Inspired panted in the wheezing machine "im whole but i dont now about my buddy here", she said as tapping the canopy of the mech, the canopy broke apart. We need to keep moving she will look high and low for us.

"If need be i can make you some new ones, but nows not the time!" Inspired souted over her shoulder, t looks like everybody was going to fight, well she was going to give it her all.

"Ok lets go, folow me, you stay here until were out of here" she says to Twister. Inspired had the machine heave off and turn, its pistons whining as she made it climb the stairs. There were several guards rushing down to the dungeons, but as soon as they saw the mech they ran back up from where they came. The others following in her wake couldnt see anything ahead as the machine pushed its way up out of the dungeons stairs and into one of the many hallways of the palace. Inspired kept leading them until they came onto one of the main courtyards. As the machines momentum carried it out of the hall Inspired realised that they were in some serious strife. An army of guards and other mechs was waiting for them. The others were still behind her, they hadnt seen the army yet. Inspired made the machine kick back and with a crack the walls of the hall entrance collapsed leaving the others behind a pile of rubble, and Inspired in front of the collective army. "Get out of here, ill hold them off," Inpsired cries out hoping she can be heard through the pile of masonry. Lowering her cannons the former engineer was ready to do battle.

"I do my best," Inspired winks back, keeping the cannons level with Twister, "id get out of here soon guys, i didnt make the most subtle of entries...Looking over at another of the cells Inspired saw a pony lamenting on the floor of his cell. He had no legs and was looking furiously on the scene. Inspired figured he was one of the princess's many victims, "somebody get that pony out of there," she said and with another flick of the machines legs his cell was forced apart.

The machine rumbles down the halls until it reaches the stairs to the dungeons, having been built for open battlefields it struggled to pound down the narrow path and its sides screeched along the walls. Well at least ill distract the guards. Doing her best to conrtol the lumbering war machine Inspired grinds her teeeth and braces herself as she pushes the mech faster and faster. By the time it gets to the dungeons floor it is going at a(for a slow walking tank) breakneck speed. Inspired rams the dungeon door and both she and the mech fly into the room. Seeing Twister standing guard Inspired braces the machines twin light cannons and aims at her, "dont try anything, im not here to kill, im trying to save my friends." She pulls several levers and the mech raises a foreleg and rips through the cells bars, releasing the rebels.

Inspired stopped mnidsprint as she listened to Coppermanes order. The whole thing had failed, of course it had, nobody can oppose the princess. No! She wont just abandon them! Inspired goes back to the armoury and helps the engineers fix the last mech. She tries her earpiece, "Coppermane can you hear me?" all she gets in reply is static. He must be alive, and the others, theyre definately in the dungeon but theres no way i can get them out without the guards knowing. So far Inspired had played everything safe, knowing her life is forfeit if the princess knows of her betrayal, but she wont let her friends suffer. Inspired jumps in to the mech she had just repaired, the 4 legged armoured behemoth sluggishly responded to the controls, lumbering from the armoury. "Hey what are you doing? Stop!" one of the guards cries out as she squeezes the machine into one of the castles passages, destroying the walls. "Stay out of my way," she shouts from the wheezing machine. Im coming guys just hold on!

Inspired looked up from her pilfering, she thought she had heard a commotion, looking around it seemed like nobody else heard anything in the racket of the damaged mechs, but years of working on machines had taught her to ignore ambiant noise. She races to the throne room, sure that the rebels would be causing strife there, she picks up a large metal saw as she goes, why be subtle?

Inspired was helping the others clean up the mess in the armoury. She fearfully hoped the rebels will hurry up, soon there will be a lot of ponies asking questions about what happened. Pl anning her own escape, Inspired secretly hid away some equipment thatd come in handy.

Inspired went outside, watching the horizon she could just make out a couple of black dots. She wanders over to the guards posted on this side of the palace. "Hello there guys, can you come with me and help me in the armoury, theres a big commotion, it seems the mechanics havent done their job and now theres lots of heavy lifting." She led the guards away, and looks back once, silently hoping the rebels will be ok.

With the pulling of ac chord, the huge "Clopper" mech starts up, its engines screaming as it stands, then a screen of smoke fills the armoury, getting everybodies attention,. Inspired moves to the next mech, then the next, setting every machine off. The racket flows throughout the castle and most of the guards rush in looking for what the ruckus is about. :your distraction is a go."

"Give me an hour, and the princess will have her hands full." Inspired quickly gets to work, pulling apart the heart of a machine, and secretly adjusting it before replacing everything and moving to the next machine.

Inspired takes advantage of her free roam to explore the palaces armouries, looking on the various mechanisations an idea formed in her head. "Coppermane this is Inspired, do you need a diversion? Ive got some ideas..."

'Theres a whole ventialtion system we can exploit, the flyers can get in through them, get to the prisoners and save them, we can even take out the guatds from behind in the side exits."

Wow, a guest of honour for the princess, before her big adventure this wouldve been a dream, a full belly, a beautiful room and free roam of the palace. But now it just made her sick to think of what everypony had to do to keep this place running. Stealthily Inspired roamed the palace, but it was so heavily guarded everywhere. Nearly giving up she lay on her bed and stared at the ceiling thinking. She then realised there was a pony sized duct in her ceiling, just like every room. She runs out to stand in the palace gardens and looks up at the roof, the ducts were fed by air scoops on the roof...ones big enough to get the rebels through, not the easiest task but its better than a fronatal attack. Inspired turned on the earpiece "Coppermane, i think ive found the way in..."

Inspired gets taken before the princess, and she bows as she steps past the doors. "My princess, i have great news" she throws the goggles at the princess's feet, "i finished my mission, he is dead."
