***Note: this was my old "about me" that I made around when I originally joined. Most everything is still relevant, of course. Just know this section below hasn't been edited in a long time... and silly me, using "A.J." instead of just "AJ" haha. But sometimes it's nice to keep things as they are, for the sake of nuance.***

First things first: I'm a diehard rocker. Nu Metal, Grunge, Alternative, and others of the like:
Adema, Linkin Park, Nirvana, STP, Korn... You get the point.

Short version: Besides MLP:FIM... I love cars - I'm a gearhead. And I love computers - I'm a Comp Sci major. I'm a Christian, and I like to be peaceful and get along with everyone.

Longer version: Howdy everypony. I'm country boy from central IL. I became a brony in late 2013/early 2014. I've watched all the episodes from all 4 seasons more than a few times through now, and I still sometimes find it hard to choose my favorites, despite what you might have seen me post in my first welcome thread. For the sake of simplicity, my fallback favorite is Applejack; she and I live similar lives as far as being country goes. But I love all the Mane 6, each for very different reasons:

I like A.J. because we are so alike in our country ways; Rainbow Dash because of her instinctual loyalty/guardian traits - she will defend her friends til the end; Twilight because of her bountiful knowledge, common sense, and not to mention her high level of power (magic) - I mean, the way she protected everyone from that Ursa Minor (WOW); Fluttershy because of her love for animals, and her introverted nature (I'm an INFJ); Pinkie because of her randomness (I have ADHD) - "and I said 'Oatmeal!? Are you crazy?'"; and Rarity for her generosity and her wittiness (she showed them dogs! lol).

Normal of a country boy, I'm a gearhead - I love vehicles. Anything with wheels and an engine, seriously. First and foremost, I'm mostly a Ford [truck] guy - I drive a 2001 Ford F-150. But I don't hate on other brands. My parents have an '89 Chevy Camaro RS that we take to car shows in the summer. And, I also have a motorcycle - it's an '02 Yamaha V-Star 650.

Currently I'm a college student. I finished my freshman year in May of 2014. Though I'm a gearhead, I also love computers - I'm a Comp Sci major.

Music: I love rock music. My favorite bands are (in no specific order) - Adema, Linkin Park, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Korn, and Red, just to name a few.

Feel free to PM me about anything. I can give you advice about your vehicles; I can talk about ponies, cars, computers, music... anything really. And, if you ever just needed some personal advice, I consider myself a pretty knowledgeable and helpful person. I like helping others.

Lastly, I also like talking about the Myers-Briggs/Jung's Personality type indicator. I'm an INFJ. Google it if your interested in learning about your own personality. Do know, though, that everyone is different and the 16 personality types of the test should not and do not define you, they can just help people to better understand ways their mind might work.

  1. Nearing this day's end, I'm sufficed to say, thankfully, that I'm feeling a subtle onset of relief. Inbound may she come, it's surely welcomed. Maybe I /did/ need today's time off, as t'were, heh. Maybe it was my internal coding is smarter than I consciously believed; somehow, I feel like boolean timeOff = true; helped out afterall... May tomorrow bring good tidings... Likely, I'll head to bed upon midnight strike. http://youtu.be/w7m8NRqKOBw --> Oh, how I...

Can't decide one way or the other. It always bugs me though that Chattanooga (big city in TN) is in eastern and it's only an hour drive away. (So in essence it's like two hours?)

Interesting - y'know, my dad told me he started out in IL, at once lived in TX, and ended back in IL, ironically only 11 miles from his hometown in a neighboring town; in which that town I have always resided. My parent's married in '72; and they were both only 18 then. I just turned 20 recently. Eeyahhhh. Lol.

//heh, what's bad is that you can have jetlag without actually going anywhere #RandomInsomnia (luckily not tonight, least I hope).
