That got my attention, too! I thought about it, though. The episode was all about Fluttershy becoming more assertive, and less of a pushover. My guess is, they included the part where Angel slaps Fluttershy in order to call more attention to her "pushover" side. If that's what their goal was, I'm pretty sure it worked. -

Personally, I think that'd be considerably less scary and more amusing. The camera quality, I can live with, and from the looks of it, there was even the faintest traces of a subplot. On the other hand, the overall feel of the trailer made me think of a horror movie spoof, rather than an actual horror movie. It'd make a pretty entertaining film in American theaters, even if only for its comedic value. Nice Signature, by the way; BIG fan of Edgar Allen Poe. -

I've stayed with my Uncle in an old hotel before, and in the night we'd hear a violin being played from above us, and when we asked the manager about switching floors, he said the floor above ours was being used for storage, but a violinist's body was found on the same floor decades ago. -

movies/tv Horror Movies: Better in America?

I think most imported (assuming they're original) are pretty creative and are full of things to think about. I used 'Silent House' as an example because the original Italian-made version was shot in one long, continuous take with no camera cuts, almost like a home movie. It might not be the best quality, but the imagination isn't totally watered down with over-the-top special effects and loud noises. -
With the movie 'Silent House' being released in theaters soon, I feel the need to ask this to everypony that likes horror movies: Which are better? American horror movies or Imported horror movies? Most American-made horror movies aren't interesting anymore, and I really like the original Italian 'Silent House' movie, filmed in one extended take.

I think anything that makes it onto the internet/goes viral is bound to be turned into something completely opposite of what it really is; it's just a matter of time. MLP isn't the first children's show to be transformed into something it's not, and you can find a recorded reading of any given gory fanfiction on youtube these days. To be totally honest, if kids don't stumble upon something offensive that's MLP related, chances are they stumble onto something MUCH worse.

I'm pretty stoked for the release of Street Fighter X Tekken, and I can't help but notice that crossover games are popping up all over the place nowadays. Marvel vs. Capcom, Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, etc... Does anyone have any dream-crossover games they'd like to see happen? I've only got a few so far. *Square Enix vs. Capcom (Just think: Dante from Devil May Cry, vs. Sephiroth!) *Marvel vs. DC Universe (It just needs to happen) *Mortal Kombat vs. Marvel (That way, it doesn't have to be rated T again) Looking forward to hearing your ideas!
