should look like from various angles without having a base to copy from.

I still have you listed under Rosemary so maybe thats why you didn't see it.

I think I am going to close this request shop for now. I haven't been that happy with how these are turning out, and while it was fun at first, I haven't been having much fun doing this lately. I do agree that it could have made for a good conflict. Going from a student/librarian to the co-ruler of an entire nation in one big jump is a massive increase in responsibility, and it would make sense that some would question her readiness to hold such a position. I suppose its still possible for something like this to happen, and I honestly would kinda like to see it. -
I can kinda agree with that. I don't want her to completely grow out of it, but still I like seeing her make a little bit of progress. The main reason I like Filli Vanilli as an episode is that regardless of whether or not there is any real character development, they did a great job of accurately portraying anxiety. As someone with an extreme amount of anxiety this episode really resonated with me. -
It isn't a problem that has never existed before. This episode as with many Fluttershy episodes deals with her ongoing struggle with anxiety. No, the episode doesn't completely solve the problem, and it shouldn't. What it does do is illustrate the fact that Flutters is slowly making progress in her struggle with a life-long problem. You seem to think that it isn't character development unless her entire problem with anxiety is destroyed in space of a single episode. Such a solution however would be highly unrealistic, and even kinda insulting to those who suffer from anxiety.

How exactly is that pretend development? At the beginning of the episode she can't even bring herself to sing in front of her friends, and throughout the course of the episode she learns that she really does love to sing in front of people even though it is extremely difficult for her. By the end of the episode while she is still reluctant to sing in front of large crowds, she is at least willing to get out from behind the curtain and sing in front of her friends. I do not see how that isn't character development.
