Moderators will also see that their job is easier because they have an actual guideline to fail back on, not their own preferences and biases.

I personally feel that more clarification, and more standardization between moderators would be greatly helpful, but I feel that to many members (myself included) are arguing personal anecdotes, and using character attacks rather than addressing the issue at large.
