    "Scum you think im so easily taken down?" Inspired pulls around and points the former hos in front of her while forcing her suit to vent behind her, making her slingshot straight into the mechanical griffon, sparks fly as the blades meet the chainsaw. Tangled together, Inspired fires her vents straight on the griffon to pull away, one of the cables is sheared apart in the struggle and Inspired takes the chance to get some range.

    OOC Thread Inppired Winds was hoping this new start will be a great chance to try and fit in, after the disasters first in Cloudsdale, then Ponyville...well she wasnt the most popular pony. Luckily this new town Colts Crosssing has never heard of her, so it was truly a new clean start. Even better the town had a mecanical workshop of sorts, mostly fixated on repairing carts, but Inspired loved anything mechanical, after showing her mchanical skills (not even Inspired can stuff up putting a wheel on an axle) she was hired immediately.

    Inspired wheeled back, the griffon had noticed her immediately! Looking cloer he was a magnificant speciman, so many augmentations...she would have loved to see what made them tick. But looking at the chainsaws embedded in his wings she guessed he wasnt so poilte as to allow her to look. She heard something behind her, and looks around to see the brute from the ambush, flying with mechanical wings. Another gorgous machine, and it looked hoofmade. How could rebels have this tech? Theyre just simpletons who dont know whats good for them, arent they? Troubled, Inspired brought herself back to reality, "Oh shes had plenty to say, such as how she wont be duped by simple barbarians, trust me quit now or you wont have a chance." The mare quickly pulled belts and levers forcing more pressure into the machine, getting it ready for the inevitable battle, the pistons scream as the frontal blades lift and lock. She wont be helpless this time...

    Inspired could see pegasi flying in the clouds up ahead, that wispy dark thing is Old Cloudsdale? No wonder the princess made a new Cloudsdale. The mare could see something metal speed ahead of her. One of the cybergriffons? i thought they were long gone from equestria. Reducing her output Inspired tailed the griffon, ready for action.

    Fully loaded out with her equipment, Inspired was ready to take the fight to these scum who dare disobey her princess. She takes a step, but her hoof falls through the cloud because of her weight, so she adjusts one of the many steam vents, then tries again. The apparatus she wore was originally made to help the earth ponies perfrom their duties on the communal fields, but with a few modifications it makes a very good tool of war. There had been reports streaming in all day into the former weather tower (now guard post) of known rebel movements. Inspired hardly has rank in the Skullcrown army but when a steam spewing, piston driven suit of armour towers over you demanding the latest intel...you give it to it. Inspired looks through it, and immediately sees a pattern, known pegasi dissenters had been noticed by The Watch meeting ponies along a loose line. She would follow this to the so called city of Old Cloudsdale, there she will get the info to find that barbaric rebel. Bracing herself Inspired forces the suit to vent steam at a massive rate, making her zoom off into the wide sky...it wont be long now.

    Well that couldve gone better...but at least i still have my head on my neck, Inspired mused as she picked herself off the floor. One week to find a single pony, who could be anywhere in equestria by now? Inspired took off, too busy in thought to notice how weary her wings are. She flew up to Cloudsdale, the town had changed considerably over the last 1000 years, it was now one of the princess's main armouries. Often the pegasi bombers dragged storms to rebellious towns from this lofty height. Here Inspired geared up at her workshop. She wasnt going to be caught unprepared again.

    "My majesty, i had to escpe so that i can warn you, the rebels are stronger than we thought, they took out your finest easily," at this point Inspired was panicing hard, stuttering over every word, "please spare me, send me anywhere to fight, give me another chance!" The mare looked pitiful sobbing on the floor pleading for forgiveness. "Let me use my talents to fight the rebels, they fight with fire...so will i" the mares voice takes on a steely determination and she lifts her head, "give me the chance for revenge."

    One of the royal guards calls Inspired over and she follows him. Shed often spoken to the master of guards, Hes the one who got her to join the mechanical corp. Inspired suddenly realised she was being taken to thoose glorious mahogany doors. All of a sudden her heart was thumping worse than in the attack! An address with the princess herself! As the doors open Inspiredwalks up to the princess and bows until her head touches the floor. Not changing position Inspired quickly rattled out "Your majesty the supply convoy to the 3rd division was ambushed by rebels, we didnt stand a chance, they were too strong. I couldnt do anything, im just an engineer, i was meant to keep the engine going." Seeing the fury on the feared princesses face Inspired stutters "They were led by an orangy brown pony, he had black gears as a cutie mark" Inspired just cringes, expecting the princess to bellow her dissapointment.

    im guessing a backmounts probs the most feasible, or have it like a saddlebag set up.

    Inspired looked on in shock as the bizarre pony walked away. Hunger? Disease? What on equestria is he talking about? All of the princesses servants are well looked after! Not believing a word of what the rebel said inspired takes to the sky to report the ambush to the princess. She takes a long look back to see if she can see the ruffian, but nopony is in sight. Contemplative, she continues her flight. The flight is long, and Inspired is exhausted from both the bruising in the ambush and the flight itself,but she makes it to the princesses fortress. She asks to see the master of guards and awaits to make her report.

    Inspired cryed out in shock and fear at the maniac laughing over her. So the rebels are as barabric as they had been told! Thinking quickly, she had an idea! "Im a rebel scout, when i saw the ambush i tried to help, i managed to take some of the royalist scum down, but as you can see" Inspired pointed at the grease all over her, "i managed to get myself into a bit of a mess." Besides a tremor in her voice she felt she pulled the act off well considering her heart was pounding like a drum. The only response she could see was the weird pony's grin get wider...

    Well the usage of baby dragons by celestia could have a great impact on the amount of mail that post offices relay. I can see post offices downsizing in equestria. I think shed go to her old removalist job, surely she cant be too bad at it ...hopefully

    Inspired gasped from the smoke as she ran from the ambush with other survivors. The convoy hadnt stood a chance against the surpise attack. She brushed her mane aside, still drenched with oil from when she was trying to get the ponlyless carts engine working. She could see rebels still fighting the other royalists. Shamefaced she trudged away to find help.

    That could work, maybe have a bucking animation each time the pony lands, and have like a kickoff?

Inspired quickly dashes out to see whats going on.

    im a fond lover of the story and game. Ive atempted to win a few tournaments, come close, but never quite make it

    Ok that sounds purely epic, the only thing thatll make it perfect is some derpy action!
