  1. Last time I checked, I was a guy. I do admit i have some subtle feminine quirks, and some people recognize it. But I'm a guy and I'm fine with it. I do want to know what it is like to have breasts though
  2. Doing a simple search, a thread from this forum came up. Got curious. Signed up.
  3. I honestly think that Scootaloo is a stronger character as a pegasus that can't fly. And I know we can't be sure if she will ever be able to fly or not, but making things more open-ended creates more space for us to enjoy the real lesson behind the episode. If we knew the answer straight away, it would be pointlessly boring, and that would detract from the point of the show altogether, since it values the friendship and work for the journey and not for the destination. Besides, leaving this kind of cliffhangers doesn't necessarily mean dodging. They could be foreshadowing, setting up, or simply trying to make room for stuff. This is also why I think the CMC will never get their cutie marks: the whole point of their creation is to make a personification (ponyfication?) of discovery and coming of age. Giving them cutie marks would be destroying such entertaining plotline, and the same could be applied to Scootaloo's flying or lack thereof. As for the Pinkie Apple Pie thing, I don't see why being an Apple would change anything. The way I see it, Applejack and Pinkie would maintain the same relationship regardless, since the whole point of the episode was that biological ties don't really mean anything and it's the emotional bonds that count. It will only be bad development if they fail to show that they've effectively learned this lesson in future episodes. All my opinion, anyways.
  4. Ha. I noticed that too. Interesting how almost every reference in this season has been pretty obvious (take the grumpy cat cutie mark in the previous episode for example) and then they throw this in such a way almost nobody notices.
  5. (Oh my, not it public, Deesinn sir~) but i jus wanna b ur friend :cccccc Alright, fiiiine. Since you all like it so much But only if I don't come up with anything more ridiculously hilarious. 6. I watched my first episode, Lesson Zero, round April 2013, out of sheer curiosity. Became a brony some weeks after that, but I only recognized myself as such in June.
  7. I personally can't like this movie. Honestly, the story was bland, Sunset Shimmer was totally one-dimensional, the ex-boyfriend subplot was unnecessary and cliché, and Flash Sentry has as much depth as a cardboard cutout of himself. Also, while Equestria Girls (as in the song, or "Helping Twilight Win the Crown", whatevs) was a pretty well done song, catchy and all, i feel I can enjoy it better if I don't look at the animation. Maybe DHX just isn't used to animate humans, because the whole scene is very awkward. The human body type is poor, also. But this is all my opinion. There were several factors that make it better. But I honestly think it could have gone much, much better, and I know Meghan, Jayson and the rest of the team are capable of that. Maybe one day they'll decide to try again.
  8. Welp, just finished watching it. It was good episode. There were parts where it seemed a bit rushed, and the scene where the steering wheel got thrown out was predictable. But the lesson was interesting and I can say it was one of the funniest episodes of the season so far. And the song. Now THAT's catchy. I give it a 7/10, overall.
  9. Ooooohhh, and why is that? Thanks everyone, again! Now I am sure I'll have tons of fun here!
  10. One of my favourite shows of all time. While I enjoy the modern series, my favourite Doctor is and will always be the fourth, Tom Baker, since he was the first I saw, from all the DVDs lying around. From the modern series, I have to pick David Tennant. I never really liked Matt Smith, but his stories were really good. Sylvester McCoy, the seventh, was also amazing. Also, I seem to like Steven Moffat's stories better than Russel T Davies' ones. I honestly think Moffat is a better writer. Just look at Sherlock.
  11. Thank you kindly for the warm welcome, my friend. I'll enjoy my stance indeed ^.^ I love Luna as well. She's the best princess in my opinion. I only have this opinion towards Octavia because she has this mysterious vibe that creates a sort of empathy. Besides, she plays the cello (or double bass, I dunno), one of my favourite instruments. There's also the immense amount of fanfiction that I've read that features her. That's why Vinyl Scratch is my other favourite, by the way. Hahaha, I thought the exact same thing when I watched Lesson Zero! Seeing Twilight slowly descending to madness made me wonder if I wasn't watching some parody. I lost it at "Hey girls!" and that Gollum-esque scene. I had the same reaction at Party of One. There's more whovian bronies 'round here, eh? Very interesting. Thank you both for the nice welcome!
  12. Wussup? As you can see, I am HiveMindize, and I joined this forum after a thorough and deep consideration of the available choices. That lasted five minutes. And I am very proud of my decision, thank you very much. So, me. I'm a 18 year old guy from Portugal. And I am, as you have already probably guessed, a brony. A pretty regular one. Except when I'm drunk, but that's for another time. My favorite pony is Octavia, if it matters, although my favorite pony race is the pegasus one. I got into this random technicolour show by a common via: some guy liked it, i thought "why does he like a show for little girls? Well, he is a pretty smart guy. He must have a good reason." So I did some searches, found "Lesson Zero" and it just happened. Outside of MLP, i enjoy sci-fi stuff such as Doctor Who and Firefly, as well as anime and those oldschool 90's cartoons. I am into mostly noir when it comes to movies, and psychological thrillers are my favourite. That's about it. I hope I can meet some interesting people in here. English is not my mother language, but I hope the language gap is small enough to allow for proper understanding Also, until I can learn to properly draw, that abomination of an avatar is staying there. Cheers, lads. Man, weird emoticons. I love them! Oh, and favorite OC is Calamity.
