~Phoenix~

   Eh, for one, involving Phoenix as a species in with the village sort of mitigates the whole zombie subplot too. That is one issue I had with your backstory over on your character sheet of why it had to come down to just one fleeing boy having to make the decision to burn the village. I mean, would think most kids would just sprint away crying to find a place to hide, seems a little bit too mature... though it is certainly a situation that calls for quick maturity!

   Suppose it could be a quicker, easier route to say its just part of a new species' habit to chase out the younger generations which would lead to a similar route.

  But i'm not saying, of course, for you to completely overwrite your Phoenix into a phoenix.

  Hmm... griffons have always been symbols of strength. For some reason, physical strength doesn't seem to mesh too well with the idea of a phoenix. They seem more magical sorts. Harpy maybe could work better than griffon, but I'm having a hard time imagining a good shape for my own harpy OC.

i was actually implying that i can make Phoenix go through some sort of transformation later on? maybe some kind of cliche thing where her quest brings her closer, or she had the blood within her the whole time and she turns into a griffin like being? sounds kinda blegh but also sorta not

Eh... I don't like the idea of completely recreating a character like that. Feels disloyal to the characters original idea.

 But... that is sort of like what they did to Twilight. Though that did anger alot of fans...

 Maybe slightly more bird like? That too weird? ...wait, if harpies are supposed to be bipedal and part man, how does Equestria explain that with the lack of bipedal creatures? Maybe harpies are supposed to be part pony too?
