Drawing oc's for other people
WindShear replied to Veil's topic in Photo Finish's Magics (Visual Art)
If you are wanting to practice on peoples OCs, and are worried about people getting upset about it you could always start a request shop. I know from experience, that you will probably end up getting more requests than you ever wanted. Or you could just look around the request guild forums, and try to do things that people have already requested. -

I don't see why anyone would be angry about free, surprise art of their OC. -

do people have problems with you being a brony
WindShear replied to just a luna fan's topic in Sugarcube Corner
No one has really had problems with me being a Brony. I wear a pony button every day at work at Walmart, and while at first I was sure some of the lovely people that frequent Walmart would be an asshole about it, no one has. As far as I can tell, it really seems like most people just don't care, so as long as you don't make a big deal out of it, most other people wont either. -

Which character had the worst reformation
WindShear replied to Shamira's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
I feel that Sunset Shimmer had the worst reformation. Being blasted into goodness by the elements of harmony does not make for a good reformation. Heck I'm not really sure that it can be counted as a reformation at all, as she wasn't reformed, her evil personality was just overwritten with a good one. With Luna you can at least say that she may have been under the influence of dark magic and the elements dispelled that, but you can't even use that excuse with Sunset. -

I'm going to have to vote for pizza, I love pizza, and there is a local pizza chain around here that is really good. :grin2: Now that I think about it, I'm not sure I have ever actually had Chinese takeout.

Congrats Eloquence! I don't think I have ever really talked to you, but from what I have seen you are a great choice for a moderator.

It feels to me like they got their cutie marks at a good time. I don't see why they would disband. The fact that they all got matching cutie marks, and still have a common goal suggests that they won't be disbanding anytime soon. Besides, they are friends. They won't just stop being friends because they achieved the goal that originally brought them together.

When I was 12 or so I broke a glass coffee pot, and I told my mom that I dropped it. Actually I was brandishing a butter knife and it slipped out my hand, and flew through the coffee pot.

I'm kinda surprised at how close this poll is. It always seems like Luna is overwhelmingly more popular. I'm glad to see Celestia keeping up. It does seem like people tend to judge her unfairly, so its good to see that she is getting some appreciation. and Luna wouldn't want her big sis to feel unapreciated!

You can never convert some people into a Brony.
WindShear replied to Bendy's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I think that most of the people that try to "convert" people into becoming a Brony do have good intentions. They have found something that love, and I think they assume that everyone else would love that thing too if they could just understand what it is that they see in it. Problem is that some people don't seem to understand that different people like different things, and when you try to force someone to get into something they aren't interested in, it will likely have the opposite effect.- 64 replies

Which reformed villain was best and which was worst?
WindShear replied to cider float's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
I actually think my favorite reformed villain is Starlight. Although many seem to disagree, I think that Starlights backstory with Sunburst provided a perfectly good explanation as to how she became who she is. Being separated from her only friend due to him getting a cutie mark led her to associate cutie marks with driving people apart, and colored her perception of cutie marks going forward. This eventually led to the creation of her ideology of equality, and her forming her cutie markless society in order to bring ponies together, and try to spare them the trauma she endured as a child. The Mane 6 intervening in her town, in my opinion only strengthened her views about cutie marks seperating people, because as soon as the Mane 6 came to her town bringing with them their ideology that clashed with her own, she ended up losing everything she had worked for, and everything she cared about once again. She then lashed out at Twilight in order to make her understand the pain she had caused her, but when Twilight demonstrated to Starlight what would happen if she continues down this path Starlight finally begins to question herself. In the end Starlight chose to reform herself. She wasn't forced to be reformed like many of the other villains. Starlight was able to fight Twilight to a stalemate, and if she wished she could have continued on her path. When Twilight shows her the devastation that her actions could lead to she questions whether or not what she believes is truly what is best for Equestria, and ultimately decides to try to make herself a better pony As far as the worst, I'm going to go with Luna, and Sunset. While I do love both of these characters, being zapped good by the elements of harmony doesnt make for a very interesting reformation story. -
I would consider myself a Vocaloid fan, though I haven't listened to much lately. My favorite Vocaloid would have to be Miku, and my favorite Vocaloid song is probably Rolling Girl.
