And just like that my vacation is over... though I've accomplished quite a bit.
-Nearly caught up with unedited footage
-Managed to tune my violin, and find an online tutor who could train me
-Nearly 100% Battlefront
-And beginning to take interest in drawing without bases
I just wish I could have one more day to relax, but I need to make money.

And that ends Nightmare Night in my town. I managed to scare kids and teens alike... and pretty much freaked out everyone I encountered.
The most memorable is when these three teens approached me and shook my hand. I stayed in character by not speaking and just being as stiff as possible. One of the guys reached out to shake my hand and he said "please don't cut me" So I grabbed his hand with my left and with my right I raised my machete... he screamed like a girl. The best part about that is they wanted to take a selfie with me and I let them.
Another kid was annoying me, he constantly just ran and mocked me, after awhile I just ignored him... then he said he wanted to take a selfie, so I let him so he would leave me alone, but all he did was try to take my knife, so I grabbed his hand he let go'd and ran... then I chased after him.
And finally I made a 6 year old cry... and all I did was stand there.
There are more stories I could tell but those were most memorable.

People: Waa, Battlefront II has microtransactions, waa people are going to kill me easily because they can buy star cards and abilities waa.
Me: *Has star cards I'm happy with, a decent k/d, has never bought the loot boxes with real money, and doesn't complain like a child because of microtransactions*

The problem is not just the base inclusion of the microtransactions, it is the fact that the main progression is built around those loot boxes. It is just a really weird design choice doesn't seem satisfying. The game itself looks like a lot of fun and I may pick it up at some point, but I hope the progression system can be overhauled a bit to be a bit more user friendly.
The thing is, I am not against microtransactions as a concept. While companies like EA don't need it, I like the idea of using those MT's to fund free DLC. I will take MT's with free DLC over season passes any day, but the companies need to find a balance. Having the progression system be directly tied to that system just doesn't seem like the best idea, they made the same mistake with the new Need for Speed game and it definitely impacts the game's fun factor, from what I have read.
The main thing I don't understand is that, why did it take this long for people to lose their shit over it and why was it this game specifically? I distinctly remember Call of Duty Black Ops 3 having a massive microtransaction system that had WEAPONS included in them with a hideously low drop rate, but the game also had a $50 season pass on top of that, and that is a YEARLY franchise. Plus, we all know that the quality in CoD games is piss poor when compared to a game made by DICE. I don't get why people are choosing to get riled now when Activision has been toying with this concept for years and doing it with season passes to boot.

Well I got hired elsewhere that will ensure I have good hours, and is going to start me off more than my old job. Gonna miss all my coworkers and even my managers, they were such nice people. Though sadly you can't pay bills with friendship.

@Catsle has introduced me to this hunting game. I've never had any interest in hunting, but in this game there is just something so satisfying about tracking animals and killing them... and terrifying when a bear retaliates.
